Settingupyoursystem
1. Select the correct mains power cable foryour mains power socket.
2. Connect the small end of the AC power cable into theAC power connector on the baseofthe Cavallino GT1
3. Plug the other end intoa live AC (mains) outlet
CAUTION:Do not cover the ventilation openings of the product.
Installingtheremotecontrolbattery
1. On the rear of the remote control, slideoff the battery door of the remote control.
2. Insert the suppliedbatteries, observing the polarity asshown on remote control.
3. Replace battery cover
WARNING:Please ensure that thebatteryis insertedcorrectly. If the battery is insertedincorrectly (reversed
polarity), thismaycausepersonalinjuryaswellasdamage toyour CavallinoGT1.

Operatingyoursystem
You can turnon your Cavallino GT1 in any of the following two ways:
•Press the ‘Power/Paring’ button on topof the Cavallino GT1 or press thepower button on the remote control.
To turn off the Cavallino GT1, do either one of thefollowing:
•Press and holdthe ‘Power/Pairing’ button on the CavallinoGT1 or the ‘Power’ button on theremote control for -1-
10 seconds.
•Remove the docked device
Power Saving Modes
The CavallinoGT1 is equipped with an automatic power saving mode, ifno music is detected for 15minutes the GT1
will automatically switch itselfto standby mode toconserve power.

You can connect to the GT1 in unit different ways:
1. Using theiPoddock connectorfor audio and charging your iPod,iPhone or iPad.
2. Using Bluetooth to stream wirelessly from you’re Bluetoothdevice such as Apple device (certain models) and
most Android/ Window devices.
3. Support CompositeVideo output with a RCA connector.
4. Support the audiofrom your soundsources (Eg. TV,CD player) via a 3.5mm line in stereocable.
Please push thedocking tray

BluetoothConnectivity
Pairing the unittoyourdevice
Before you start ensure your Bluetooth device (mobile phone, MP3 player, computer,etc.) supports A2DP Bluetooth
profile(Commonly known as stereo audio profile) to work with the player. Many of the latest mobile phones and PCs
with built-in Bluetooth functionality will support this profile. For accurate information about your product, please
refer toyour Bluetooth device’s user manual for details on the Bluetooth profiles.
You will need topair your Bluetooth device with theCavallino GT1 before you can play music through theCavallino
GT1 via Bluetooth. Pairing creates a permanent “bond” so two devices canalways recognize each other.
Pairing:
1. Select the Bluetooth source by pressing the‘power’ buttonon theGT1 or the‘source button’ on the remote
control, until the Source Indicator illuminates BLUE.
2. Press andhold the‘Power/Paring’ buttonon theGT1 for morethan 10 seconds,Source Indicator willflash BLUE.
This means the GT1 is in pairing mode.
3. Activate the Bluetooth on your device to search for otherBluetooth devices (accordingto the device’s user
manual).
4. Search for thedevice name‘Cavallino GT1’ and pair with this device
5. Once connected, blueLED willstopflashing andstay permanently ON, theBluetooth iconwillbeshown on
your devices display.
6. Cavallino GT1 SpeakerSystem will autolink with the last linked device.

Playing BluetoothMusic:
•Once your deviceandtheCavallinoGT1arepairedyoucanstart toplaymusic throughthe CavallinoGT1via
Bluetooth.
•Turn on theCavallinoGT1 andselect “Bluetooth” sourceon the App screen.
•Press the on the remote control to play your Bluetooth-enableddevice. This functionis dependent on your
Bluetooth device.
•Press the on the remote control againto pause play; press again to resume it.
•Press the VOLUME +/ -on theCavallino GT1or remote control to adjust thesystem volume.
•Please remember to turnoff Bluetooth devicemanually.
UsingtheVideoOutput
When playingadockediPod, iPhone andiPadwithvideocapability, theVIDEO OUT connector providesacomposite
video output signal that can be viewedon a TV or computer monitor.
To view this video output on your TV or monitor, connect the VIDEO OUTfrom the Cavallino GT1 toavideo input on
your TV using a standard composite video cable (NotIncluded). Besure to select the correct videoinput on your TV.

