INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLING THE
ffuussTM eos HAND DRYER ON THE WALL
Important safety information. Read before
proceeding.
The installation and electrical wiring work must
be undertaken by a qualified person or persons in
accordance with all applicable codes and standards,
including fire prevention.
The USER MANUAL can be downloaded from our
website.
WARNING:
To ensure the correct functioning of the
ffuussTM eos hand dryer:
After installing the unit or each time the unit is
restarted after an electrical disconnection, an
automatic calibration of the capacitive sensors
is performed which lasts for 6 minutes. In order
that this calibration is performed correctly, the unit
should not be handled, activated or any object be
brought close to its near vicinity, during this time.
WARNING:
Before starting any installation work,
you must check the following:
The installation must be designed to be able to
disconnect the device with a disconnection element
separating all the contact points by at least 3mm.
Make sure the electricity supply has been
disconnected or turned off before starting
installation to avoid electrocution or electric shock.
Make sure there are no pipes (gas, water, air) electric
cables, wires or ducts directly behind the drilling
areas.
Before accessing the interior of the device, make
sure you disconnect the power.
WARNING:
Risk of electric shock!
Do not remove the cover or attempt to repair
unless qualified personnel are servicing the unit.
If the cover is removed or handled incorrectly,
the internal elements of the ffuussTM eos hand
dryer may cause damage or become permanently
damaged.
WARNING:
In order to avoid the risk of fire or
electric shock, do not expose the
elements and the internal mechanisms of
this unit to rain or humidity.
Check the power supply matches the specifications
on the plate located in the back of the unit.
If this unit is connected to any power supply
different to the one specified on the specifications
plate of the unit, this may result in permanent
damage to or the unsafe and incorrect functioning
of the ffuussTM eos hand dryer.
All wiring and electrical work must be performed
by a qualified electrician in accordance with the
rules and applicable federal, state and local laws,
including fire prevention.
According to local wiring regulations, a system for
disconnecting the poles in the fixed wiring of the
device should exist.
These instructions must be read carefully before
trying to install the ffuussTM eos hand dryer.
Not following the installation instructions exactly
may result in the malfunction of the ffuussTM eos
hand dryer, damage to property or even personal
injury.
ffuussTM shall not be liable for property damage
or personal injury that may result from failure to
comply with these instructions.
Not following these instructions will void this
product’s warranty. See the user section for
warranty details.
WARNING
Safety and use:
Children over 8 years can use this hand dryer
ffuussTM, as well as people having reduced
capabilities (physical, sensorial, mental) but only
in the case they had received proper surveillance
and training on the use of the equipment, in order
to make them understand what is the safe use of
the hand dryer ffuussTM and its potential dangers.
Children should always be under the supervision
of an adult to avoid them playing with the device.
An adult must do cleaning and maintenance of the
equipment and it is forbidden to the children.
This equipment has been designed for efficient and
quick hand drying. Do not attempt to dry any other
part of the body.
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock
or personal injury, follow the steps
detailed below:
1- Use this unit only as instructed by the
manufacturer. If in doubt, contact the manufacturer.
2- Before cleaning or servicing the unit, make sure
the power supply is cut by disconnecting the fixed
wiring to the ffuussTM eos hand dryer to ensure
the machine is not switched on accidentally or to
avoid an electric shock that may occur during its
repair or maintenance.
3- Any installation or wiring work must be
undertaken by qualified personnel in accordance
with the codes and standards in force.
4- When cutting or drilling into the wall, do not
damage the electrical wiring or other hidden
services.

