FJC 2 ounce Oil and
Dye Injector

WARNING: ALWAYS USE SPLASH
GOGGLES WHEN OPERATING THIS TOOL.
Operating Instructions:
For R12 Systems:
1. Remove cap with hose.
2. Unscrew handle of injector counterclockwise until inside
edge of handle lines up with line below 2oz / 60ml mark.
3. Fill injector with FJC Universal A/C Dye or FJC PAG or
Ester Oil to bottom of threads inside injector.
4. Screw cap with hose into dye injector. Do Not Over Tighten.
Twist the injector to purge the line of air.
5. Screw hose onto R12 ¼ inch LOW SIDE SERVICE PORT.
WARNING: ONLY CONNECT INJECTOR ONTO LOW
SIDE SERVICE PORT. CONNECTING INJECTOR ON-
TO HIGH SIDE SERVICE PORT CAN CAUSE PER-
SONAL INJURY.
To Inject Oil:
a. Screw handle of injector, clockwise, until handle stops.
Do Not Over Tighten. This injects 2 ounces of oil.
b. Unscrew hose from R12 service port.
To Inject Dye:
a. Screw handle of injector, clockwise, until inside edge of
handle lines up with line under 1 ¾ oz / 52.5ml on
injector. This injects ¼ ounce / 7.5ml of dye.
b. Unscrew hose from R12 service port.
c. To inject dye into next vehicle, screw handle of injector,
clockwise, until inside edge of handle lines up with next
line on injector to inject ¼ ounce / 7.5ml of dye into A/C
Read Carefully Before Using
system.
6. Remove cap with hose and repeat steps 2 through 5.
For R134a Systems:
1. Screw injector hose onto R134a quick coupler.
2. Remove cap with hose.
3. Unscrew handle of injector counterclockwise until inside
edge of handle lines up with line below 2oz / 60ml mark.
4. Fill injector with FJC Universal A/C Dye or FJC PAG or
Ester Oil to bottom of threads inside injector.
5. Screw cap with hose into dye injector. Do Not Over Tighten.
6. Connect R134a quick coupler onto LOW SIDE SERVICE
PORT.
WARNING: ONLY CONNECT INJECTOR ONTO LOW
SIDE SERVICE PORT. CONNECTING INJECTOR ON-
TO HIGH SIDE SERVICE PORT CAN CAUSE PER-
SONAL INJURY.
To Inject Oil:
c. Screw handle of injector, clockwise, until handle stops.

d. Disconnect R134a quick coupler from low side service
port.
To Inject Dye:
d. Screw handle of injector, clockwise, until inside edge of
handle lines up with line under 1 ¾ oz / 52.5ml on
injector. This injects ¼ ounce / 7.5ml of dye.
e. Disconnect R134a quick coupler from low side service
port.
f. To inject dye into next vehicle, screw handle of injector,
clockwise, until inside edge of handle lines up with next
line on injector to inject ¼ ounce / 7.5ml of dye into A/C
system.
Remove cap with hose and repeat steps 3 through 6.