LineIn/AuxInConnection
The CavallinoGT1 also offers the ability to allowother portable audiodevices such as iPod shuffle, MP3, MiniDisc and
Portable CD Players tobeconnected for useas a speaker system via theAux In input.
The AUX INsocket accepts a 3.5mm stereo cable plug.
1. Using theappropriate stereo cable,connect your audiodevice to the AUX INinput.
Note:A device must be plugged into the AUX IN connector inorder to select the AUX source.
2. Select the AUX source by pressing the ‘Power/Pairing’ buttonon the GT1 or the by the ‘source button’ on the
remote control, SourceIndicator will illuminate GREEN.
3. Turn on theaudiodevice connected andpress play on yourdevice.
4. Set the volume of the device connected to 50% volume.
5. Use theUp/Downvolumecontrols on the CavallinoGT1 /remote control toadjustto thecorrect listening
volume.
Note:The Cavallino GT1 remote control will not control devices connected to AUX IN.
ChargingyourdevicewithUSBport
The USB port at the bottom ofthe Cavallino GT1 provides a 5V 2.1A power output via aUSBtype ‘A’
Note:The USBcanonlyprovide amaximum power of 5v2.1A, do not exceedthis voltageor current asit may
cause damagetoyourCavallinoGT1or device.

Careandmaintenance
•To cleanthe exterior surface of your product, you can wipe itusing asoft, dry lint free cloth.
•Do not use solvents,chemicals, or sprays as thismay damage the external surfaces andinternal components
•Do not allow liquids to spill or objects to drop intoany openings.
•Avoidproducts that are abrasive, or contain acid, alkali or anti-bacterial agents.
Troubleshooting
SoundCheck
For the best iPod, iPhone andiPhone listening experience with the CavallinoGT1, please activate iTunes Sound
Check. SoundCheck standardizes thevolumeofall the songs in your music library. TheCavallinoGT1 is specially
designedto provideapowerful but safe listening experience withSoundCheck activated. Learn more about iTunes

Problem What Should Ido?
Cavallino GT1 does not turn ON
Check the AC Power Cable is connected firmly intothe Cavallino GT1 andinto the
AC wall outlet andswitched ON
Ensure the Cavallino GT1 Power Switch isturned ON
No sound
Ensure the correct source input is selected.
Check the play status onthe connected device.
Please try updating the software for your iPod using the latest iTunes which is
available fromApple.com
Remote Control is not working Replace Battery
Check the batteries are inserted correctly
No Picture
Check your Composite connection is connected correctly.
Check your iPodisset to TV out (refer to youriPod manual for settings)
Ensure you have selected the correct input channelon your TV

5. Do not use this apparatus nearwater or moisture –Do not use this product near abathtub, washbowl, kitchen
sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement, near a swimming pool or anywhereelse that wateris present.

7. Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning.

BATTERYINFORMATION
•Keep batteries out of thereach of children andpets.
•If the battery begins to leak, donot allow the liquid to comein contact with your skin or eyes. If contact has been
made,washthe affected areawith plenty of water and seek medical advice immediately.
•Do not expose the product or battery to excessive heat, including direct sunlight or fire andstorage or use inside
cars in hot weather, whereit can beexposedto temperaturesin excess of 140°F(60°C). Doing somay cause the
battery andpower supply to generate heat, ruptures, or ignites.
•Using theproduct in this manner alsomay result in a loss of performanceand a shortenedlife expectancy.
•If the battery is damagedandignites, donot use water toextinguish flames.Instead,use afunctioning fire
extinguisher.
•Do not step on, throw, or dropbatteries or the power supply or expose them to astrongshock. Do not pierce,
crush, dent, or deformthe batteries or power supply in any way. Ifeither becomes deformed, properly dispose of
