させ、電池ぶたを取り外します。
CDの方向に合わせて電池を

を回します 。
本機は適切な明るさの設定を自動で感知し、明るさモード表示部のランプを点灯させてお知らせします。
明るい仕上がり（ハイキー）の写真を撮影したいときは、明るさモード表示部のランプが点灯している位置を
確認し、下記のようにランプが点灯している位置から、明るさ調整ダイヤルをずらして設定してください。
注意
屋外では （ハイキーモード）に設定しないでください。意図した以上
に写真が明るく（白く）なる場合があります。

警告
• 付属の接写レンズを通して太陽を見ないでください。失明の原因になります。
注意
• 付属の接写レンズを太陽光の当たる場所に放置しないでください。太陽光が集光した場合には高温に
なり、発火ややけどの原因になる恐れがあります。
• 接写レンズの取り付け/取り外しは、必ず電源を入れた状態で行ってください。レンズカバーが正しく動
作しない場合があります。
• 接写レンズを取り付ける、または取り外すときに、接写レンズを絶対に回転させないでください。接写レ
ンズ裏側のツメが壊れる恐れがあります。
自分自身を撮影する

注意
• 2 本とも新しい同じ銘柄・種類のアルカリ電池（単 3）をご使用ください。
• アルカリ電池以外は使用しないでください。
• 次のような場合は、電池を 2 本とも交換してください。
-フラッシュ充電ランプが点灯したとき
-電源ボタンを押して電源を入れたときに、どのランプも点灯または点滅しないとき
• 新しい電池で約 100 枚（約 10 パック）撮影が可能です。（当社試験条件）
• 寒いときは、電池の性能が低下します。電池をポケットの中などで温めてからご使用ください。
• 同梱の電池は動作確認用の試供品です。
注意
• 電池が入っていることを確認してからフィルムパックを入れてください。
• 直射日光があたらない場所でフィルムパックを入れてください。
• フジフイルム インスタントカラーフィルム instax mini 以外のインスタントカラーフィルムを使
用しないでください。
• フィルムパックを入れるときは、フィルムパック背面の 2 カ所の長方形の穴は絶対に押さないでく
ださい。
• フィルムを使い切るまでは、フィルムパック蓋を開けないで下さい。途中で開けると、フィルムが
感光して白くなり、写真が写りません。
• 有効期限を過ぎたフィルムは絶対に使用しないでください（故障の原因となります）。
• 詳細は、フジフイルムインスタントカラーフィルムinstaxmini の取扱説明書を参照してください。
カメラを構え、構図を決めて、シャッターボタンを押
します。
• 撮影対象から 0.6m 以上離れて撮影してくださ
い。また、フラッシュの光が届く範囲は 0.6m
〜 2.7m です。
• 0.6m より被写体に近づくとピントが合いませ
ん。接近して撮影したい場合には、接写レンズ
をご使用ください。接写レンズを使用すると、
35cm 〜 50cm まで接近して撮影することが
できます。
• 近距離撮影（接写レンズ使用時を含む）をすると、
視差の影響により、ファインダーの中心部に見
えた被写体がプリントでは右上にずれます。
カメラを構えるときの注意
• 横位置撮影では、フラッシュ発光部が上になるように構えてください。
• フラッシュ撮影が禁止されている場所では使用しないでください。
• 指やストラップが受光部、フラッシュ発光部、撮影レンズ、フィルム出口に掛からないよ
うに注意してください。
• 構えるときはレンズ部を持たないでください。写真が正しく写らない場合があります。
• ファインダーをのぞく時は、ファインダー内の○が中央に見えるように、正面からのぞい
てください
• シャッターボタンを押すときは、撮影レンズに触れないように注意してください。

●電源が入った状態（レンズが飛び出している状態）
で電池を交換します。
重要：
「電源が入った状態」で電池交換してくださ
い。「電源が切れた状態（レンズが押し戻さ
れた状態）」で電池交換すると、電源を入れ
たときに、再び明るさ調整ダイヤルのランプ
が点滅してしまいます。
※原因が①の場合は、電池交換後に明るさ調整ダイ
ヤ ル の ランプ は 点 滅しなくなります 。
原因が②の場合は、電池交換後も明るさ調整ダイ
ヤルのランプが点滅します。すぐに電源を切って
電池を抜き、ご購入店または富士フイルムフィル
ムカメラ修理相談窓口へお問い合わせください。

