2 안전 수칙
2.1 전동 공구 관련 일반 안전 수칙
경고! 전동 공구에 해당되는 모든 안전 수
칙, 지침, 그림 및 기술 자료를 숙지하십시
오.다음 지침을 준수하지 않으면 전기 쇼크, 화재
및/또는 심각한 상해가 야기될 수 있습니다.
모든 안전 수칙 및 지침은 언제든지 참조할 수 있
도록 잘 보관하십시오.
본 안전 수칙에서 사용되는 '전동 공구'는 (전선
을 통해) 전기 동력을 얻는 공구와 (전선 없이) 배
터리에서 전기 동력을 얻는 공구를 말합니다.
1 작업장 안전
a. 작업장을 잘 정돈하고, 밝은 조명을 사용하
십시오. 정리정돈 상태가 불량하거나 조명이
어두운 작업장에서는 사고가 발생할 수 있습
니다.
b. 가연성 액체, 기체 또는 분진이 있어 폭발 위
험이 있는 작업장에서는 전동 공구를 사용하
지 마십시오.전동 공구에서 발생하는 불꽃으
로 인해 분진 또는 가연성 기체가 발화할 수
있습니다.
c. 전동공구를 사용할 때, 어린이들이나 다른
사람들이 작업장에 접근하지 못하게 하십시
오.주위가 산만하면 전동 공구를 제대로 통
제하지 못할 수 있습니다.
2 전기 안전
a. 전동 공구의 커넥터 플러그를 소켓에 올바르
게 끼워야 합니다. 플러그를 어떤 식으로든
변형 해서는 안 됩니다. 접지된 전동 공구에
서 어댑터 플러그를 사용해서는 안 됩니다.
변형되지 않은플러그와 호환되는 소켓을 사
용하면 감전 위험이 줄어듭니다.
b. 파이프, 히터, 전기/가스렌지, 냉장고 등의
접지 표면과 직접 접촉하면 안 됩니다.신체
가 접지되면, 감전 위험이 높아집니다.
c. 전동 공구를 비나 습기에 노출시키지 마십시
오.전동 공구에 물이 들어가면 감전 위험이
높아집니다.
d. 연결 케이블로 전동 공구를 운반하거나 매달
아서는 안 되며, 연결선을 당기면서 소켓에
서 플러그를 빼면 안 됩니다. 연결 케이블이

에 노출되지 않도록 주의하십시오. 연결 케

장 케이블을 사용하면 감전 위험이 줄어듭니
다.
f. 습한 장소에서 전동 공구를 사용해야 하는
경우에는 누전 차단기를 사용하십시오.누전
차단기를 사용하면 감전 위험이 줄어듭니다.
3 작업자 안전
a. 전동 공구를 사용할 때는 주의하면서 작업에
집중하십시오. 피곤한 상태이거나 약물, 주
류 또는 의약품을 복용한 상태에서는 전동
공구를 사용하지 마십시오. 전동 공구를 사
용할 때는 한순간의 부주의가 심각한 상해를
초래할 수 있습니다.
b. 항상 개인 보호 장비와 보안경을 착용하십시
오.전동 공구의 유형과 작업 방식에 따라 부
상 방지를 위해 방진 마스크, 미끄럼 방지 안
전화, 안전모, 귀마개 등의 개인 보호 장비를
착용해야 부상 위험이 줄어듭니다.