GENERAL NOTES
The instructions included in the attached installation
manual must be followed carefully when installing a
ffuussTM eos hand dryer.
ffuussTM will not be liable for any damage to property
or personal injury or death resulting from non-
compliance with the instructions contained herein
and in the installation manual.
Make sure your ffuussTM eos hand dryer works
properly before allowing the public to use it.
Do not use the ffuussTM eos hand dryer for any
purpose other than drying hands.
Using authentic ffuussTM spare parts can extend the
correct and safe functioning of your unit.
WARNING:
In order to create a safe environment for
visually impaired customers, fixtures must be
detectable with a cane. The diagram highlights this
requirement.
ADA guidelines state that fixtures above 27” (685
mm) must not protrude from the wall more than 4”
(100 mm). A low fixture such as a waste receptacle
can satisfy this requirement if it is detectable
below the protruding fixture (usually hand dryers
or towel dispensers).
Keep in mind that it’s always important to double
check the requirements with local laws, as these
supersede Federal requirements.
HOW TO USE
Place your hands in the drying area of the ffuussTM
hand dryer to activate the operation and the air
outlet. Leave your hands in the drying area until the
end of the cycle.
CLEANING THE DEVICE.
Surfaces.
Only clean the surfaces of the ffuussTM eos hand
dryer with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive or
caustic products.
TROUBLESHOOTING.
Important: turn off the electrical supply to the ffuussTM before servicing it.

Problem Action If the problems persist
The ffuussTM hand dryer does not
start.
Make sure the ffuussTM hand dryer and
the wiring are properly connected. If not
properly connected, contact the installer.

The ffuussTM hand dryer starts and
turns off erroneously.
Check that there are no obstructions or
barriers in the drying cavity. If there are,
withdraw them.
Sometimes the ffuussTM hand dryer
turns off when it is in use and then
starts again after a while.
Proceed to reinitiate the dryer
disconnecting it from the electrical
supply. Once it is plugged in again, wait for
6 minutes before using it.
The ffuussTM hand dryer continues
to function after hands have been
removed.
A 2 second delay after hands have been
removed is acceptable.
The ffuussTM hand dryer is not
drying hands properly.
Verify and clean any obstructions in
the inlet and monitor the state of the
HEPA filter. Follow the maintenance
recommendations
The ffuussTM hand dryer works only
for a couple of seconds and then it
turns off.
Check that there are no objects or
barriers in the drying cavity. If there are
withdraw them.
MAINTENANCE ADVISE
Air intake.
Regularly check the air intake at the base of the
ffuussTM hand dryer and make sure it is free of
dust, rubbish and other particles, if not, proceed to
clean it to free all the holes of possible dirt. If the
ffuussTM hand dryer has a HEPA filter H13, change it
when necessary or at least once a year. Also, make
sure that all surfaces of the ffuussTM hand dryer
are properly cleaned to maintain uninterrupted
operation.
TEST
Make sure that the ffuussTM eos hand dryer is
connected to the electrical supply. Once plugged
in wait for 6 minutes. Put your hands in the
drying area to start the air flow in the ffuussTM
eos hand dryer. Withdraw hands, and the unit will
automatically stop.

WARRANTY
Thank you for purchasing a ffuussTM product.
If you have any questions relating to your ffuussTM
eos hand dryer contact us at the following email
address: [e-mail]. Before contacting us,
please make sure you know your ffuussTM eos hand
dryer’s serial number and have a copy of your
purchase invoice. If you need the assistance of a
technician or spare parts, we will put you in touch
with a ffuussTM authorized dealer.
If your ffuussTM eos hand dryer is under warranty
and the repair is covered by it, ffuussTM will not
charge the owner of the unit for the spare part/s
for a period of 3 years. During the first year, ffuussTM
guarantees that the owner of the ffuussTM eos hand
dryer will not be charged for labour.
The owner of the ffuussTM eos hand dryer shall be
responsible for guaranteeing access to the product
for warranty repairs of the ffuussTM eos hand dryer.
All parts replaced by ffuussTM or its authorised
dealers during the first year will be owned by
ffuussTM. The warranty will not apply in cases of
problems caused by normal wear of the product, by
incorrect installation, by the use of the product for
purposes other than those indicated in the product
description and different from those foreseen at