②レンズを被写体に向けたまま、明るさ調節ダイヤ
ルのマークを点灯しているランプに合わせます。
③撮影前のカメラを暖かい場所に置いてから撮影し
ます。また、送り出された写真をポケットの中な
どで温めます。
④明るさ調節ダイヤルを 方向に一段階回して試し
てください 。
⑤撮影するときは、フラッシュの横にある 2 つの窓
をふさがないように、カメラの構え方に注意して
ください。

ルのマークを点灯しているランプに合わせます。
③カメラを涼しい場所に置いてから撮影します。ま
た、送り出された写真を熱いものの上や近くに置
かな い でください。
④順光撮影を行うか、明るさ調節ダイヤルを 方向
に一段階回します。
⑤カメラの構え方に注意してください。
⑥明るさ調節ダイヤルを 方向に一段階回して試し
てください 。
⑦被写体から 0.6m 〜 2.7m の範囲で撮影します。
⑧鏡やガラスに対して斜め方向から撮影します。
9撮影するときはレンズ部を持たないでください。

絶対に分解しないでください。感電の原因になります。
落下などにより内部が露出したときは、絶対に触れないでください。高圧回路があり感電する原因
になります。
カメラ（電池）が熱くなる、煙が出る、焦げ臭いなどの異常を感じたときは、ただちに電池を取り
出してください。発火ややけどの原因になります（電池を取り出す際、やけどには十分ご注意くだ
さい）。
フラッシュを人の目に近づけて発光しないでください。一時的に視力に影響することがあります。
特に乳幼児を撮影するときは気をつけてください。
カメラを水中に落としたり、内部に水または金属や異物などが入ったときは、ただちに電池を取り
出してください。発熱・発火の原因になります。
引火性の高いガスが充満している場所や、ガソリン、ベンジン、シンナーなどの近くでカメラを使
用しないでください。爆発や発火・やけどの原因になります。
カメラは乳幼児の手の届かないところに置いてください。乳幼児が誤ってストラップを首に巻き付
けると、窒息する原因になります。
電池の分解、加熱、火中への投入、ショートは絶対にしないでください。破裂の原因になります。
指定以外の電池を使わないでください。発熱・発火の原因になります。
 電池は乳幼児の手の届かないところに置いてください。乳幼児が誤って飲み込む原因になります。
万一飲み込んだ場合には、ただちに医師の診察を受けてください。
付属の接写レンズを通して太陽を見ないでください。失明の原因になります。
注 意
カメラをぬらしたり、ぬれた手で触ったりしないでください。感電の原因となることがあります。
自転車や自動車・列車などを運転している人に向けて、フラッシュ発光撮影をしないでください。
交通事故などの原因となることがあります。
電池の C D を誤って装てんしないようにご注意ください。電池の破裂、液もれにより、発火、け
がや周囲を汚損する原因となることがあります。
カメラの内側の可動部に触れないでください。けがの原因となることがあります。
カメラを使用するときは、必ず電池ぶたを取り付けてください。電池ぶたが外れていると、けがの
原因となることがあります。
付属の接写レンズを太陽光の当たる場所に放置しないでください。太陽光が集光した場合には高温
になり、発火ややけどの原因になる恐れがあります。
このマークは、安全性、衛生、環境及び消費者保護に関する EU（欧州連合）の要求事項
を、製品が満足していることを証明するものです。（CE とはヨーロッパ認定（Conformité
Européenne）の略）
取扱上のお願い
カメラの取り扱い
1カメラは精密機械ですから、水にぬらしたり、落としたりしてショックを与えないでください。また、砂の掛
かりやすいところには置かないでください。
2市販のストラップをご使用になる場合は、ストラップの強度をご確認の上、ご使用ください。携帯電話、
PHS 用ストラップは軽量機器用ですので、ご使用の際は特にご注意ください。
3長期間お使いにならないときは、電池を取り出して、湿気、熱、ほこりの影響の少ないところに保管して
ください。
4ファインダーなどが汚れたら、ブロアーブラシでほこりを払い、柔らかい布で軽くふきとってください。
5汚れをふきとるのにシンナー、アルコールなどの溶剤は使用しないでください。
6フィルム室に汚れやほこりがあると、フィルムを傷つけることがあります。特にカメラ内部の清掃は常に心
掛けてください 。
7閉めきった自動車の中や、高温の場所、湿気のある場所、海岸などに長時間放置しないでください。
8ナフタリンなど防虫剤のガスは、カメラにもフィルムにも有害ですから、たんすなどへの収納は避けてくだ
さい。
9このカメラはマイクロコンピューターによって制御されているため、ごくまれにカメラが誤作動する場合が
あります。このようなときは、電池をいったん取り出し、再度入れ直してください。
0このカメラの使用温度範囲は＋ 5℃〜＋ 40℃です。
フ ィ ル ム 、写 真 の 取 り 扱 い
フィルム、写真の取り扱いかたについては、フジフイルムインスタントカラーフィルムinstaxminiの取扱説
明書を参照してください。
1フィルムは、涼しい乾燥した場所に保管してください。特に閉め切った自動車の中などの極端に高温の場
所に長時間放置しないでください。
2カメラに入れたフィルムは、できるだけ早く撮影してください。
3フィルムを極端に温度の低い場所や高い場所に置いてしまった場合は、通常の温度になじんでから撮影し
てください 。
4フィルムは有効期限内にお使いください。
5空港の預け入れ荷物検査などでの強いＸ線照射を避けてください。未使用のフィルムにカブリなどの影響
が出る場合があります。手荷物としての機内持ち込みをおすすめします（詳しくは各空港でご確認くださ
い ）。
6写真は強い光を避け、涼しく乾燥した場所に保存してください。
7フィルムに穴をあけたり、破いたり、切ったりしないでください。フィルムが損傷した場合は、使用しない
でください 。