c. 공구가 갑자기 작동하지 않도록 주의하십시
오. 전동 공구를 전원 공급 장치 또는 배터리
에 연결하거나, 집어 들거나 운반하려는 경
우에는 먼저 공구의 전원이 꺼져 있는지 확
인하십시오. 전동 공구를 운반할 때 손가락
이 스위치에 닿아 있거나 전동 공구가 켜진
상태에서 전원 공급 장치에 연결하면 사고가
발생할 수 있습니다.
d. 전동 공구를 켜려면 먼저 조정 도구 또는 렌
치를 분리하십시오.전동 공구의 회전부에 다
른 도구나 렌치가 있으면 부상이 발생할 수
있습니다.
e. 불안정한 자세로 작업하지 않도록 주의하십
시오. 항상 안정적으로 선 자세에서 평형을
유지하십시오. 자세가 안정적이면 예상치 못
한 상황에서도 전동 공구를 효과적으로 통제
할 수 있습니다.
f. 작업에 적합한 보호복을 착용하십시오. 너무
헐렁한 복장이나 장신구를 착용해서는 안 됩
니다. 작동부에 머리카락 또는 옷이 닿지 않
도록 주의하십시오. 헐렁한 옷, 장신구 또는
긴 머리카락은 회전 부분에 말려 들어갈 수
있습니다.
g. 집진기 및 분진 수거 장치를 설치할 수 있는
경우, 올바르게 연결한 후 사용해야 합니다.
집진기를 사용하면 분진에 의한 사고 발생을
줄일 수 있습니다.
h. 안전 수칙을 무시해서는 안 됩니다. 전동 공
구를 여러 번 사용해서 잘 알고 있는 경우에
도 반드시 안전 사용 규칙을 따르시기 바랍
니다.한순간의 부주의가 심각한 상해를 초래
할 수 있습니다.
4 전동 공구의 사용 및 작동 방법
a. 전동 공구를 과부하 상태로 사용하지 마십시
오. 원래의 작업 용도로만 전동 공구를 사용
하십시오.호환이 가능한 전동 공구를 사용하
면 작업 효율이 향상되며 지정된 전원 범위
에서 더욱 안전하게 작업할 수 있습니다.
b. 스위치가 제대로 작동하지 않는 전동 공구는
사용하지 마십시오.정상적으로 켜거나 끌 수
없는 전동 공구는 위험하므로 수리해야 합니
다.
c. 기기의 설정을 변경하거나, 공구 비트를 교
체하거나, 전동 공구를 사용하지 않고 옆에
내려 놓으려면 먼저 소켓에서 플러그를 뽑으
십시오. 배터리가 탈착식이면 배터리를 분리
하십시오.이와 같이 조치하면 전동 공구가
갑자기 작동하는 사고를 예방할 수 있습니
다.
d. 사용하지 않는 전동 공구는 어린이의 손이
닿지 않는 곳에 보관하십시오. 공구 사용에
익숙하지 않거나 본 설명서를 숙지하지 않은
사람이 전동 공구를 사용하는 일이 없도록

e. 전동 공구와 공구 비트를 주의해서 관리하십

지 않도록 보관하십시오.배터리 접점 사이에
서 단락이 발생하면 연소 또는 화재가 일어
날 수 있습니다.
d. 배터리를 올바르게 사용하지 않으면 배터리
액이 새어나올 수 있습니다. 흘러나온 액체
와의 접촉을 피하십시오. 의도치 않게 배터
리액과 접촉한 경우 물로 씻어내십시오. 배
터리액이 눈에 들어간 경우, 의사의 진료를
받으십시오.배터리액이 신체에 묻으면 피부
장애나 화상이 발생할 수 있습니다.
e. 손상되거나 변형된 배터리는 사용하지 마십
시오.손상되거나 변형된 배터리는 예기치 못
한 상황을 야기하여 화재, 폭발 및 상해 사고
를 발생시킬 수 있습니다.
f. 배터리를 화기 또는 고열에 노출시키지 마십
시오.배터리가 130 °C를 넘는 화기 또는 온
도에 노출되면 폭발할 수 있습니다.
g. 충전과 관련된 모든 수칙을 따르고, 사용 설
명서에 명시된 온도 범위를 초과하는 환경에
서는 배터리 또는 충전 공구를 절대 충전하

지 마십시오.잘못된 방식으로 충전하거나 허
용된 범위 이외의 온도에서 충전하면 배터리
가 파손되고 발화될 수 있습니다.
6 서비스
a. 공인된 전문가에게 전동 공구의 수리를 의뢰
하고 정식 부품을 사용하십시오. 이와 같이
관리해야 전동 공구를 안전하게 사용할 수
있습니다.
b. 파손된 배터리를 직접 수리하지 마십시오.배
터리의 수리는 작업은 제조사 또는 권한을
위임받은 고객 서비스센터에서만 진행해야
합니다.
c. 수리 및 유지보수 작업 시에는 정품만 사용
하십시오. 호환이 되지 않는 액세서리 또는
부품을 사용하면 감전 등의 상해 사고가 발
생할 수 있습니다.

