Device Installation
Instructions:

These instructions are a guide for installing FleetCarma C2 Device.

Step 2: Install the C2 Device
A. Remove the C2 Device from its box. Retain the box for future reference to the C2
ID number and Activation Code.
B. Turn on the vehicle.
C. Locate the OBD II port in your vehicle. There may be two OBD II ports in your
vehicle. One may be behind a panel on the driver side, and the second one is
located in the driver footwell. Please install into the driver footwell OBD II port.
D. Connect the C2 to the OBD II port, and press rmly to ensure a secure connection.

Step 1: Activate
Take the blue C2 box and look for the Activation Key and C2 ID on the sticker. The C2
ID is also located on the C2 device. Create a SmartCharge RewardsTM account online at
smartchargerewards.eetcarma.com and enter the key and ID to activate your C2 and
link it with your account.

If one or both LEDs do not light up after installation, follow these steps:
1. Ensure vehicle is started (vehicle ready to drive).
2. Remove the C2 device, wait for 10 seconds, and clip it back in.
3. LEDs still not lit correctly? Contact FleetCarma Support at:

If the orange LED is solid, and the blue LED is either solid or ashing, you have
successfully completed the installation.

Step 3: Confirm Operation
Ensure that the LED lights are indicating the C2 device is working:
• A solid Orange LED indicates the device is receiving power.
• A solid Blue LED indicates the device is successfully communicating data. It may take
some time for the solid blue light to appear if the cell signal is weak.