用しないでください。
• フィルムパックを入れるときは、フィルムパック背面の 2 カ所の長方形の穴は絶対に押さないでく
ださい。
• フィルムを使い切るまでは、フィルムパック蓋を開けないで下さい。途中で開けると、フィルムが
感光して白くなり、写真が写りません。
• 有効期限を過ぎたフィルムは絶対に使用しないでください（故障の原因となります）。

カメラを構え、構図を決めて、シャッターボタンを押
します。
• 撮影対象から 0.6m 以上離れて撮影してくださ
い。また、フラッシュの光が届く範囲は 0.6m
〜 2.7m です。
• 0.6m より被写体に近づくとピントが合いませ
ん。接近して撮影したい場合には、接写レンズ
をご使用ください。接写レンズを使用すると、
35cm 〜 50cm まで接近して撮影することが
できます。
• 近距離撮影（接写レンズ使用時を含む）をすると、
視差の影響により、ファインダーの中心部に見
えた被写体がプリントでは右上にずれます。
カメラを構えるときの注意
• 横位置撮影では、フラッシュ発光部が上になるように構えてください。
• フラッシュ撮影が禁止されている場所では使用しないでください。
• 指やストラップが受光部、フラッシュ発光部、撮影レンズ、フィルム出口に掛からないよ
うに注意してください。
• 構えるときはレンズ部を持たないでください。写真が正しく写らない場合があります。
• ファインダーをのぞく時は、ファインダー内の○が中央に見えるように、正面からのぞい
てください
• シャッターボタンを押すときは、撮影レンズに触れないように注意してください。

フラッシュを人の目に近づけて発光しないでください。一時的に視力に影響することがあります。
特に乳幼児を撮影するときは気をつけてください。
カメラを水中に落としたり、内部に水または金属や異物などが入ったときは、ただちに電池を取り
出してください。発熱・発火の原因になります。
引火性の高いガスが充満している場所や、ガソリン、ベンジン、シンナーなどの近くでカメラを使
用しないでください。爆発や発火・やけどの原因になります。
カメラは乳幼児の手の届かないところに置いてください。乳幼児が誤ってストラップを首に巻き付
けると、窒息する原因になります。
電池の分解、加熱、火中への投入、ショートは絶対にしないでください。破裂の原因になります。
指定以外の電池を使わないでください。発熱・発火の原因になります。
 電池は乳幼児の手の届かないところに置いてください。乳幼児が誤って飲み込む原因になります。
万一飲み込んだ場合には、ただちに医師の診察を受けてください。
付属の接写レンズを通して太陽を見ないでください。失明の原因になります。
注 意
カメラをぬらしたり、ぬれた手で触ったりしないでください。感電の原因となることがあります。
自転車や自動車・列車などを運転している人に向けて、フラッシュ発光撮影をしないでください。
交通事故などの原因となることがあります。
電池の C D を誤って装てんしないようにご注意ください。電池の破裂、液もれにより、発火、け
がや周囲を汚損する原因となることがあります。
カメラの内側の可動部に触れないでください。けがの原因となることがあります。
カメラを使用するときは、必ず電池ぶたを取り付けてください。電池ぶたが外れていると、けがの
原因となることがあります。
付属の接写レンズを太陽光の当たる場所に放置しないでください。太陽光が集光した場合には高温
になり、発火ややけどの原因になる恐れがあります。