오.
2.2 충전 임팩트 드라이브의 기기별 안전 지침
–작업할 때 눈에 보이지 않는 전기 케이블이
나 연결선에 스크류가 닿을 수도 있는 경우,
전동 공구는 절연된 손잡이 면으로만 잡으십
시오. 전압이 흐르는 전선과 나사가 접촉할
경우, 공구의 금속 부품에도 전압이 흘러 전
기 쇼크가 발생할 수 있습니다.
–탐지기를 이용해 작업 장소에 숨겨진 전선이
있는지 확인하거나 또는 현지 전기 공급업체
에 문의하십시오. 공구 비트가 전압이 흐르
는 전선과 접촉하면 화재 및 전기 쇼크가 발
생할 수 있습니다. 가스관이 손상되면 폭발
이 일어날 수 있습니다. 수도관에 유입되면
물적 피해가 발생할 수 있습니다.
–
적합한 개인 보호 장비를 착용하십시오. 귀
마개 및 보안경.
–전동 공구를 손으로 단단히 잡으십시오. 스
크류 드라이빙의 회전속도를 올바르게 설정
하십시오. 전동 공구로 작업을 할 때, 상당한
반동력이 발생할 수 있음에 대비하십시오.
–전동 공구는 비가 오거나 습한 환경에서 사
용해서는 안 됩니다. 전동 공구의 습기는 단
락 및 화재 발생으로 이어질 수 있습니다.
–전동 공구를 내려놓기 전에 공구가 작동을
멈출 때까지 기다리십시오. 전동 공구가 걸
려서 공구에 대한 통제력을 잃을 수도 있습
니다.
–실수로 전원이 켜지지 않도록 주의하십시오.
손가락을 전원 스위치에 놓고 전동 공구를
옮길 경우 사고가 발생할 수 있습니다.
전동 공구를 사용하지 않을 때는 정회전/역
회전 스위치 [1-8]를 중간 위치에 두고 전원
스위치를 잠그십시오.
–충전 전동 공구 작동 시 파워 어댑터나 외부
배터리팩을 사용하지 마십시오. 배터리팩 충
전 시 외부 충전기를 사용하지 마십시오. 제
조사가 지정하지 않은 액세서리를 사용하는
경우 전기 쇼크 및/또는 심각한 사고가 발생
할 수 있습니다.
–Festool이 본 전동 공구에 대해 승인한 공구
비트와 액세서리만 사용하십시오. 승인되지
않은 공구 비트나 액세서리를 사용할 경우
상해 위험과 불균형이 초래될 수 있습니다.
이 경우 작업 결과의 품질이 나빠지고 공구
장비의 마모가 증가할 수 있습니다.

3 기본 용도
충전 임팩트 드라이버는 금속, 목재, 플라스틱 등
의 소재에 제시된 최대 치수 범위 내 스크류를 삽
입하고 고정하는 용도로 사용됩니다.
셀프 태핑 나사는 금속에 사용할 수 있습니다.
회전속도와 토크는 직접적인 관계가 있음에 유의
하십시오. 즉, 회전속도가 낮을수록 토크가 낮아
집니다.

6 최초 작동
6.1 벨트 클립 [1-10]
벨트 클립은 짧은 시간 동안 작업복에 공구를 고
정시킬 때 사용됩니다. 장착은 공구의 좌측 또는

7.1 배터리 교체하기 [2]
► 두 버튼을 동시에 누르고 [1-1] 배터리팩을
앞으로 빼내십시오.
► 충전이 완료된 새 배터리팩을 전동 공구의 밑
부분까지 밀어넣고 고정시키십시오.
배터리팩을 충전할 때는 충전기에 첨부된 지침서

8.1 회전 방향 변경하기 [1-8]

8.2 회전속도/임팩트 수 설정
공구를 켜면 마지막으로 선택했던 기어 단/작동
모드에 자동으로 위치합니다.
셀프 태핑 나사를 사용할 때는 T 모드가 적합합
니다.
► 기어 단/작동 모드를 변경할 때는 기어 단 스
위치 [1-5]를 반복해서 누릅니다.

