Accessories
This appliance comes with inserts, to be used according to your needs and tastes.
t Use the ground coffee holder (15) and place it in the insert holder (14), if you
want to use ground coffee to brew coffee.
t Use the capsule holder (16) and place it in the insert holder (14), if you want to
use a capsule to brew coffee.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Before rst use
t Remove all packaging materials and/or other transportation means.
t Check package content to verify it is complete and undamaged. Do not operate
the appliance if the content is incomplete or appears damaged. Return it
immediately to Walmart.
Danger of suocation!
-Packaging materials are not toys. Always keep plastic bags, foils and foam parts
away from babies and children. Packaging material could block airways and
prevent breathing.
NOTE:
-Always use the appliance with a suitable cup/mug and fully assembled.
-The appliance may produce an odor and/or emit smoke when switched on for
the first time, as residues from the production process are eliminated. This is
normal and does not indicate a defect or hazard.
-When using the appliance for the first time, it is recommended to operate it for
at least 1 full cycle without coffee or a capsule ( Operation).
-Let the appliance cool completely.
-Clean the appliance ( Cleaning and Maintenance).

USING THE APPLIANCE
Using the appliance
This appliance can be used for brewing up to 14oz of coee using ground coee
or K-cup capsules, according to the insert used. Use only water and do not use any
other liquids.
NOTE:
-The appliance has a rated power of 1200W. Before plugging it into the wall
outlet, ensure that the electrical circuit is not overloaded with other appliances.
This appliance should always be operated on a separate 120V ~ 60Hz wall
outlet.
-Make sure the appliance is assembled before connecting it to a wall outlet.
t Place the appliance on a clean, flat and heat resistant surface (ill. a).
t Lift the release lever (1) to unlock the lid (ill. b).
WARNING:
-Do not touch the needle on the underside of the lid (2) or inside the capsule
holder (16), they are sharp.
-Only use suitable ground coffee or capsules. Do not place ground coffee/
capsule directly into the insert holder (14) (ill. c). Do not place other than
the recommended ground coffee/capsule into the ground coffee holder (15)/
capsule holder (16).
-Some capsules may not work with this appliance. If the capsule does not
properly fit into the capsule holder (16), or leaks during the brewing cycle, do
not use that type of capsule again.
t When using the ground coffee holder (15), ensure it contains the required
amount of ground coffee. Fill with ground coffee up to the MAX fill line. Do not
overfill it. Do not compress the ground coffee in the ground coffee holder (15).
Do not use ground coffee for Espressos, as it is too fine and can clog the ground
coffee holder. Insert the ground coffee holder (15) in the insert holder (14)
(ill. d).
t When using the capsule holder (16), insert a capsule in the capsule holder.

t Close the lid (2) into the e).
t Place the drip tray (11) with cup holder (10) in either the upper or lower
mounting slots (12) (ill. f). Ensure it is securely in place when using the upper
mounting slots and sits flat when using the lower mounting slots.

USING THE APPLIANCE
NOTE:
-Use the lower mounting slots (12) when using large mugs and the upper
mounting slots (12) when using small cups.
-When removing the water reservoir (3) close the lid (2).
t Lift the water reservoir (3) and remove it from the appliance. Remove the lid from
the water reservoir (3).
t Fill the water reservoir (3) with fresh cold water (ill. g) and then refit the water
reservoir (3) with lid afterwards.
WARNING:
-Do not over or under ll the water reservoir (3). Ensure the water level is always
between the Min and Max marking on the water level indicator (4) (ill. g).
Remove the water reservoir and drain excess water if needed.
t Securely place a cup/mug in the center of the cup holder (10) (ill. h).
t Insert the plug (5) into a wall outlet (ill. i). All indicator lights will flash 3 times,
followed by the appliance switching to stand-by mode with all indicator lights off.

-During the brewing process, pressing the cup SIZE button (7) will have no
effect, as the set volume cannot be modified after brewing has started.
-If the water reservoir (3) is empty from the start or empties during the brewing
process, the appliance will stop heating and all indicator lights (6, 7, 8, 9)
switch off after a few seconds. After refilling water to re-start brewing, the unit
will take 2 to 3 minutes before brewing to protect itself.