取扱上のお願い
カメラの取り扱い
1カメラは精密機械ですから、水にぬらしたり、落としたりしてショックを与えないでください。また、砂の掛
かりやすいところには置かないでください。
2市販のストラップをご使用になる場合は、ストラップの強度をご確認の上、ご使用ください。携帯電話、
PHS 用ストラップは軽量機器用ですので、ご使用の際は特にご注意ください。
3長期間お使いにならないときは、電池を取り出して、湿気、熱、ほこりの影響の少ないところに保管して
ください。
4ファインダーなどが汚れたら、ブロアーブラシでほこりを払い、柔らかい布で軽くふきとってください。
5汚れをふきとるのにシンナー、アルコールなどの溶剤は使用しないでください。
6フィルム室に汚れやほこりがあると、フィルムを傷つけることがあります。特にカメラ内部の清掃は常に心
掛けてください 。
7閉めきった自動車の中や、高温の場所、湿気のある場所、海岸などに長時間放置しないでください。
8ナフタリンなど防虫剤のガスは、カメラにもフィルムにも有害ですから、たんすなどへの収納は避けてくだ
さい。
9このカメラはマイクロコンピューターによって制御されているため、ごくまれにカメラが誤作動する場合が
あります。このようなときは、電池をいったん取り出し、再度入れ直してください。
0このカメラの使用温度範囲は＋ 5℃〜＋ 40℃です。

1フィルムは、涼しい乾燥した場所に保管してください。特に閉め切った自動車の中などの極端に高温の場
所に長時間放置しないでください。
2カメラに入れたフィルムは、できるだけ早く撮影してください。
3フィルムを極端に温度の低い場所や高い場所に置いてしまった場合は、通常の温度になじんでから撮影し
てください 。
4フィルムは有効期限内にお使いください。
5空港の預け入れ荷物検査などでの強いＸ線照射を避けてください。未使用のフィルムにカブリなどの影響
が出る場合があります。手荷物としての機内持ち込みをおすすめします（詳しくは各空港でご確認くださ
い ）。
6写真は強い光を避け、涼しく乾燥した場所に保存してください。
7フィルムに穴をあけたり、破いたり、切ったりしないでください。フィルムが損傷した場合は、使用しない
でください 。

取扱上のお願い
カメラの取り扱い
1カメラは精密機械ですから、水にぬらしたり、落としたりしてショックを与えないでください。また、砂の掛
かりやすいところには置かないでください。
2市販のストラップをご使用になる場合は、ストラップの強度をご確認の上、ご使用ください。携帯電話、
PHS 用ストラップは軽量機器用ですので、ご使用の際は特にご注意ください。
3長期間お使いにならないときは、電池を取り出して、湿気、熱、ほこりの影響の少ないところに保管して
ください。
4ファインダーなどが汚れたら、ブロアーブラシでほこりを払い、柔らかい布で軽くふきとってください。
5汚れをふきとるのにシンナー、アルコールなどの溶剤は使用しないでください。
6フィルム室に汚れやほこりがあると、フィルムを傷つけることがあります。特にカメラ内部の清掃は常に心
掛けてください 。
7閉めきった自動車の中や、高温の場所、湿気のある場所、海岸などに長時間放置しないでください。
8ナフタリンなど防虫剤のガスは、カメラにもフィルムにも有害ですから、たんすなどへの収納は避けてくだ
さい。
9このカメラはマイクロコンピューターによって制御されているため、ごくまれにカメラが誤作動する場合が
あります。このようなときは、電池をいったん取り出し、再度入れ直してください。
0このカメラの使用温度範囲は＋ 5℃〜＋ 40℃です。

