Channel1willgiveyouthecharacteristicsofthe
old“Plexi”Britishamps.Itcancreatesomany
differenttonesfromcleantodirtyandeverything
inbetween.Thereisno“wrong”settingtrythe
EQsettingssuggestedforCh2butplaywiththe
GainandMastercontrols.Eg:startwithalower
gainandturntheMasterup,thenturntheGain
upandMasterdown.Thereisnowrongsetting.
ForChannel2werecommendstartingwiththe
Basson8,themidsataround6or7andthetreble
at5.Setthegainaround8andthenbringthe
mastertotaste.Afterpluggingin,youwillnotice
instantly,thetightbottomendandrich
harmonicallydetailedchordsandsinglenotes,
that’stheFriedmansound.Thisampcleansup
remarkablywellwiththeguitar’svolumecontrol
evenwiththeamponhighergainsettings.


7.WallorCeilingMounting
–Theproductshouldneverbemountedtoawall
orceiling.
8.Heat–Amplifiershouldbesituatedawayfrom
heatsourcessuchasradiators,heatregisters,
stoves,orotheramplifier(includingamplifiers)
thatproduceheat.
9.PowerSources–Thisproductshouldbe
operatedonlyfromthetypeofpowersource
indicatedontheratinglabel.

10.GroundingorPolarization
–Thisproductmaybeequippedwithapolarized
alternationͲcurrentlineplug(aplughavingone
bladewiderthantheother).Thisplugwillfitinto
thepoweroutletonlyoneway.Thisisasafety
feature.Ifyouareunabletoinserttheplugfully
intotheoutlet,tryreversingtheplug.Iftheplug
shouldstillfailtofit,contactyourelectricianto
replaceyourobsoleteoutlet.Donotdefeatthe
safetypurposeofthepolarizedplug.
11.PowerͲCordProtection
–PowerͲsupplycordsshouldberoutedsothat
theyarenotlikelytobewalkedonorpinchedby
itemsplaceduponoragainstthem,paying
particularattentiontothecordincorrespondence
ofplugs,conveniencereceptacles,andthepoint
wheretheyexitfromtheamplifier.
12.Cleaning–Theamplifiershouldbecleaned
onlyasrecommendedbythemanufacturer.Clean
bywipingwithaclothslightlydampwithwater.
Avoidgettingwaterinsidetheamplifier.

14.NonͲusePeriods–Thepowercordofthe
amplifiershouldbeunpluggedfromtheoutlet
whenleftunusedforalongperiodoftime.
15.ObjectandLiquidEntry
–Careshouldbetakensothatobjectsdonotfall
andliquidsarenotspilledintotheenclosure

16.DamageRequiringService
–Theamplifiershouldbeservicedbyqualified

servicetotheamplifierbeyondthatdescribedin

Allotherservicingshouldbereferredtoqualified

18.Ventilation–Slotsandopeningsinthecabinet
areprovidedforventilationandtoensurereliable
operationoftheproductandtoprotectitfrom
overheating,andtheseopeningsmustnotbe
blockedorcovered.Theopeningsshouldneverbe
blockedbyplacingtheproductonabed,sofa,rug,
orothersimilarsurface.Thisproductshouldnot
beplacedinabuiltͲininstallationsuchasa
bookcaseorrack.
19.Attachments–donotuseattachmentsnot
recommendedbytheproductmanufactureras
theymaycausehazards.
20.Accessories–Donotplacethisproductonan
unstablecart,stand,tripod,bracket,ortable.The
productmayfall,causingseriousinjurytoachild
oradult,andseriousdamagetotheproduct.Use
onlywithacart,stand,tripod,bracket,ortable
recommendedbythemanufacturer,orsoldwith
theproduct.
21.Lightning–Foraddedprotectionforthis
productbeforealightningstorm,orwhenitisleft
unattendedandunusedforlongperiodsoftime,
unplugitfromthewalloutlet.Thiswillprevent
damagetotheproductduetolightningand
powerlinesurges.
22.ReplacementParts–Whenreplacementparts
arerequired,besuretheservicetechnicianhas

orrepairstothisproduct,asktheservice
techniciantoperformsafetycheckstodetermine
thattheproductisinproperoperatingcondition.
24.FUSES–Alwaysusethecorrectratingandtype
offuseasindicatedontherearpanel.Notethe
properratingfuseisdeterminedbytheACline
voltageinthecountrythisunitisbeingoperated.
25.ACSELECTSWITCH:Thisswitchmustbesetto
matchtheAClinevoltageinthecountrythisunit
isbeingoperated.
Tochangethesetting,loosen(donotremove)the
twoscrewsaboveandbelowtheslideswitch.
Temporarilymovetheprotectivecoverstripand
slidetheactuatortomatchthevoltageinyour
country.Placetheprotectivecoverstripbackover
theswitchandtightenthetwoscrews.





