Before starting any operation it is compulsory to read this instruction manual. The guarantee
of smooth operation and full performance of the device is highly dependent on the application
of all the instructions contained in this manual.
Operator Qualification
The workers responsible for using this object must have all the necessary information,
education and receive adequate training regarding safety, including:
a) The conditions of use of the equipment;
b) Foreseeable abnormal situations, pursuant to Article 73 of Legislative Decree
81/08.
We guarantee the product's conformity to specifications and technical instructions
described in the Manual on the date of issue, listed on this page; however, the device
may be subject to potentially major technical changes in the future, without the
Manual being updated.
Therefore, see FERVI for information about modifications that could be implemented.

1 GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS
Risks associated with the use of the LED torch
Each person who is in charge of the use and maintenance of the torch, must carefully read
this manual, and in particular this chapter with information about safety, in order to acquire
full knowledge of the device.
1.1 Precautions regarding batteries and recharging
Risks associated with the battery and/or with recharging
Use only the AC battery charger supplied with the device and specified by FERVI. Using
other cables or AC adapters may result in electric shock or fire.
Make sure that the power supply used for recharging meets the requirements for
voltage and frequency required by the device.
The use of different types of power supplies may cause an electric shock, as well as fire
or damage to the device.
NEVER use batteries other than those specified.
NEVER put the batteries near heat, immerse them in water or put them in a fire, which
could cause an explosion or damage.
DO NOT use or recharge the battery in the following conditions:
oIn the presence of flammable gases, such as hydrocarbon vapours, solvents,
spray paints, etc.
oIn the event the torch is wet or contaminated by other liquids;
NEVER use leaking batteries. Using leaking batteries can result in fire or malfunction.
Remove the batteries when the unit is not being used for a long period of time.

1.2 Precautions regarding the use of the torch

ALWAYS turn off the torch when it is unused.
NEVER look directly at the torch or point it at someone's eyes, when it is turned on.
If water comes into contact with the unit, switch it off immediately and contact
Technical Support as soon as possible.
Using the device disassembled may cause an electric shock.
Regrading the repair of the equipment contact Technical Support.
1.3 Precautions regarding cleaning
Risks associated with cleaning
Plastic materials are used in some parts of the torch. Applying organic solvents (such as
benzene), or other chemicals for cleaning may cause deformation or discolouration.
Clean the device gently, using a soft dry cloth.

For any problems or concerns, please contact, without hesitation, the dealer from whom you
purchased the torch, who has competent and specialised staff, specific equipment and spare
parts.

2 CHARACTERISTICS
This product is manufactured in aluminium; it is resistant to water splashes and uses 3
Watt LEDs that can last up to 100,000 hours.
The product is powered by 3 AAA batteries or by a 18650 rechargeable battery
(1800mA), the charger is easy to carry.
The light beam can be adjusted, by rotating the ring which is located on the head of
the product.
By pressing the button on the base three different beams of light can be obtained: with
the first press an intense beam of light is obtained, with the second press the intensity
decreases and with the third press the light is intermittent, which can be used when
signalling for attention.
3 BATTERIES
To insert the batteries in the torch, unscrew the base, remove the battery holder and insert 3
AAA batteries according to the direction of "+" and "-", or one 18650 battery, again according
to the correct direction.
To charge the batteries, unscrew the base of the torch, remove the 18650 battery and insert
it into the charger, checking the "+" and "-" direction. Connect the charger to the mains.
When the light on the charger is red, this indicates that the battery is charging and when it is
green, it indicates that the charge has been completed.