1フィルムは、涼しい乾燥した場所に保管してください。特に閉め切った自動車の中などの極端に高温の場
所に長時間放置しないでください。
2カメラに入れたフィルムは、できるだけ早く撮影してください。
3フィルムを極端に温度の低い場所や高い場所に置いてしまった場合は、通常の温度になじんでから撮影し
てください 。
4フィルムは有効期限内にお使いください。
5空港の預け入れ荷物検査などでの強いＸ線照射を避けてください。未使用のフィルムにカブリなどの影響
が出る場合があります。手荷物としての機内持ち込みをおすすめします（詳しくは各空港でご確認くださ
い ）。
6写真は強い光を避け、涼しく乾燥した場所に保存してください。
7フィルムに穴をあけたり、破いたり、切ったりしないでください。フィルムが損傷した場合は、使用しない
でください 。

• フィルムパックを入れるときは、フィルムパック背面の 2 カ所の長方形の穴は絶対に押さないでく
ださい。
• フィルムを使い切るまでは、フィルムパック蓋を開けないで下さい。途中で開けると、フィルムが
感光して白くなり、写真が写りません。
• 有効期限を過ぎたフィルムは絶対に使用しないでください（故障の原因となります）。

カメラを構え、構図を決めて、シャッターボタンを押
します。
• 撮影対象から 0.6m 以上離れて撮影してくださ
い。また、フラッシュの光が届く範囲は 0.6m
〜 2.7m です。
• 0.6m より被写体に近づくとピントが合いませ
ん。接近して撮影したい場合には、接写レンズ
をご使用ください。接写レンズを使用すると、
35cm 〜 50cm まで接近して撮影することが
できます。
• 近距離撮影（接写レンズ使用時を含む）をすると、
視差の影響により、ファインダーの中心部に見
えた被写体がプリントでは右上にずれます。
カメラを構えるときの注意
• 横位置撮影では、フラッシュ発光部が上になるように構えてください。
• フラッシュ撮影が禁止されている場所では使用しないでください。
• 指やストラップが受光部、フラッシュ発光部、撮影レンズ、フィルム出口に掛からないよ
うに注意してください。
• 構えるときはレンズ部を持たないでください。写真が正しく写らない場合があります。
• ファインダーをのぞく時は、ファインダー内の○が中央に見えるように、正面からのぞい
てください

You can photograph objects close-up, and can photograph yourself using the self-portrait mirror.
Attach the close-up lens to the
camera lens so that the tabs on the
back click into place.
Hold the camera so that the “O”mark
in the viewnder is on the upper right
of the center of the subject (see the
illustration above), then take a photo.
Grasp both sides of the close-up
lens, then pull it out straight.
WARNING
t Do not look through the close-up lens at the sun or other strong light. Blindness or vision problems could result.
Caution
t Do not leave the close-up lens in places exposed to strong sunlight. Personal injury or re could result if the lens should
accidentally concentrate the sunbeams on an object or a person.
t Switch on the camera before you attach/detach the close-up lens; otherwise the lens cover may not work correctly.
t Never turn the close-up lens when you attach/detach it; otherwise, the tabs on the back may be broken.
Hold the camera securely

Caution
t Make sure that the batteries are installed before loading the lm pack.
t Avoid direct sunlight when loading the lm pack.
t Do not use any instant color lm other than FUJIFILM INSTAX mini lm.
t When you load the lm pack, never press the two rectangular holes on the back.
t Do not open the back cover until you have used up the lm; otherwise, the rest of the lm is exposed and turns
white. The lm can no longer be used.
t Never use a lm pack beyond its shelf life; otherwise, it may damage the camera.
t For details, refer to the instructions and warnings on FUJIFILM INSTAX mini lm.
Hold the camera, conrm the desired composition of the nal image,
then press the shutter button.
t Keep a distance from the subject of at least 0.6 m. The ash has an
eective range of between 0.6 m and 2.7m.
t The subject will be out of focus using the regular lens if the
distance is less than 0.6 m. Use the close-up lens for short-distance
photography. Using it enables you to photograph the subject
between 35 cm and 50 cm.
t In short-distance photography (including photography using the
provided close-up lens), the center of the subject in the viewnder
will be on the upper right on the actual print.
Caution on holding the camera
t For horizontal image, hold the camera with the ash lampface at the top.
t Do not take pictures where ash photography is forbidden.
t Be careful so that your ngers or the strap do not cover the light sensor, ash lampface, ash, lens, or lm ejection
slot.
t Do not grasp the lens barrel when positioning the camera; otherwise, the nished print may not look as expected.
t Look into the viewnder so that the“O” mark appears in the center.
t Be careful not to touch the lens surface when you press the shutter button.