3 YEARS LIMITED
WARRANTYON PARTS
All the original factory parts of your ffuussTM eos
hand dryer are guaranteed against material defects
and workmanship when used in accordance with
the User Manual, for a period of THREE years.
The THREE-year limited warranty on parts starts
on the date of purchase or on the date of delivery
(whichever takes place last).
Under this warranty, the owner of the unit must
provide proof of purchase in order to obtain parts
for repairs. Without this proof, the owner of the
ffuussTM eos hand dryer shall be responsible for the
payment of all spare parts supplied by ffuussTM or
its authorised dealers or services, at a general rate.
All standard spare parts can be replaced by ffuussTM
or its authorised dealers at an additional cost and
at general rates.
ADDITIONAL LIMITED WARRANTY ON
LABOUR DURING THE FIRST YEAR
This warranty become effectives on the date of
purchase of the ffuussTM eos hand dryer and ends after
ONE year.
It covers all the labour required to ensure the correct
functioning of the ffuussTM eos hand dryer at no extra
cost to the owner. Under this warranty all repairs must
be undertaken by ffuussTM or its authorised dealers.
All labour costs incurred from the replacement of
defective parts after the one-year limited warranty on
labour has expired are the sole responsibility of the
owner of the ffuussTM eos hand dryer.
ffuussTM shall NOT be responsible for:
• Costs incurred as a result of the purchase of a ffuussTM
eos hand dryer from a non-authorised dealer.
• Any damage (accidental or not) caused by negligent use
or misuse, negligence, incorrect use, incorrect repair or
maintenance of the unit, or not using the ffuussTM eos
hand dryer as per the User Manual.
• Using parts not in compliance with the User Manual of
the ffuussTM eos hand dryer.
• Obstructions other than those caused by the normal
use of water and soap. For other types of obstructions,
consult ffuussTM for technical advise.
• External causes such as rain, no electricity and electric
power overload.
• Repairs or modifications carried out by personnel NOT
authorised by ffuussTM.
• Problems that derive from the incorrect installation of
the unit.
• Use of parts or spare parts not supplied by ffuussTM or
its authorised dealers.
• Parts or spare parts not installed in accordance with
the ffuussTM instructions.
• Repairs or modifications not carried out by ffuussTM or
an authorised dealer.
• Problems caused by acts of God or circumstances
beyond the control of ffuussTM.

Before performing any service operation, the
warranty terms require that the serial number and
the date of purchase of the ffuussTM eos hand dryer
be reported beforehand.
OTHER WARRANTY LIMITATIONS AND
EXCLUSIONS
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and
you may have other rights that vary per country.
The ffuussTM warranties described herein are not
transferable.
PACKAGING
The packaging protects the product during its
transport and storage and is made of recyclable
materials. As soon as the packaging is no longer
needed, please dispose of it using the recycling
facilities in your community.
OLD UNITS
This product includes electrical parts and that is
why it has been marked with the symbol RAEE
(WEEE) according to European Standards. We
recommended you dispose this product according
to the regulations in your country. At time of
disposal, these parts need to be managed.

Información importante de seguridad. Lea antes

El trabajo de instalación y cableado eléctrico
debe ser realizado por una persona o personas
cualificadas, de acuerdo con todos los códigos y
normas vigentes, incluso la construcción evaluada
contra incendios.

ADVERTENCIA:
Para un correcto funcionamiento del
hand dryer ffuussTM:
Después de la instalación del aparato o
de cada puesta en marcha en caso de
paro por desconexión eléctrica, se realiza
automáticamente una calibración de los
sensores capacitivos que dura 6 minutos.
Para que esta calibración sea correcta, es necesario
no manipular ni acercar ningún objeto al aparato
durante ese tiempo establecido.
ADVERTENCIA:
Antes de comenzar con cualquier
trabajo de instalación, debe confirmar lo
siguiente:
En la instalación fija se ha de preveer para
la desconexión del aparato, un elemento de
desconexión con una separación de contactos de al
menos 3 mm en todos los contactos.
Asegúrese de que el suministro eléctrico ha sido
desconectado o apagado antes de comenzar con la
instalación, a fin de evitar el riesgo de electrocución
o descarga eléctrica.
Asegúrese de que ninguna cañería (gas, agua, aire)
o cables eléctricos, alambres o canalización se
encuentra directamente detrás de las áreas de
perforación.
Antes de acceder al interior del aparato, asegurese