사전 테스트 스크류 드라이빙을 통해 적합한

8.3 T 모드
크기가 작은 셀프 태핑 나사(< 5 x 20 mm)를 목재
하부구조의 박판에 삽입하기 위한 작동 모드. 박
판을 뚫은 후 안전한 스크류 드라이빙을 위해 회
전속도가 자동으로 줄어듭니다.

9.1 호환되는 액세서리

2 Safety warnings
2.1 General power tool safety warnings
WARNING! Read all safety warnings, in
structions, illustrations and specifica
tions provided with this power tool. Failure to
follow all instructions listed below may result in
electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future
reference.
The term "power tool" in the warnings refers to
your mains-operated (corded) power tool or
battery-operated (cordless) power tool.
1 WORK AREA SAFETY
a. Keep work area clean and well lit. Clut
tered or dark areas invite accidents.
b. Do not operate power tools in explosive
atmospheres, such as in the presence of
flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power
tools create sparks which may ignite the
dust or fumes.
c. Keep children and bystanders away while
operating a power tool. Distractions can
cause you to lose control.
2 ELECTRICAL SAFETY
a. Power tool plugs must match the outlet.
Never modify the plug in any way. Do not
use any adapter plugs with earthed
(grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs
and matching outlets will reduce risk of
electric shock.
b. Avoid body contact with earthed or groun
ded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators,
ranges and refrigerators. There is an in
creased risk of electric shock if your body
is earthed or grounded.
c. Do not expose power tools to rain or wet
conditions. Water entering a power tool will
increase the risk of electric shock.
d. Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord
for carrying, pulling or unplugging the
power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil,
sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or
entangled cords increase the risk of elec
tric shock.
e. When operating a power tool outdoors,
use an extension cord suitable for outdoor
use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use
reduces the risk of electric shock.
f. If operating a power tool in a damp loca
tion is unavoidable, use a residual current
device (RCD) protected supply. Use of an
RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.

