removing the loop. Do not tie the cords together.Check cords periodically to make
sure the cords have not twisted into a loop. This device will not prevent strangulation
if young children wrap pull cords around their necks. Always keep cords out of the reach
of young children.
!
WARNING

LIFTING NOTICE
THIS IS A WIDE AND HEAVY BLIND. DUE TO ITS WEIGHT IT IS NOT SUITABLE TO BE REPEATEDLY LIFTED. THIS BLIND IS FOR SHADING PURPOSES, THE SLATS
CAN BE TILTED TO ADJUST LIGHT AS DESIRED. WHEN RAISING THIS BLIND ANOTHER PERSON SHOULD ASSIST BY LIFTING THE BOTTOMBAR/RAIL OF THE BLIND
USING BOTH HANDS WHILST LIFT CORD IS BEING PULLED DOWNWARD. ENSURE THE CORD IS LOCKED INTO POSITION BEFORE LETTING GO OF THE BOTTOM
OF THE BLIND.
HOW TO SHORTEN THE LENGTH OF YOUR BLIND
1. Unpack blind from box. Using draw cords, open blind to full length and lie flat on a clean surface.
2. Place a metal tape measure along the side edge of the blind to determine your new length required. Mark the slat directly
under your desired length.
3. Using a flat head screwdriver or point nose pliers, carefully pull each of the end caps out of the base bar.
4. Unknot the cords that come through the bottom bar and carefully remove the base bar from the bottom of the blind.
5. Then remove the unwanted slats by pulling the slats off the cords, ensuring the marked slat is the
last slat to be removed.
6. Using scissors, cut all cords to suit the new length of the blind. The ladder cords will require an
additional 5cm and the draw cords will need sufficient length to make a knot at the end of the cord.
7. Carefully re-install the bottom bar by sliding the cords through the holes in the bottom bar. Tie a
knot in the draw cords so they cannot go back through the holes.
8. Neatly tuck the knots of the draw cords and ladder cords into the bottom bar holes. Insert the end
caps ensuring they are pushed in fully and hide all the ends of the cords.
9. You may need to adjust the length of the draw cords to suit the new blind length. This is simply
done by sliding the acorn up the cord, cutting the cord to suit. Re-tie the cords and slide acorn over
knot.
10. The blind is now ready to be installed.
