Capítulo 1. Instalación.
1.1. Medidas de seguridad
1.- No situar el equipo cerca de ninguna fuente de calor.
2.- No someta al equipo a temperaturas que excedan el rango de funcionamiento del aparato.
3.- Evitar ubicaciones con posibilidad de que se viertan líquidos en su interior, y con cambios importantes de temperatura.
4.- Nunca abra el equipo usted mismo por riesgo de electrocución. En caso de problemas, acuda siempre a técnicos
cualificados.
5.- No ponga ningún objeto pesado sobre el equipo, puesto que podría estropearse

1.3. Descripción y conexiones
Este dispositivo ha sido diseñado específicamente para programar los módulos, que permitan esta función.
La alimentación del PRO 300 la suministra el módulo a programar, excepto con la serie DVB 300 que necesita el inyector
DC para alimentar el programador.
En el display LCD gráfico de gran tamaño (128 x 64 píxeles) aparecen todos los menús necesarios de programación del
módulo.
Para la navegación por los menús de cada uno de los módulos que se programen, el PRO 300 dispone de un teclado
compuesto por 6 teclas que intuitivamente permite una sencilla selección de los parámetros a programar.
Debido a los constantes cambios y aparición de nuevos módulos, no previstos inicialmente, este programador permite
sencillamente actualizar el firmware que incorpora, para adaptarse a las nuevas necesidades.
El PRO 300 incorpora un lector de tarjetas SD, para permitir al usuario programar y actualizar los diferentes equipos
desde el programador, a parte de aumentar la capacidad de almacenamiento. En caso de no permitir la programación de
algún módulo por no estar el firmware adaptado, en el display puede leerse la versión de firmware y cuales son los
módulos permitidos por esa versión, para facilitar al usuario la detección del error.

Capítulo 2. Programación y configuración
2.1. Configuración del PRO 300
El PRO 300 permite configurar la iluminación del display y el idioma de los
menús. Para entrar en este modo apretar simultáneamente las teclas derecha y
OK durante los primeros segundos después de conectar el PRO 300.
2.1.1. Idioma
Para cambiar el idioma de los menús, se debe situar el cursor sobre la opción
Cambio de idioma . Pulse O
OK
para entrar en el menú de cambio de idioma.
Con las flechas verticales (Arriba/Abajo) seleccione el idioma que desee y
pulse O
OK.
2.1.2. Iluminación display
Para cambiar la iluminación del display, se debe situar el cursor sobre la opción
Luz On/Off . Pulse O
OK
para entrar en el menú.
Con las flechas verticales (Arriba/Abajo) seleccione On/Off
(activada/desactivada) y pulse O
OK.
2.1.3. Contraste de la pantalla
Para cambiar el contrase del display, se debe situar el cursor sobre la opción
Contraste LCD . Pulse O
OK
para entrar en el menú.
Con las flechas verticales (Arriba/Abajo) seleccione un valor de contraste entre
0 y 6 y pulse O
OK.
2.1.4. Versión de software
Para ver la versión de software del programador, situe el cursor sobre la opción
Version SW info. y pulse OK. En la pantalla aparecerá información sobre el
número y fecha de la versión del programador.
2.2. Incialización
Cuando el programador se enciende comprueba que al otro lado del cable serie
o RJ-45 haya conectado un módulo. Si no es así, muestra una pantalla de error
en la que advierte al usuario de ello.
Si el PRO 300 se conecta a un módulo que no tiene en la base de datos,
informa que no reconoce el dispositivo y avisa al usuario de los dispositivos con
los que puede trabajar.
En el caso que se conecte a un módulo soportado por el sistema, se entra en el
menú de programación correspondiente.

2.3. Tarjeta de memoria SD
El PRO 300 detectará tarjetas de memoria formateadas en FAT 16. La capacidad máxima que puede soportar en este
formato son 2 GBytes.
Al conectar la alimentación, el programador realizará los siguientes pasos:
Nota:
Si el programador no reconoce el formato de la tarjeta SD, ya sea por que el formato es incorrecto o por
que la tarjeta esta dañada, no realizará el paso 3 y 4.
2.3.1. Carpetas
La primera vez que se inserte la tarjeta en el programador, se crearán dos carpetas
Programs y Channels . En el caso que
esta tarjeta ya tenga creadas dichas carpetas el programador simplemente verificará el formato.
Channels
En la carpeta
Channels se guardarán las diferentes configuraciones de los equipos que son programables desde el PRO
300 ( Genius, DVB 300 , DVB 310, etc).
Programs
Se guardarán en la carpeta
Programs las nuevas versiones de software de los equipos que son programables desde el
PRO 300 y de este modo poder actualizarlos directamente. Esta nueva opción evitará tener que desplazarse con un Pc
hasta las instalaciones, en el caso que haya que actualizar un equipo.
2.4. Guardar configuraciones
Una vez programados los diferentes equipos (DVB 310, Genius ICT, etc), el PRO 300 permite guardar las diferentes
configuraciones en la carpeta
Channels de la tarjeta SD.
Nota:
La longitud máxima del nombre de los ficheros en la SD es de 8 caracteres, por lo que si superan esta
cifra se han de renombrar.

