Introduction
Only DHI or DHI Authorized Service Providers are
authorized to install replacement Q-RPTs.
Replacement or installation by other parties will
void the warranty of the Q-RPT and possibly the
equipment into which it is installed. Measurement
and/or control specifications are also valid only
under these conditions.
Q-RPTs are used in a variety of DHI Controllers,
Monitors and Flow Terminals. Different crimps,
connectors and associated crimp tools are used
with different models. The pages that follow show
the crimps, connectors and crimp tool required for
each equipment type. Refer to the wiring diagrams
on the following sheets and to the detailed
instructions included with Molex hand crimp tools,
to install crimps onto wires. Molex crimp tool
instruction sheets are also available on the Molex
website at www.molex.com.

Note
DDS NOTE: Some Paroscientific Pressure
Transducers include a separate wire bundle used
for DIGIQUARTZ DATA STORAGE (DDS). The
bundle includes a White/Violet, White/Brown and in
some cases a Yellow wire. The DDS wires are
utilized only on PPCH, PPCH-G, and PPC4
products. For all other DHI products do not disturb
the DDS bundle. Leave it coiled with the wire ends
sealed as supplied by Paroscientific.
Wire Lengths: Specific wire lengths have been
intentionally omitted from these instructions.
Preferred method is to measure the wire length on
the existing Transducer being replaced and cut the
wire lengths on the replacement Transducer to
same length.
Q-RPT must be calibrated after installation.