USING THE APPLIANCE
WARNING:
-During use, the appliance produces hot steam. Keep clear of the area above the
appliance at all times.
-Do not open the lid (2) during use (ill. k) or touch the appliance housing (ill. l).
-Never use the appliance with the lid (2) open (ill. m) or without the ground
coffee holder (15)/capsule holder (16) in the insert holder (14) (ill. n). The
appliance will switch off automatically. Close the lid (2), place the release
lever (1) in the lock position and/or place the ground coffee holder (15)/
capsule holder (16) in the insert holder (14) and repeat previous steps to
resume brewing.
-Do not remove the cup/mug until all indicator lights have switched off.
t Once the brewing cycle has finished, all indicator lights switch off automatically.
Disconnect the plug (5) from the wall outlet (ill. o).
t Remove the cup/mug from the cup holder (10).
t Allow the appliance to cool down before removing the ground coffee holder (15)/
capsule holder (16) from the insert holder (14). Always remove any used coffee
grounds/capsules after use. Remove with caution as recently used coffee grounds
or capsules can be hot.
WARNING:
-The ground coffee holder/capsule holder is hot after using the appliance. Allow
to cool before removing.
-Hot steam might be trapped under the lid (2).
NOTE:
-If you want to brew another cup/mug of coffee, allow the appliance to cool for
at least 1 minute, before starting a new brewing cycle. Always ensure the water
level is suitable for your next brew. Refill the water reservoir (3) if necessary.
Always fill the ground coffee holder (15) with fresh ground coffee or place
a new capsule in the capsule holder (16). Do not reuse the same capsule/
ground coffee. Insert the ground coffee holder (15)/ capsule holder (16) in
the insert holder (14) and close the lid (2) afterwards. Repeat previous steps
(Brewing).
HINTS AND TIPS
-It is recommended to avoid placing the appliance under cabinets, as rising
steam can cause damage to wooden furniture.
-Empty the drip tray after each use to prevent it from overflowing.
-Use a suitable thermal cup/mug to keep your coffee hot for longer.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Proper maintenance will ensure many years of service from your appliance. Clean
the appliance after every use. The appliance contains no user serviceable parts and
requires little maintenance. Leave any servicing or repairs to qualied personnel.
WARNING:
-Always disconnect the plug (5) from the wall outlet before cleaning. Allow all
parts of the appliance to cool down completely.
-The underside of the lid (2) and capsule holder (16) contain sharp needles. Use
caution when handling and during cleaning. Do not touch the needles.
NOTE:
-Do not immerse the power cord with plug (5) or appliance into water or any
other liquids. Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool or scouring pads. Dry all
parts thoroughly after cleaning, before using or storing the appliance. Ensure
that no water enters the appliance housing.
t Remove the drip tray (11) with cup holder (10), ground coffee holder (15) and
capsule holder (16) from the appliance. These parts can be washed in hot soapy
water.
t Wipe the seal on the needle on the underside of the lid (2) with a damp cloth. Do
not remove the seal.
t Clean all accessories after each use.
t Clean the appliance housing, lid (2) and insert holder (14) with a damp sponge
or cloth.
NOTE:
-Always clean all parts that have come into contact with food in soapy water
immediately after use and before storage.
-Dry all parts and surfaces thoroughly before use. Make sure that all parts and
surfaces are completely dry before connecting the appliance to a wall outlet.
DESCALING
Descaling
To keep your appliance operating eectively, periodically descale your appliance to
remove any build-up of lime scale. We recommend removing lime scale deposits as
follows:
t Remove the water reservoir (3) from the appliance and remove the reservoir lid.
t Please use a household descaler. Fill the water reservoir (3) with fresh water and
descaler up to the 14oz marking on the water level indicator (4). The ratio of
water and descaler is 4:1. For details refer to the instructions of descaler.

