5. Assembly description
As shown on the picture above the device can be assembled in quite an instinctive way. We
recommend that you follow the below steps:
Take all the content out of the box and check with the list above that everything is there. If
you discover that some parts are missing or damaged, do not continue the assembly process.
Contact your dealer right away.
Put the main frame upside down on the floor. You’ll see four holes at the end of the vertical
frame tubes.
Insert the wheel assembly tubes into each frame bottom ending.
There are 2 holes (A & B) drilled in both: the chair's frame and each
wheel's assembly (as shown on the picture). Adjust the wheel's
vertical tube to the position, where one of its holes would match one
of the holes in the frame. Due to this solution it is possible to set the
seat height of the chair in 3 different heights (in 2,5 cm steps). When
required position is reached insert the fixing bolt through all the holes
and tie it with the nut from the opposite side of the tube. Always
adjust all 4 wheels to the same height. Check if all the wheels are
locked correctly by pulling them upwards. They should not be able to
slide out or shake.
Now turn the main frame around into its correct position so it would stand on the 4 wheels.
Before further assembly, lock all brakes on the 4 wheels, so the device won’t move.
Now slide the back frame tubes endings in to two assembly holes located in the rear, top part
of the main frame. Tighten the bolts on both sides of the frame, so the back is stable and rigid.
Put the lid on the bucket. Slide it in to the rails located under the seat. You should do it from
the front into the rear direction of the chair. When the bucket is in the place cover the middle
hole of the seat with the PU cover.
Now you can attach the footrests. Put the top of the footrests into the hole located at the top
front end of the main frame. The footrest should be directed outwards at that point. Now turn
the footrest in until it will lock in its front position. Repeat the same procedure for the second
footrest.
6. Function description
To engage the brakes step down with your toes on the pedals attached to the rear part of each
wheel until they are locked. To disengage the brakes pull up the pedals with your toes until
they will unlock.
You should always engage the breaks when you don´t plan to move the chair. Never leave the
chair without breaks engaged when there is someone sitting in it! Never leave chair on
slopes without breaks engaged!
You can adjust the length of the footrests to match the height of the user. Release the leg rests
length adjustment bolt and slide the footrest tube in to the required position. Then tie the bolt
so the footrest is fixed and stable.
The excrements bucket should only be used by persons who have difficulties to use regular
toilets. For the bucket to be used remove the middle whole cover. Take the lid off the bucket.
When defecation is finished put the lid back on the bucket and pull the bucket out of the
chair. Empty the bucket, and wash it before sliding it back under the chairs seat. Put the seats
middle whole cover of the seat back on.
Never leave bucket unemptied or unwashed.
To unlock and detach the footrest press the locking lever, turn the footrest outwards and then
pull it up, of the chair. The elevating foot plates and the above function helps to transfer the

Rev. 02-20 Page 5/9 User manual - Shower Chair 2018
user into and out of the chair. It also helps to wash all the parts of the users’ body during the
shower when footrests are removed.
Never move the chair with footrests detached when there is someone in it. Always put the
feet of the user on foot plates when moving the chair.
Armrests can easily be lifted by pulling them up. To move them back into a low position
simply push them down. This function helps transfer the user into and out of the chair and to
wash the user.
Never leave the chair unattended with armrests lifted when there is someone in it.
Please note that the footrests and armrests are not designed to handle the full max. body
weight of a user and should not be loaded like that.
6.1 Transport recommendations (how to lift and carry)
Warning !
When transporting, the seat must be set to the lowest possible position with the
possibility of free movement of transport wheels (from footrests).
The shower chair is not a device designed for frequent
transportation. If it is necessary to transport the chair, we
recommend disassembling it in the opposite way of the
assembly description above. If you need to carry the
assembled shower chair, then we recommend detaching
the footrests and lifting the shower chair on both sides of
the frame on the points shown below.
The shower chair is equipped with 4 independent wheels with brake, (Figure 4):
- TRANSPORTATION (A) –The chairs 4 wheels are not locked
- WORKING (B) –the 4 wheels of the chair is locked when the red brake is activated
A - transportation
B - locked

6.2 Mounting and removing footrest
The shower chair is equipped with removable footrests. To remove the footrest, press the release
button and pull up the footrest (Figure 5). Mounting is done the opposite way.
Figure 5 Figure 6
6.3 Height adjustment of footrest
Height adjustment is done by edge grips located on the main part of the footrest (Figure 6). To
change the height of the footrest top, loosen the edge grip. Set the desired footrest length and lock the
locking screw.
6.4 Removing the seat
To clean the surface of the seat and frame located under the seat, remove the seat plate (Figure 7). To
remove the seat, pull up the front and pull in the direction of the foot rest. To mount the seat plate,
insert it onto the seat frame and push the front to block the latching elements. The guides located
below the plate ensure the stable seat frame.

7. Cleaning
For daily cleaning, we recommend wiping with surface disinfection (wet wipes), either with anti-
bacterial ingredients (according to SSI guidelines) or with alcohol.
•For a thorough cleaning, it is possible to wash the shower chair in an automatic washing
machine or with saturated water vapor for up to 1 minute at 90 ° C, up to 5 minutes at 85 ° C
or up to 10 minutes at 80 ° C.
•Easy cleaning of and under the toilet seat. To remove the seat, see section 6.4 removing the
seat. Both frame and seat can then be cleaned.
•Depending on the hardness of the water where you live, we recommend removing lime
regularly. Do not use acid or similar. Spray the chair with tartaric acid (1:1) or household
vinegar, leave for 2-3 hours and rinse with water. Wipe the chair with a dry cloth. In extreme
cases, it may be necessary to use lime remover. In this case, the minimum should be diluted
1-4 with water before applying the limed areas to the chair.
The product is usually maintenance-free, but you should periodically undergo a check that by a
professional.
Warning!
When using the chair under very calcareous water, a lime bond on wheel bearings and other moving
parts may occur. In this case, it can be cleaned with a lime-dissolving agent and then lubricated with
lubricating oil.
Warning!
When used in very chlorine-containing environments, extra strong corrosion will occur and the
warranty will end.
7.1. Maintenance
•Clean the metal parts with a soft, damp cloth / sponge. Wipe the parts immediately after
cleaning.
•All moving joints should be lubricated every six months or when it "creaks" or any other
noise occurs. In particular:
-Wheel axle,
-Shaft Actuators,
-Moving parts
•We recommend using all available lubricants. Protect padded parts from contact with
lubricants and remove any excess or leakage of them with a dry cloth.
•Check thread collections regularly, or at least every six months. Such collections are
especially:
-Bolts welding with upper and lower frame;
-Wheel screws,
-Armrest screws.
•If there are loose connections that cannot be solved, take the chair out of use and contact
your dealer for service.
