Bar oers the easiest way to improve your TV sound without adding complex home
theater system. You can also enjoy great quality music from your portable devices,
wirelessly via Bluetooth.

Connecng the AC Adapter
0Note: Please make sure the Power switch is at the OFF posion before connecng the AC
adapter to the DC-IN jack.
1 Connect the AC adapter to the DC-IN jack of your Sound Bar.
2 Connect the AC adapter to the power cord.

3 Plug the power cord to an electrical outlet. The Power LED will not light up unl
user switches the Power switch to the ON posion.
Connecng to Your TV
This secon guides you connect your Sound Bar to a TV.
Using the Audio Cable
Using an analog cable, connect the Analog Audio IN (AUX1 or AUX2) port(s) on your
Sound Bar to the audio connector on the TV.
0Note: The TV’s 3.5mm audio port will automacally mute the TV speakers so that audio will
be played from your Sound Bar only.

Using the Opcal Cable
Using an opcal (S/PDIF) cable, connect the Opcal Audio IN port on your Sound Bar
to the OPTICAL OUT connector on the TV.
0Note: The S/PDIF cable is sold separately.

Connecng to Other Devices
This secon guides you connect your Sound Bar to a DVD/Blu-ray player, USB disk
drive, and portable devices.
Connecng to DVD/Blu-ray Player
To prevent the audio/video sync problem, it is highly recommended to perform the
following connecons:
• Video / Audio Input: DVD/Blu-ray player TV
• Audio Output: TV Sound Bar

We recommend you to use the supplied 3.5mm audio cable to connect TV to your
Sound Bar.

Connecng to USB Disk Drive
Plug the USB disk drive to the USB port of the Sound Bar.
0Note:
• To copy your favorite songs, simply plug the USB disk drive into your computer’s USB port
and transfer the music les to the root directory of USB disk drive.
• The device only supports FAT32 le system.
• Do not unplug the USB disk drive during the music playback.

Connecng to Portable Device
To connect to your portable device (i.e. smartphone or tablet), do one of the
following:
• Plug one end of the 3.5mm audio cable into the headphone jack of your portable
device and the other end of the 3.5mm audio cable to your Sound Bar.

• Plug one end of the 3.5mm audio cable into the headphone jack of your portable
device and the other end of the RCA stereo audio cable to your Sound Bar.

• Connect your portable device to “Sound Bar” using USB cable only under USB
mode. This Sound Bar only supports Android 4.0 above.
0Note: FCA-SB201 will recognize your portable device as a USB disk device under this
operaon. Therefore, music play back control can not be operated by Portable device.
Please use media control buons on control panel or remote control to play music.
• Connect your FCA-HP101 wireless headphone(oponal)/headphone to your
Sound Bar using a headphone/earphone cable.
0Note: When the LineOut funcon is enabled, the speakers of the Sound Bar will be muted.

Turning the Device On
1Press the Main Power switch to ON posion on the backside of Sound Bar. The
Power LED will turn ON, indicang the Sound Bar in the standby mode.

2Press the Power buon on the remote control/control panel on the Sound Bar to
power on the system.
3The Power LED will turn o. The Sound Bar will automacally select the last used
input source and the corresponding input LED will be turned on.

Wireless Connecon
Using Bluetooth
With Bluetooth funcon, you can listen to your music wirelessly from your phone,
tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device. This Sound Bar is compable with A2DP
(Advanced Audio Distribuon Prole) prole.

Pairing and Connecng Sound Bar with Bluetooth Device
1 Switch the input source to Bluetooth (BT). See “Selecng Input Source” on page
20.
2 On your Bluetooth device, tap Sengs and enable the Bluetooth funcon.
3Press the buon on the remote control to enter pairing mode for 60 seconds.
When you hear an audible tone, this indicates the device is in pairing mode.
4 On your Bluetooth device, search for the Sound Bar (FCA-SB201).
5 Tap “FCA-SB201“ to start pairing.
The Bluetooth LED lights (blue) to indicate the pairing is successful and device is
connected.