DESCALING
t Place the lid back onto the water reservoir (3) and put the water reservoir back on
the appliance.
t Ensure the ground coffee holder (15) is placed in the insert holder (14) without
coffee and the release lever (1) is placed in the lock position.
t Place the drip tray (11) with cup holder (10) in the lower mounting slots (12).
Ensure it sits flat.
t Place a large mug onto the cup holder (10).
t Insert the plug (5) into a wall outlet.
t Press both the CAPSULE and GROUND buttons (8, 9) at the same time until their
indicator lights switch on and flash. The appliance will start pumping water.
NOTE:
-The appliance will run for 5 cycles of 24 seconds each, alternating water
pumping and resting time during each cycle.
-Do not press buttons nor try to interrupt the process during the descaling
cycle.
t Once the descaling cycle has finished, the appliance and the indicator lights
automatically switch off.
t Rinse the appliance by brewing 14oz of fresh water at least 3 times afterwards
without coffee placed in the ground coffee holder (15). Discard of the water
afterwards.
t Disconnect the plug (5) from the wall outlet.
NOTE:
-Alternatively, you can use white vinegar instead of household descaler. The
ratio of water and white vinegar is 2:1.
STORAGE
Storage
t Before storage, always make sure the appliance is completely cool, clean and dry.
t It is recommended to store the appliance in a dry place.
t Never wrap the power cord (5) around the appliance.
t Store the appliance on a stable shelf or in a cupboard. To avoid accidents, ensure
that both the appliance and its power cord are beyond reach of children or pets.

Almacenamiento
t Antes de guardar, siempre asegúrese de que el aparato esté totalmente frío,
limpio y seco.
t Se recomienda guardar el producto en un lugar seco.
t Nunca envuelva el cable eléctrico (5) alrededor del aparato.
t Almacene el aparato en un estante firme o en un armario. Para evitar accidentes,
asegúrese de que el aparato y el cable de alimentación estén fuera de alcance de
los niños o animales domésticos.

DESCALCIFICACIÓN
Descalcicación
Para mantener su aparato funcionando de manera ecaz, debe descalcicar
periódicamente el aparato para eliminar cualquier acumulación de cal. Se
recomienda eliminar incrustaciones de cal como sigue:
t Retire el depósito de agua (3) del aparato y retire la tapa del depósito.
t Por favor, utilice descalcificador doméstico. Llene el tanque de agua (3) con
agua fresca y descalcificador hasta la marca de 14oz en el indicador de nivel de
agua (4). La proporción de agua y descalcificador es 4:1. Para detalles refiérase a
las instrucciones del descalcificador.
t Vuelva a colocar la tapa sobre el depósito de agua (3) y vuelva a colocar el
depósito de agua en el aparato.
t Asegúrese de que el depósito de café molido (15) se encuentre dentro del
soporte de piezas (14) sin café y que la palanca de desbloqueo (1) se encuentre
en posición de bloqueo.
t Coloque la bandeja de goteo (11) con soporte de tazas (10) en las ranuras de
montaje inferiores (12). Asegúrese de que se asiente completamente plano.
t Coloque una taza grande en el soporte de tazas (10).
t Conecte el enchufe (5) con una toma de corriente.
t Presione los botones CAPSULE y GROUND (8, 9) a la vez hasta que se enciendan
las luces indicadoras y parpadeen. El aparato comenzará a bombear agua.
NOTA:
-El aparato llevará a cabo 5 ciclos de 24 segundos cada uno, alternando el
bombeo de agua y restando tiempo durante cada ciclo.
-No pulse ningún botón o intente interrumpir el proceso durante el ciclo de
descalcificación.
t Una vez finalizado el ciclo de preparación, el aparato y todas las luces indicadoras
se apagarán automáticamente.
t Enjuague el aparato realizando un proceso de preparación con 14 oz de agua
limpia al menos 3 veces sin café dentro del depósito para café molido (15).
Deseche el agua a continuación.
t Retire el enchufe (5) de la toma de corriente.
NOTA:
-También puede utilizar vinagre blanco en vez de descalcificador doméstico. La
proporción de agua y vinagre blanco es de 2:1.
