After use, before opening, always rinse with fresh water (with Digital
Slave Strobe inside) and then immerse in fresh water for 30 minutes
minimum, to dissolve any salt deposits.
Dry the housing surface with a soft dry cloth. Open the housing, making
sure no water drops fall inside, and take the Digital Slave Strobe out
carefully.
Never use petroleum, alcohol, benzene and paint thinner to clean the
housing and the O-Ring.
Do not use or store this housing in high temperatures (above 60C/140F
degrees).
Dry the housing thoroughly in a well ventilated area out of direct sunlight.
Keep the Front and Rear Covers open when storing the housing. Be sure
not to store the housing with the Digital Slave Strobe inside.
In very clear water and bright conditions, such as shallow depth and white
sandy bottom, strobe sensor may not "see" camera's flash, and will
not trigger Digital Slave Strobe. Try connecting a commercially
available fiber optic cable not included between the housing's diffuser
holder and camera housing.
To soften light, or reduce strobe light output, attach one of the included
diffusers to the diffuser holder.