0Note: if the Bluetooth devices does not connected automacally aer paired, please tap
“FCA-SB201“ on your Bluetooth device to connect. It may be happened on some Bluetooth
devices.

6 Browse and select the music/media le to play.
You can use your Bluetooth device or the remote control to control the media
playback.
Connect the Paired Bluetooth Device
0Note: Make sure you have successfully paired your Bluetooth device with Sound Bar. Refer
to the “Pairing and Connecng Soundbar with Bluetooth Device” secon on the previous
page.
1 Switch the input source to Bluetooth (BT). See “Selecng Input Source” on page
20.
2 On your Bluetooth device, tap Sengs and enable the Bluetooth funcon.
3 Tap “FCA-SB201“ to connect.
4 Browse and select the music/media le to play.
You can use your Bluetooth device or the remote control to control the media
playback.
Disconnect Your Bluetooth Device from Sound Bar
Switch the input source to the input other than Bluetooth input. The Bluetooth
connecon will be disconnected. See “Selecng Input Source” on page 20.
0Note:
• Make sure your Sound Bar is near your Bluetooth device, with your Bluetooth range
(10m).
• If the Bluetooth device is out of Bluetooth range (10m) and been disconnected, Sound bar
will automacally restore the connecon for 60 seconds. If the disconnecon exceeds over
60 seconds, please reconnect Bluetooth device manually. Refer to the “Connect the Paired
Bluetooth Device” secon.
• Only one Bluetooth device can be connected at a me. Once you have turned o Sound
Bar and the connecon is disconnected, connecon may not be restored automacally.

You must connect the Sound Bar again to reestablish the connecon.
• If Bluetooth device fail to connect with the Sound Bar for unknown reason, please delete
the ”FCA-SB201” device record found on your Bluetooth device and operate the pairing/
connecng process again. Refer to the “Pairing and Connecng Sound Bar with Bluetooth
Device” secon on page 16.
• Sound Bar cannot connect to a Bluetooth device which only supports HF (Hands Free)
funcon.
Using Bluetooth NFC
With Bluetooth NFC funcon, it provides Bluetooth easy pairing & connecng feature.
Pairing and Connecng Sound Bar with Bluetooth Device
1 Switch the input source to Bluetooth (BT). See “Selecng Input Source” on page
20.
2 On your Bluetooth device, tap Sengs and enable the NFC funcon.
3 Place your Bluetooth device close to the NFC logo on the control panel. It takes
approximately 3 seconds for the system to detect the connecon. When you hear
an audible tone, this indicates the device is in easy pairing & connecng process.

0Note: The locaon of the NFC detecon area varies depending on the device. Check the
documentaon that came with your Bluetooth device.
4 A conrmaon message appears on the screen. Tap Yes to start pairing.
5 The Bluetooth LED lights (blue) to indicate the pairing is successful and device is

connected.
6 Browse and select the music/media le to play.

Selecng Input Source
Press the INPUT buon on the remote control or the control panel to switch the
input source.

0Note: If you are using an earphone, press the LINEOUT buon to enable the earphone
(LineOut) funcon. When the LineOut funcon is enabled, the speakers of the device will be
muted.
Sound Control
This secon guides you control the music playback, adjust the volume level, and
customize the sound sengs.
Basic Music Playback Control (Only Applicable in USB and Bluetooth
Modes)
To control the music playback, do the following:
• Press the buon to skip to the previous song.
• Press the buon to pause the music playback. Press the buon again to
play the music playback.
• Press the buon to skip to the next song.
0Note: You can use either the remote control or the control panel.
Adjusng the Volume Level
To adjust the volume level, do the following:
• Press the VOL- on the control panel or the VOLUME (-) buon on the remote
control to decrease the volume level.
• Press the VOL+ on the control panel or the VOLUME (+) buon on the remote
control to increase the volume level.
