Start Record Button
Touch to start recording.

Channel Recording Levels
Red when recording, grey when not recording
Archive Panel
Start Archiving
Insert a blank disc and
touch to start the creation
of an archive CD/DVD.
One day per disc
Touch On if you want
each disc to be limited to
a day of recording.
It is best practice to
archive all recordings
before shutting down the
FTR Touch unit.
Monitor the Archive
Status LED for confirma-
tion that all recordings are
archived.
Archive Panel Icon
Includes an Archive
Status LED which is
yellow when recordings
are yet to be archived.
Message Area
Displays messages as
required.

File Panel

Use the File Panel to find
a recording for playback.
Do the following:
1.Touch to select a device
2.Touch to select a date
3.Touch to select a label
Touch Back to return to
the previous pane and
touch the scroll buttons to
show more options on
each pane.
Mode Dial - Rotate dial to File Panel icon or touch the File Panel icon.
Mode Dial - Rotate dial to Playback Panel icon or touch the Playback Panel icon.
Playback Panel
Find and open recordings from the File
Panel first.
Once opened in the playback panel you can:
Touch Start/Stop to control playback.
Touch Scan back or Scan forward to skip
in 5 second intervals and play a half
second.
Adjust the play time using the Current
Play Time display and adjustment buttons
or by dragging the current play time control
on the Day Bar. See the User’s Guide.
Adjust Channel volumes by touching and
dragging the required channel volume
control.
Adjust the Master volume by touching
and dragging the master volume control.
Channel level meters
Show audio activity in each channel
Channel volumes
Touch and drag to the required volume
Scan Back Scan Forward Master volumeLabel and message area