example, the strap could become wrapped around a child’s neck and cause choking.)
Never take apart the batteries. Do not subject them to heat, throw them into an open re, or attempt to short-circuit them.
Doing so could result in the batteries exploding or splitting open causing burns or re.
Only use specied batteries in this product. Use of incorrect type of batteries could cause explosion. Dispose of used
batteries according to battery disposal instructions.
Make sure batteries are stored in a safe, secure place and well out of the reach of any infants, young children or pets. Improper
storage could result in a child swallowing a battery. (If a child swallows a battery, call a doctor or a hospital right away.)
Do not look through the close-up lens at the sun or other strong light. Blindness or vision problems could result.
Never get this product wet or handle it with wet hands. Doing so may result in an electric shock.
Never take ash photographs of people riding bicycles, driving cars or riding a horse. The ash can distract the driver and
frighten the animal, possibly causing an accident.
Make sure that the battery Cand Dpolarities are installed correctly in the camera. A damaged battery or electrolyte
leakage may cause a re, injury, and contaminate the environment.
Do not touch moving parts inside the camera. You may be injured.
When using the camera, make sure that the battery cover is attached; otherwise, you may be injured.

COMMON SENSE CAMERA CARE
CAMERA CARE
1Your camera is a precision instrument. Do not get it wet or drop it. Also, do not expose to sand.
2Do not use a strap made for cellular phones or other similar electronic products. These straps are usually too weak to hold your
camera securely. For safety, use only straps designed for your camera, and use only as specically intended and instructed.
3If you are not using your camera for a long interval, unload the batteries and keep it where it will be safe from heat, dust, and
moisture.
4Remove soil and dust from the lens, viewnder window, etc. with an air blower and by wiping lightly with a piece of soft cloth.
5Do not use solvent such as thinner and alcohol to remove soil.
6Keep the lm chamber and camera interior clean to avoid damaging lms.
7In hot weather, do not leave your camera in a closed car or on the beach, and do not leave it in moist places.
8Moth repellent gas such as naphthalene adversely aects your camera and lms. Avoid keeping your camera or lms in a chest
with mothballs.

Your camera is computer-controlled. If you should experience an operational issue, remove the batteries and then reload them .

INSTAX mini FILM AND PRINT CARE

Keep the lm in a cool and dry place. Do not leave the lm in a place where the temperature is extremely high (e.g., in a closed car).
2When you load a lm pack, use the lm as soon as possible.
3If the lm has been kept in a place where the temperature is extremely high or low, bring it to room temperature before start-
ing to take pictures.
4Be sure to use the lm before the expiration or“Use Before”date.
5Avoid airport checked luggage inspection and other strong X-ray illumination. The eect of fogging, etc. may appear on un-
used lm. We recommend that you carry the camera and/or the lm onto the aircraft as carry-on luggage. (Check with each
airport for more information).
6Avoiding strong light, keep the developed prints in a cool and dry place.
7Do not puncture, tear, or cut INSTAX mini lm. If lm becomes damaged, do not use.

Taking a lighter (Hi-Key) picture

This camera automatically determines an appropriate brightness for taking any given picture, and informs you by lighting the
corresponding lamp.
To take a lighter (Hi-key) picture, set the position of the brightness adjustment dial to the position of the mode darker than the
mode for which the lamp on the dial lights.
Caution
Do not use the (Hi-key) function outside; otherwise, the picture may be much
lighter (whiter) than you intend.