2.5. Actualización
Los archivos de actualización del programador PRO 300 los podrá encontrar en nuestra página web www.ftemaximal.com.
La actualización del PRO 300 se realiza mediante la tarjeta SD.
Antes de introducir la tarjeta SD en el PRO 300, hay que introducir los archivos
de actualización en la carpeta
Programs de la tarjeta SD, a continuación
conectar el PRO 300 con la tarjeta SD ya introducida.
Al iniciarse el programador detectará la nueva versión de software y ofrecerá la
posibilidad de actualizar el programador.

Si selecciona realizar la actualización, el programador realizará los siguientes pasos:

Chapter 1 Installation.
1.1 Safety Measures
1.- Never place the device next to hot sources.
2.- Never undergo the equipment to temperatures that exceed its the level of operation.
3.- Avoid locations with possibilities of spilling liquids on the inside of the device, and with important changes of
temperature.
4.- Never open the equipment yourself due to electric risk. In case of problems, go always to qualified technicians.
5.- Never place any heavy object over the device, as it could get damaged

1.3. Descriptions and connexions
This device has been specifically designed for programming modules that allow this function.
The feeding of PRO 300 is provided directly from the module that has to be programmed, except for DVB 300 series,
which needs a DC injector for feeding the programmer.
In the big sized (128 x 64 pixels) graphic display appears all the necessary programming menus of the module.
In order to surf through all the menus of each programmable module, PRO 300 is provided with a keyboard composed by
6 keys that, intuitively, allow an easy selection of the parameters that have to be programmed.
Due to the constant changes and appearing of new modules, not initially foreseen, this programmer allows updating the
firmware that it incorporates easily, in order to adapt itself to new needs.
PRO 300 incorporates a SD card reader that allows the user to program and update the different devices from the
programmer, apart from increasing the storage capacity.
In case that the programming of any modules is not allowed because the firmware is not adapted, in the display you can
see the Firmware version and which are the modules allowed by that version, in order to facilitate the detection of the
error.

Chapter 2. Programming and configuring
2.1 PRO 300 configuration
PRO 300 allows configuring the display lighting and the menus languages.
In order to get into this mode, you should press simultaneously “right” and “OK”
buttons during the first seconds after connecting PRO 300.
2.1.1 Language
In order to change the language in the menu, you should place the cursor in
Change language option. Press O
OK
to get into change of language menu.
With the vertical buttons (Up/Down) select the wished language and press O
OK.
2.1.2 Display lighting
In order to change the display lighting, you should place the cursor in the
Light
On/off
option. Press O
OK
to get into the menu.
With the vertical buttons (Up/Down) select between On / Off to to activate or
deactivate the light in the display and press O
OK.
2.1.3 LCD contrast
In order to change the display contrast, you should place the cursor in the
LCD
Contrast
option. Press O

to get into the menu.
With the vertical buttons (Up/Down) select the contrast value between 0 and 6.
Then press O
OK
to save changes.

2.1.4 Software version
To view the firmware version of the programmer, you should place the cursor in
the
SW version Info option and press O

The display will show information about programmer version number and date
2.2 Initialization
When the programmer starts, it checks if on the other side of the series cable
or RJ-45 there is a module connected. If there is not any, it shows an error
screen warning the user of it.
If PRO 300 is connected to a module that is not in its database, it informs the
user that it is does not recognise the device, and tells the user which devices
can be used. In case that it is connected to a module which is endured by the
system, you have to go to the corresponding programming menu.

2.3 SD memory card
PRO 300 detects memory cards formatted in FAT16. The maximum capacity that it can endure in this format is 2 GBytes.
If the programmer has a SD card inside itself when connecting, it will follow the next steps:
When connecting the feeding, the programmer will make the following steps:

If the programmer does not recognize the format of the SD card, because the format is not correct or
because the card is damaged, it will not make the 3rd and 4th step.
2.3.1 Folders
Two new folders will be created:
Programs and Channels the first time you insert the card in the programmer. In case this
card had such folders created already, the programmer only will verify the format.
Channels
The
Channels folder will keep the different configurations of the devices that are programmable from PRO 300 (Genius,
DVB 300, DVB 310, etc).
Programms
The new software versions of the devices that are programmable through PRO 300 will be saved in
Programs folder and
this way the updating can be done directly. This new option will avoid having to take a PC to the installation when a device
has to be updated.
2.4 Configuration saving
Once the different devices (DVB 310, Genius ICT, etc) are programmed, PRO 300 allows saving the different
configurations in the
Channels folder in the SD card.
Note:
The maximum length of the name of the files in the SD is 8 characters; therefore if they exceed this
number they must be re-named.

2.5 Updating
The updating files of PRO 300 programmer can be found in our website www.ftemaximal.com.
The PRO 300 updating is done through SD card.
Before introducing the SD card in the PRO 300, it is necessary to introduce the
updating file in the
Programs folder of the SD card, and then to connect the
PRO 300 with the SD card already inside.
When the programmer starts it will detect the new software version and will
offer the possibility of updating the programmer.
Press O
