TheFantaseaNanoFocusLightisahighintensityultracompactunderwaterLEDlight.Itwas
designedasamodelinglightandinordertobetterenablethecameraautofocus,especially
whenphotographinginlowlight
conditions.TheNanoFocusLightfeatures
adim‐outsensorwhichautomatically
shutsofftheLEDlightwheneveracamera
pre‐flashisfired,therebyeliminatinga
hotspotintheimage,causedbythebeam
ofthelight.


InstructionsforUse

A. Installing&RemovingBatteries
a. ToopentheNanoFocusLight,holdthehandgripfirmlyinonehandand
turntheflashlightheadcounterclockwiseuntilitseparates.Pullthe
flashlightheadoff.Pleasemakesurethatthelightispointedinanupward
positionsothecontentsdonotfalloutwhenopened.Takespecialcarenot
tostareintothelightbeamwhichisverypowerfulandcoulddamageyour
eyes.
b. GentlyremovetheLEDheadbypullingitout.
c. Installorremove4AAAAlkalinebatteries.Pleasenotethatthislightshould
notbeusedwithrechargeablebatteries.Makesuretofollowthe
instructionsdiagramprintedontheinteriorofthelight.Notethatthereare
twosetsoftwobatteries,eachsetpointingtowardsadifferentdirection.
d. ReplacetheLEDheadcarefully,makingsurethatthetwoprotrusionsonthe
insideofthebatterycompartmentcorrespondwiththetwonichesonthe
LEDhead.Thisistheonlywayitwillfitproperly.
e. Carefullyplacetheflashlightheadoverthethreads,andtightenevenlyina
clockwisefashion.Donotuseforceanddonotallowittoscrewdown
unevenly.Takespecialcarenottostareintothelightbeamwhichisvery
powerfulandcoulddamageyoureyes.

f. Itisrecommendedtooccasionallyapplyaslightamountofsiliconegreaseto
theblackO‐ringsealfoundontheflashlightafterunscrewingtheflashlight
headcounterclockwise.

B. TurningtheNanoFocusLightOn/Off
a. Inordertoswitchthelighton,carefullyturntheflashlighthead
counterclockwisejustenoughforthelighttoturnon.Oncethelightis
turnedon,donotkeepturningtheflashlightheadcounterclockwise,or
elsethewatertightsealofthelightwillbedamaged.
b. Inordertoswitchthelightbackoff,turntheflashlightheadinaclockwise
fashionallthewaytotheend.Pleasenotethatthereisneveraneedtouse
forcewhenclosingoropeningthelightorwhenturningitonoroff.
c. Pleasenote:Ifyouareturningtheflashlightheadmorethanhalfaturnand
nothinghappens,youareprobablyturningitthewrongway.

C. MountingtheNanoFocusLightonanArm
a. RemovethescrewfromtheY‐SConnectoratthebottomoftheNanoFocus
Lightbyunscrewingitallthewayout.
b. PositiontheNanoFocusLightoverthearmsothattheY‐SMountontopof
thearmisalignedwiththeY‐SConnectoratthebottomofthefocuslight.
c. Installthescrewallthewaythroughthefocuslightandarmconnectors.
Tightenitenoughtokeepthefocuslightinafixedposition.

D. UsingtheNanoFocusLight
a. YoucankeeptheNanoFocusLightturnedonduringthedive,asitfeaturesa
burntimeofapprox.8hourspersetofbatteries.
b. Duringthedive,tiltthefocuslightmountedonthearm,sothatitispointing
atyoursubject.Thiswillallowforthecameratoeasilyfocusonthesubject,
evenwhenphotographinginlowlightconditions,ensuringyourimageturns
outfocusedandsharp.
c. Oncethecamerahasfocused,pushtheshutterreleasebuttonalltheway
downtotaketheimage.TheNanoFocusLightdim‐outsensorwill
automaticallyshutoffthelightforasecondwhenthecamerapre‐flashis
emitted.Thiswillpreventahotspotinyourimagecausedbythebeamof
thelight.
d. Afterasecond,theNanoFocusLightwillautomaticallyturnbackon.

E. Care&Maintenance
a. Aftereachdive,carefullysoakandrinseexteriorcomponentsinfreshwater.
b. StoretheNanoFocusLightinaprotected,dryandshadedarea.

c. RemovebatterieswhenstoringtheNanoFocusLightforanextendedperiod
oftime.

FantaseaProductsConsumerLimitedWarranty

“Fantasea”warrantsthisFantaseaLinebrandedproductagainstdefectsin
materialsandworkmanshipunderreasonableuseforaperiodofONE(1)YEAR,
(twoyears,whererequiredbylawasdeterminedbytheoriginoftheauthorized
dealer).ThiswarrantyiseffectivefromthedateofretailpurchasefromFantasea
oranauthorizedFantaseadealer,bytheoriginalend‐userpurchaser(“Warranty
Period”).Thiswarrantydoesnotcoveranycommercialuseoftheproduct.Ifa
productdefectarisesandavalidclaimisreceivedwithintheWarrantyPeriod,at
itsoption,Fantasea,oritsauthorizedservicefacilitieswilleither(1)repairthe
productdefectatnocharge,(2)exchangetheproductwithaproductthatisnew
orwhichhasbeenmanufacturedfromneworserviceableusedpartsandisat
leastfunctionallyequivalenttotheoriginalproduct.Thewarrantywillnotextend
beyondtheoriginalwarrantyperiod.
YourFantaseaProductshouldberegisteredwithin30daysofpurchase.You
mustkeeptheproofofpurchasewhichindicatesthedateonwhichthepurchase
wasmade;asyoumayberequiredtoshowproofofpurchaseifyouneed
warrantyservice.Thefollowingconditionsapply:1.Thiswarrantyextendstothe
originalpurchaseronly.Itisnotassignableortransferable.2.Thewarrantydoes
notcoverdamageresultingfrommisuse,abuse,negligence,oraccidents.Proper
maintenanceoftheProductistheresponsibilityoftheowner.3.Thewarranty
doesnotcoverdamagedirectlyorindirectlyresultingfromtheuseof
unauthorizedreplacementpartsorserviceperformedbyunauthorizedfacilities.
4.Thiswarrantydoesnotcoveranydamagetoanyotherproductusedin
conjunctionwiththeFantaseaproduct,includingcamerasandlenses,and
resultingfromanydefectintheproductmaterialsorworkmanship.5.Thecostof
sendingtheproductbacktoFantaseaoritsauthorizedservicefacilitiesisthe
responsibilityofthecustomer.6.Thewarrantydoesnotcoveranyincidental
damagesresultingfromanydefectsintheproduct.Thisexpresslyincludesany
travelreimbursementsoranyothercostsassociatedwiththepurchaser’s
optionaluseoftheproduct.Theconditionsofthiswarrantyareexpresslyinlieu
ofallotherexpressedwarranties,includingthepaymentofconsequentialor
