and safety, please read these instructions carefully before connecting, operating
or adjusting this product. Please keep this manual for future reference.
1.0 INTRODUCTION
The HDMI Amplifier Splitter is an HDMI splitter with some outputs. It distributes
the input of the HDMI signal into the several identical outputs simultaneously. The
series of this product has the ability of buffering and amplifying. Each amplifier
splitter’s output can achieve long distance transmission of HDMI signal of more
than 15 meters. When two or more products are cascaded, they can create a
larger distribution and longer in length.
The HDMI Amplifier Splitter offers solutions for HDTV retail and show site, HDTV,
STB, DVD and Projector factory, noise, space and security concerns, data center
control, information distribution, conference room presentation, school and
corporate training environments.

3.0 PACKAGE CONTENTS
Before attempting to use this unit, please check the packaging and make sure the
following items are contained in the shipping carton:
1) Main unit (different models have different P/N).
2) 5V DC Power Supply.
3) User’s Manual.
Note: Please retain the original packing material in the case of needing to
return the unit. If you find any items are missing, contact FireFold
immediately. Please have the model number, serial number and invoice
available for reference when you call.

5.0 CONNECT AND OPERATE
1) Connect the HDMI input source and output devices into the HDMI Amplifier
Splitter. (HDMI cables are optional)
*please refer to the connection diagram section.
2) Insert the DC side of 5v power supply into it and then connect the AC side of
the power supply into the wall outlet.
3) Turn on the power.
Attention: Insert / Extract cable gently.

6.0 TROUBLESHOOTING
If the product doesn’t appear to be functioning,make certain that the source and
the destination device connected to the unit are functioning correctly by
connecting each device using a cable with a length 3 meters or less. (In other
words, make certain that the problem is not caused by long cables ). If the signal
is present under those conditions, make certain that the power is present to the
product. If it is, measure the cable length you are attempting to use between the
sources to the splitter and the splitter to the monitor. The input cables should be
15 meters or less in length and the output cables must be less than 15 meters
long and all cables should be premium quality. Lastly, inspect the cables and
connectors for damage.
6.1 Non-HDCP Compliant Devices
If a DVI device does not appear to work, make certain that the device is HDCP
compliant. Anon-HDCP compliant DVI device will not work with a signal that has
HDCP encoding present
6.2 Cable Length
If you need to span a longer distance to reach the amplifier splitter, purchase
FIREFOLD’s HDMI Splitter/Extender which will allow you to extend a cable run up
100FT.

7.0 LIMITED WARRANTY
Should any consumer product from FireFold fail due to defects in materials or
workmanship within one year from the date of the original sale to the end-user,
FireFold guarantees that we will replace the defective product at no cost. Freight
charges for the replacement unit will be paid by the customers. A copy of the
invoice showing the item number and date of purchase (proof-of-purchase) must
be submitted with the defective unit to constitute a valid in-warranty claim.
This is a limited warranty and is not applicable for products which,in our opinion,
have been damaged, altered, abused, misused, or improperly installed. FireFold
makes no other warranties either expressed or implied, including limitation
warranties as to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Additionally,
there are no allowances or credits available for service work or installation
performed in the field by the end user.