3 PERSONAL SAFETY
a. Stay alert, watch what you are doing and
use common sense when operating a pow
er tool. Do not use a power tool while you
are tired or under the influence of drugs,
alcohol or medication. A moment of inat
tention while operating power tools may re
sult in serious personal injury.
b. Use personal protective equipment. Al
ways wear eye protection. Protective
equipment such as a dust mask, non-skid
safety shoes, hard hat or hearing protection
used for appropriate conditions will reduce
personal injuries.
c. Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the
switch is in the off-position before con
necting to power source and/or battery
pack, picking up or carrying the tool. Car
rying power tools with your finger on the
switch or energising power tools that have
the switch on invites accidents.
d. Remove any adjusting key or wrench be
fore turning the power tool on. A wrench
or a key left attached to a rotating part of
the power tool may result in personal in
jury.
e. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and
balance at all times. This enables better
control of the power tool in unexpected sit
uations.
f. Dress properly. Do not wear loose cloth
ing or jewellery. Keep your hair and cloth
ing away from moving parts. Loose
clothes, jewellery or long hair can be
caught in moving parts.
g. If devices are provided for the connection
of dust extraction and collection facilities,
ensure these are connected and properly
used. Use of dust collection can reduce
dust-related hazards.
h. Do not let familiarity gained from frequent
use of tools allow you to become compla
cent and ignore tool safety principles. A
careless action can cause severe injury
within a fraction of a second.
4 POWER TOOL USE AND CARE
a. Do not force the power tool. Use the cor
rect power tool for your application. The
correct power tool will do the job better and
safer at the rate for which it was designed.
b. Do not use the power tool if the switch
does not turn it on and off. Any power tool
that cannot be controlled with the switch is
dangerous and must be repaired.
c. Disconnect the plug from the power
source and/or remove the battery pack, if
detachable, from the power tool before
making any adjustments, changing acces
sories, or storing power tools. Such pre
ventive safety measures reduce the risk of
starting the power tool accidentally.
d. Store idle power tools out of the reach of
children and do not allow persons unfami
liar with the power tool or these instruc
tions to operate the power tool. Power
tools are dangerous in the hands of un
trained users.
e. Maintain power tools and accessories.
Check for misalignment or binding of mov
ing parts, breakage of parts and any other
condition that may affect the power tool’s
operation. If damaged, have the power
tool repaired before use. Many accidents
are caused by poorly maintained power
tools.
f. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Prop
erly maintained cutting tools with sharp
cutting edges are less likely to bind and are
easier to control.
g. Use the power tool, accessories and tool
bits etc. in accordance with these instruc
tions, taking into account the working con
ditions and the work to be performed. Use
of the power tool for operations different
from those intended could result in a haz
ardous situation.
h. Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry,
clean and free from oil and grease. Slip
pery handles and grasping surfaces do not
allow for safe handling and control of the
tool in unexpected situations.
5 BATTERY TOOL USE AND CARE
a. Recharge only with the charger specified
by the manufacturer. A charger that is
suitable for one type of battery pack may
create a risk of fire when used with another
battery pack.
b. Use power tools only with specifically des
ignated battery packs. Use of any other
battery packs may create a risk of injury
and fire.
c. When battery pack is not in use, keep it
away from other metal objects, like paper
clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other
small metal objects, that can make a con
nection from one terminal to another.
Shorting the battery terminals together
may cause burns or a fire.

d. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be
ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If
contact accidentally occurs, flush with wa
ter. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally
seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the
battery may cause irritation or burns.
e. Do not use a battery pack or tool that is
damaged or modified. Damaged or modi
fied batteries may exhibit unpredictable be
haviour resulting in fire, explosion or risk of
injury.
f. Do not expose a battery pack or tool to fire
or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire
or temperature above 130 °C (265 °F) may
cause explosion.
g. Follow all charging instructions and do not
charge the battery pack or tool outside the
temperature range specified in the in
structions. Charging improperly or at tem
peratures outside the specified range may
damage the battery and increase the risk of
fire.
6 SERVICE
a. Have your power tool serviced by a quali
fied repair person using only identical re
placement parts. This will ensure that the
safety of the power tool is maintained.
b. Never service damaged battery packs.
Service of battery packs should only be
performed by the manufacturer or author
ized service providers.
c. Only use original Festool parts for repair
and maintenance. The use of incompatible
accessories or spare parts can result in
electric shocks or other injuries.
Follow the operating manual for the charger
and the battery pack.
2.2 Tool-specific safety instructions for
cordless impact screwdriver
–Hold the power tool by insulated gripping
surfaces, when performing an operation
where the cutting accessory may contact
hidden wiring. Autting accessory contact
ing a "live" wire may make exposed metal
parts of the power tool "live" and could give
the operator an electric shock.
–Use appropriate detection devices to look
for any hidden supply lines or consult your
local utility company. If the insertion tool
makes contact with live cables, it can result
in fire and electric shock. Damage to a gas
pipe can lead to an explosion. Penetration
of a water pipe can result in damage to
property.
–
Wear suitable personal protective equip
ment: Ear protection and safety goggles.
–Hold the power tool firmly in your hand.
Make sure the speed is adjusted correctly
when screwdriving. Be prepared for high
reaction torque, which can arise when
working with the power tool.
–Do not use the power tool in the rain or in
damp surroundings. Moisture in the power
tool may cause a short circuit and burning.
–Wait until the power tool has come to a
complete halt before placing it down. The
insertion tool can get caught and lead to a
loss of control of the power tool.
–Avoid unintentional activation. Carrying
the electric power tool with your fingers on
the on/off switch can lead to accidents.
If you are not using the power tool, set the
rotational direction switch/safety lock [1-8]
to the centre position to lock the on/off
switch.
–Do not use power supply units or third-
party battery packs to operate cordless
power tools. Do not use third-party charg
ers to charge the battery packs. The use of
accessories not expressly authorised by the
manufacturer can result in electric shocks
and/or serious accidents.
–Only use tools and accessories approved
by Festool for this power tool. The use of
non-approved tools or accessories may in
crease the risk of injury and cause serious
ly unbalance the machine. This can worsen
the quality of the working results and in
crease the wear of the machine.