Problema Acción Si los problemas persisten
El hand dryer ffuussTM no enciende. Asegúrese de que el hand dryer ffuussTM y
el cableado están conectados de manera

y se apaga de forma errónea.
Compruebe que no haya ningún objeto

En algunas ocasiones el hand dryer
ffuussTM se desconecta cuando
está en uso y reanuda al cabo de
un tiempo.
Proceda a reiniciar el secador
desconectandolo de la red eléctrica. Una
vez puesto en marxa de nuevo, espere 6
minutos antes de utilizarlo.
El hand dryer ffuussTM sigue
funcionando después de que el
usuario sacó las manos.
Una demora de 2 segundos después de
haber sacado las manos entra dentro de
la normalidad.
El hand dryer ffuussTM no está
secando las manos como es
habitual.
Verifique y limpie si hay algún tipo de
obstrucción en la entrada de aire y revise
el estado del filtro HEPA. Siga los consejos
de mantenimiento.
El hand dryer ffuussTM se activa
solo durante un par de segundos y
luego se para.
Compruebe que no haya ningún objeto
o barrera en la zona de secado. Si es así,
retíralo.
NOTAS GENERALES
Las instrucciones incluidas en la plantilla
de instalación adjunta deben seguirse
cuidadosamente cuando instale el hand dryer
ffuussTM. ffuussTM no será responsable de ningún
daño a la propiedad o lesión personal o muerte,
que sean resultado de no cumplir con las
instrucciones incluidas en el presente documento
y en la plantilla de instalación.
Compruebe que el hand dryer ffuussTM funciona
correctamente antes de permitir el uso al público.
No utilice el hand dryer ffuussTM para ningún
propósito que no sea secarse las manos.
El funcionamiento sin problemas y la seguridad
pueden continuarse si se utilizan los repuestos
auténticos ffuussTM.
ADVERTENCIA:
Con el fin de crear un entorno seguro para los
clientes con discapacidad visual, los accesorios
deben ser detectables con un bastón. El dibujo
destaca este requisito.
Las pautas de la ADA establecen que los accesorios
de más de 27” (685 mm) no deben sobresalir

CÓMO DEBE UTILIZARSE
Coloque las manos en la zona de secado del hand

DISPOSITIVO DE LIMPIEZA.

CONSEJO DE MANTENIMIENTO
Entrada de aire.
Controle de modo regular la entrada de aire por la
base del hand dryer ffuussTM y asegúrese de que
está libre de polvo, basura y otras partículas, si no
es así, proceder a limpiarla para liberar todos los
orificios de la posible suciedad. En caso de que
el hand dryer ffuussTM lleve un filtro HEPA H13,
cambiarlo cuando sea necesario o como mínimo
una vez al año. También, asegúrese de que todas
las superficies del hand dryer ffuussTM se limpian
adecuadamente para mantener un funcionamiento
sin interrupciones.
PRUEBA
Asegúrese de que el hand dryer ffuussTM está
conectado a la red eléctrica. Espere 6 minutos.
Coloque las manos en la zona de secado del hand
dryer ffuussTM para activar su funcionamiento y
la salida de aire. Retire las manos y se apagará
automáticamente.

periodo de 3 años. Durante el primer año, ffuussTM
garantiza la mano de obra sin coste alguno para el
propietario del hand dryer ffuussTM.
El propietario del hand dryer ffuussTM es responsable
de asegurar el acceso al producto durante cualquier
reparación de garantía del hand dryer ffuussTM.
Todas las partes reemplazadas por ffuussTM o sus
autorizados durante el primer año serán propiedad
de ffuussTM.
La garantía no se aplicará en los supuestos de
problemas ocasionados por el desgaste normal

