Before starting any operation it is compulsory to read this instruction manual. The guarantee
of smooth operation and full performance of the machine is highly dependent on the
application of all the instructions contained in this manual.
Operator qualifications
The workers responsible for using this tool must have all the necessary information,
education and receive adequate training regarding safety, including:
a)
Conditions of use for the equipment;
b)
Foreseeable abnormal situations, pur
suant to Article 73 of Legislative Decree
81/08.
We guarantee the product's conformity to specifications and technical instructions
described in the Manual on the date of issue, listed on this page; however, the
machine may be subject to potentially maj
or technical changes in the future, without
the Manual being updated.
Therefore, contact FERVI for information about modifications that may have been
implemented.

GENERAL SAFETY INSTR
UCTIONS
1.1
Commissioning
Before using this airbr
ush, some simple assembly is required.
To properly assemble the airbrush, proceed as follows:
1.
Screw on the compressed air connection and tighten it
firmly using a wrench for hex nuts.

Screw on the pai
nt feed unit via the threaded hole,
located under the paint outlet nozzle and tighten it
firmly, with the aid of a wrench for hex nuts.

The spray gun is equipped with a cup with
bayonet lock,
it is therefore necessary to fit the pins (A) located on
the cup into the slots (B) of the feed unit, and then lock
the cup by means of the lever (C), in this way, it will be
perfectly sealed.
During the attachment of the cup, check that the
seal
remains in place.

How to Use the Airbrush
The minimum operating pressure is 0.2
–
0.3 Mpa.
Adjust the amount of paint and air released from the nozzle using the adjustmen
t screws.

Air outlet adjustments
To begin painting, simply aim the airbrush at the element to be painted, keeping it at a
distance of 150
-
200 mm from the surface and press the trigger. While painting, move th
e
airbrush from side to side to distribute the paint as evenly as possible.
Do not point the spray at people or animals.
If the paint is not evenly distributed, adjust the amount of air/paint.
To stop the spray of paint, simply release the trigger.


The solvents and paints can be highly flammable.

Use the airbrush in well ventilated areas.

Do not smoke or use an open flame when using the airbrush.

Do not use solvents that may cause a chemical reaction with the aluminium and zin
c
with which the gun and trigger are built that could lead to an explosion.

Personal Protective Equipment
When using the airbrush, wear protective eye wear, a mask (suitable for painting operations),
gloves and suitable clothing for the painting operatio
n.

IMPROPER USE AND CON
TRAINDICATIONS
IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN!

To use the airbrush for purposes other than those for which it was intended.

To use the airbrush in areas that c
arry a risk of fire or explosion.

To use solvents that may create a chemical reaction with the aluminium and zinc.

To lock the power lever in the open position.

To use the airbrush without the proper use of appropriate PPE.

To use the airbrush in the prese
nce of children.

To point the spray of the airbrush at people and/or animals.

To smoke while using the airbrush

MAINTENANCE AND CLEA
NING
The compressed air connection must be kept clean and dry.
The paint outlet nozzle and all moving parts should be clea
ned thoroughly after each time the
airbrush is used.
To clean, we recommend using a solvent and the brush supplied to remove paint residue and
thoroughly clean the nozzle.
Once you have finished cleaning with the solvent, rinse the parts with clean water a
nd dry
thoroughly with a dry cloth.
Used nozzles must be replaced with equivalent nozzles.
Contact the Dealer's Customer Service Centre where you purchased the items to order spare
parts.