The specified emission levels (vibration, noise)
– are used to compare machines.
– They are also used for making preliminary
estimates regarding vibration and noise
load during operation.
– They represent the primary applications of
the power tool.
CAUTION
The emission values may deviate from the
specified values. This is dependent on how
the tool is used and the type of workpiece
being machined.
► The actual load during the entire operating
cycle must be evaluated.
► Depending on the actual load, suitable pro
tective measures must be defined in order
to protect the operator.
3 Intended use
This cordless impact screwdriver is intended
for driving in and tightening screws up to the
specified maximum dimensions in metal, wood,
plastics and similar materials.
Self-tapping drill screws are intended for use in
metal.
It must be noted that speed is directly connec
ted to torque. This means: The lower the speed,
the lower the torque.
This power tool is intended for use with
BP Festool battery packs of the same voltage
class.
The user is liable for damage and acci
dents caused by improper and non-inten
ded use; this also includes damage and wear
caused by continuous industrial operation.

6 Commissioning
6.1 Belt clip [1-10]
The belt clip allows the tool to be attached to
work attire for brief periods. It can be attached
to the right or left of the tool using a screw [1a].

6.2 Switching on/off [1-6]

CAUTION

► Do not look directly into the LED light. [4]
The LED light [1-4] lights up when the on/off
switch [1-6] is pressed.
Set the rotational direction switch/safety lock
[1-8] to the centre position to lock the on/off
switch.
7 Battery pack
7.1 Changing the battery pack [2]
► Press both buttons at the same time [1-1]
and pull the battery pack forwards and out
of the device.
► Insert the new, fully charged battery pack
so that it clicks into place on the bottom of
the tool.
Follow the instructions enclosed with the
charger in order to charge the battery pack.
7.2 Capacity indicator
The capacity display [1-3] indicates the charge
of the battery pack for approx. 2 seconds after
the button [1-2] is pressed:
70–100%
40–70%
15–40%
< 15%*
* Recommendation: Charge the battery pack
before any further use.

8 Settings
CAUTION

► Only adjust the settings when the power
tool is switched off.
8.1 Changing direction of rotation [1-8]
– Switch to the left = clockwise rotation
– Switch to the right = counterclockwise rota
tion
8.2 Setting the speed/stroke rate
Once it has been switched on, the tool will auto
matically revert to the gear/mode that was last
selected.
The T-mode is recommended when using self-
tapping drill screws.
► Press the gear switch [1-5] as many times
as necessary to select the desired gear/
mode.
One speed LED is lit
= 1st gear
Two speed LEDs are lit
= 2nd gear
Three speed LEDs are lit
= 3rd gear
T-mode LED is lit
= T-mode
Drive in some test screws first to check the
correct gear setting.
8.3 T-mode
Operating mode for driving small self-tapping
drill screws (< 5 x 20 mm) into sheet metal with
wooden substructures. After drilling through
the sheet metal, the speed is automatically re
duced to enable safe screwdriving.

► Allow to cool before attaching to belt clip.
10.1 Bit store [1-9]
WARNING
Risk of injury from metal cuttings in the bit
store.
► Clean the bit store regularly and clear out
metal cuttings.

10.2 Acoustic warning signal
Acoustic warning signals sound and the tool
switches off in the following operating states:
Battery empty/incompatible
or tool overloaded.
– Charge/change the bat
tery.
– Reduce the load on the
tool.
When pressing the on/off
switch. Tool has overheated.
– Once it has cooled down,
restart the tool.
Tool is faulty.
– Contact the manufacturer
to rectify the fault.
