1 GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS
Risks associated with the use of the LED torch
Each person who is in charge of the use and maintenance of the torch, must carefully read
this manual, and in particular this chapter with information about safety, in order to acquire
full knowledge of the device.
1.1 Precautions regarding batteries and recharging
Risks associated with the battery and/or with recharging
Use only the AC battery charger supplied with the device and specified by FERVI. Using
other cables or AC adapters may result in electric shock or fire.
Make sure that the power supply used for recharging meets the requirements for
voltage and frequency required by the device.
The use of different types of power supplies may cause an electric shock, as well as fire
or damage to the device.
NEVER use batteries other than those specified.
NEVER put the batteries near heat, immerse them in water or put them in a fire, which
could cause an explosion or damage.
DO NOT use or recharge the battery in the following conditions:
oIn the presence of flammable gases, such as hydrocarbon vapours, solvents,
spray paints, etc.
oIn the event the torch is wet or contaminated by other liquids;
NEVER use leaking batteries. Using leaking batteries can result in fire or malfunction.
Remove the batteries when the unit is not being used for a long period of time.
