1. Introduction
Original instruction manual
This manual is a translation of the original manual for the roller grill GLxRxxxx. In the fol-
lowing mentioned as the roller grill.
Purpose
The purpose of this manual is to ensure proper installation, use, handling and mainte-
nance of the roller grill.
Accessibility
The manual shall be kept in a –to the staff –well known place which is easy to access for
electricians and other personnel who maintain.
Knowledge
The employer is obligated to ensure that people who operate, serve and/or maintain the
roller grill, has read this instruction manual or as a minimum are familiar with parts which
are relevant to their job.
Furthermore everybody who operates, serve and/maintain the roller grill is obligated to
seek information in this operation instructions manual.
2. In general
2.1. Manufacturer

2.2. The full name of the machine
The full name of the roller grill is GL 6R T A O S 45 / 2
GL = Grill Line
6R = Number of rolls e.g. 6 rolls
T= PTFE coated rolls
A= Aluminium rolls
O= Oval rolls
S= Sloping cabinet/rolls
45 = Width of rolls [cm]
/2 = 2 independent zones

3. Overview and application
3.1. Generel desription
The roller grill is designed to cook sausages, wraps and pizza rolls and can be adapted to
every customer’s needs since it comes in different sizes, depending on the number of rolls,
which also are available in different materials and designs. The roller grill has an adjusta-
ble temperature, which are controlled by an energy regulator. There is easy access to the
food and the roller grill I s easy to clean. The roller grill can be suited with one or two unde-
pendable heat zones.
3.2. Purpose of the roller grill and intended use
The roller grill is designed for cooking and warm holding of sausages, wraps, pizza rolls or
any kind of food with a round long shape.
3.3. Warning of forseeable misuse
The roller grill must not be used for anything else than preparing of food products with a
shape that suites the ability to be rotated by the rolls.

Airborne noise coming from the roller grill:
Measured sound pressure level: < 60 dB(A)
3.5. Working place and establisment
The working grill must be placed on a table or counter top in an appropriate working
height. The roller grill is operated from the front.
4. Safety
4.1. Safety precaussions
When the roller grill is in use the user shall be aware of the the rolls are hot. It is recom-
mended to use protection gloves.

5. Operation
The roller grill is on the front equipped with a temperature control and a switch with red
light for each heating zone, indicating that the heat and rolling function is on. The roller grill
is switched on and the rolls are rotating. The heat is controlled by the energy regulator and
is put to the right level by turning the scale knob.

Note that there is a difference in the temperatures obtained depending on whether the
roller grill is equipped with steel rollers or with aluminium rolls. See the roller grills model
designation.
By roller grill with two heat zones regulates the controls to the right the front zone.
6. Installation
6.1. Generally
The roller grill is intended to be placed on a table or counter top and is with adjustable
legs.
6.2. Connection
An authorized electrician should connect the roller grill. The roller grill is equipped with 1-
pole connector with earth (L + N + G). Be aware that the installation is done properly with
adequate fuse, protection against fault current and grounding.

7. Maintanence and repair
7.1. Cleaning
It is important that the roller grill is cooled off helow 50°C, before cleaning.
Turn on the roller grill and put the scale
knob on 1. This will make the rollers
turning to ease the cleaning process.
Wipe the rollers with a damp cloth con-
taining detergent. Wipe in toward the
centre of the rollers so that the fat does
not flow into the cabinet.
Wipe the cabinet with a damp cloth con-
taining detergent.
- remember the sidepanels too.
Take out the fat tray underneath the rolls
and wash it.
NEVER DO THIS !!!!

7.2. Repair
Authorized personnel with good knowledge of electrical equipment shall only carry out re-
pair.