3 AÑOS DE GARANTÍA LIMITADA DE LAS
PARTES
Todas las partes originales de fábrica de su hand
dryer ffuussTM están garantizadas contra los
defectos en materiales y mano de obra, cuando se
usan de acuerdo con el Manual de Usuario, durante
un período de 3 años.
La garantía limitada de partes de 3 años comienza
en la fecha de compra o en la fecha de entrega (la
que ocurra la última).
El propietario de la unidad debe presentar prueba
de compra antes de poder recibir los repuestos para
su reparación, de acuerdo con esta garantía. Sin
esta prueba, el propietario del hand dryer ffuussTM
es el responsable del pago de todos los repuestos
del producto por ffuussTM o sus distribuidores o
autorizados, a una tasa general. Todas las partes
funcionales de reemplazo de fábrica, pueden
instalarse por ffuussTM o sus distribuidores
autorizados a costos adicionales y tasas generales.
GARANTÍA ADICIONAL LIMITADA DE
MANO DE OBRA DURANTE EL PRIMER
AÑO.
Esta garantía comienza en la fecha de compra del hand
dryer ffuussTM y termina al cabo de 1 año.
Ofrece al propietario sin coste adicional alguno
toda la mano de obra necesaria para asegurarse
el buen funcionamiento del hand dryer ffuussTM.
Todos los trabajos de reparación, conforme a esta
garantía, deben llevarse a cabo por ffuussTM o por
distribuidores autorizados.
Todos los cargos de mano de obra que impliquen el
reemplazo de las piezas por defecto posteriores al
vencimiento de la garantía limitada de mano de obra
del primer año, son exclusiva responsabilidad del
propietario del dryer ffuussTM.
ffuussTM NO se hará responsable de:
• Los costos incurridos como resultado de la compra
de un hand dryer ffuussTM no adquirido a un
distribuidor autorizado.
• Todo daño (accidental u otro) o fallos ocasionados por
el uso negligente o mal uso, negligencia, funcionamiento
descuidado, no reparar o mantener de forma correcta la
máquina o manejar la máquina de manera no conforme
al Manual de Usuario de hand dryer ffuussTM.
• Uso de partes no conforme a Manual de Usuario de
hand dryer ffuussTM.
• Obstrucciones aparte de las ocasionadas por agua
y jabón en uso normal. En caso de otros tipos de
obstrucciones, consulte con ffuussTMpara obtener
ayuda técnica.
• Causas externas como lluvia, indisponibilidad
eléctrica, sobrecarga de suministro eléctrico.
• Las reparaciones o alteraciones efectuadas por
personas NO autorizadas por ffuussTM.
• Cualquier problema que provenga de una mala
instalación del aparato.
• Uso de partes o recambios no proporcionados por
ffuussTM o distribuidor autorizado.
• Montaje de partes o recambios no instalados de
acuerdo a las instrucciones de ffuussTM.
• Reparaciones o alteraciones no llevadas a cabo por
ffuussTM o distribuidor autorizado.
• Fallos ocasionados por actos fortuitos o
circunstancias fuera del control de ffuussTM.

EMBALAJE
El embalaje protege el equipo durante su transporte
y almacenamiento. El embalaje está hecho de
materiales reciclables. Una vez que el embalaje
no haga falta, deséchelo en el lugar apropiado del
sistema de reciclado en su comunidad.
EQUIPOS VIEJOS
Este producto tiene piezas de naturaleza eléctrica
y electrónica, es por eso que ha sido marcado
con símbolo RAEE (WEEE) según normativas
europeas. Se recomienda desechar este producto
de acuerdo con las normativas vigentes en su
país. Al momento de su eliminación, estas piezas
necesitan ser gestionadas.

wall where it will be installed and make the holes
according to the diagram. Check beforehand if
there is a direct cable to the electricity network or
if the hand dryer has to be connected using a plug.
Make sure that the dryer is installed according to
construction standards, as well as any codes and

is the responsibility of the installer to comply with
these.

WARNING

After installing the unit or each time the unit is restarted after an
electrical disconnection, an automatic calibration of the capacitive
sensors is performed, which lasts for 6 minutes. In order for the
calibration to be performed correctly, the unit should not be hand-
led, activated or any object be brought close to it during this time.

open the front part of the hand dryer to install the
network cable. Open the cover of the junction box

wall, then tighten the 4 screws.

Regularly check the air intake at the base of the
ffuussTM hand dryer and make sure it is free of dust,
rubbish and other particles, if not, proceed to clean
it to free all the holes of possible dirt. If the ffuussTM
hand dryer has a HEPA filter H13, change it when
necessary or at least once ayear. Also, make sure that
all surfaces of the ffuussTM hand dryer are properly
cleaned to maintain uninterrupted operation. It is
recommended to carry out maintenance once a
month, both in cleaning surfaces or air intake (HEPA
filter H13 depending on the model)