COMMON SENSE CAMERA CARE
CAMERA CARE
1Your camera is a precision instrument. Do not get it wet or drop it. Also, do not expose to sand.
2Do not use a strap made for cellular phones or other similar electronic products. These straps are usually too weak to hold your
camera securely. For safety, use only straps designed for your camera, and use only as specically intended and instructed.
3If you are not using your camera for a long interval, unload the batteries and keep it where it will be safe from heat, dust, and
moisture.
4Remove soil and dust from the lens, viewnder window, etc. with an air blower and by wiping lightly with a piece of soft cloth.
5Do not use solvent such as thinner and alcohol to remove soil.
6Keep the lm chamber and camera interior clean to avoid damaging lms.
7In hot weather, do not leave your camera in a closed car or on the beach, and do not leave it in moist places.

corresponding lamp.
To take a lighter (Hi-key) picture, set the position of the brightness adjustment dial to the position of the mode darker than the

CAMERA CARE
1Your camera is a precision instrument. Do not get it wet or drop it. Also, do not expose to sand.
2Do not use a strap made for cellular phones or other similar electronic products. These straps are usually too weak to hold your
camera securely. For safety, use only straps designed for your camera, and use only as specically intended and instructed.
3If you are not using your camera for a long interval, unload the batteries and keep it where it will be safe from heat, dust, and
moisture.
4Remove soil and dust from the lens, viewnder window, etc. with an air blower and by wiping lightly with a piece of soft cloth.
5Do not use solvent such as thinner and alcohol to remove soil.
6Keep the lm chamber and camera interior clean to avoid damaging lms.
7In hot weather, do not leave your camera in a closed car or on the beach, and do not leave it in moist places.
8Moth repellent gas such as naphthalene adversely aects your camera and lms. Avoid keeping your camera or lms in a chest
with mothballs.

Keep the lm in a cool and dry place. Do not leave the lm in a place where the temperature is extremely high (e.g., in a closed car).
2When you load a lm pack, use the lm as soon as possible.

4Be sure to use the lm before the expiration or“Use Before”date.
5Avoid airport checked luggage inspection and other strong X-ray illumination. The eect of fogging, etc. may appear on un-

Taking a lighter (Hi-Key) picture

This camera automatically determines an appropriate brightness for taking any given picture, and informs you by lighting the
corresponding lamp.
To take a lighter (Hi-key) picture, set the position of the brightness adjustment dial to the position of the mode darker than the
mode for which the lamp on the dial lights.
Caution
Do not use the (Hi-key) function outside; otherwise, the picture may be much
lighter (whiter) than you intend.

photography. Using it enables you to photograph the subject
between 35 cm and 50 cm.
t In short-distance photography (including photography using the
provided close-up lens), the center of the subject in the viewnder
will be on the upper right on the actual print.

t For horizontal image, hold the camera with the ash lampface at the top.

Make sure batteries are stored in a safe, secure place and well out of the reach of any infants, young children or pets. Improper
storage could result in a child swallowing a battery. (If a child swallows a battery, call a doctor or a hospital right away.)
Do not look through the close-up lens at the sun or other strong light. Blindness or vision problems could result.
Never get this product wet or handle it with wet hands. Doing so may result in an electric shock.
Never take ash photographs of people riding bicycles, driving cars or riding a horse. The ash can distract the driver and
frighten the animal, possibly causing an accident.
Make sure that the battery Cand Dpolarities are installed correctly in the camera. A damaged battery or electrolyte
leakage may cause a re, injury, and contaminate the environment.
Do not touch moving parts inside the camera. You may be injured.
When using the camera, make sure that the battery cover is attached; otherwise, you may be injured.
Do not leave the close-up lens in places exposed to strong sunlight. Personal injury or re could result if the lens should
accidentally concentrate the sunbeams on an object or a person.

COMMON SENSE CAMERA CARE
CAMERA CARE
1Your camera is a precision instrument. Do not get it wet or drop it. Also, do not expose to sand.
2Do not use a strap made for cellular phones or other similar electronic products. These straps are usually too weak to hold your
camera securely. For safety, use only straps designed for your camera, and use only as specically intended and instructed.
3If you are not using your camera for a long interval, unload the batteries and keep it where it will be safe from heat, dust, and
moisture.
4Remove soil and dust from the lens, viewnder window, etc. with an air blower and by wiping lightly with a piece of soft cloth.
5Do not use solvent such as thinner and alcohol to remove soil.
6Keep the lm chamber and camera interior clean to avoid damaging lms.
7In hot weather, do not leave your camera in a closed car or on the beach, and do not leave it in moist places.
8Moth repellent gas such as naphthalene adversely aects your camera and lms. Avoid keeping your camera or lms in a chest
with mothballs.

Your camera is computer-controlled. If you should experience an operational issue, remove the batteries and then reload them .

INSTAX mini FILM AND PRINT CARE

Keep the lm in a cool and dry place. Do not leave the lm in a place where the temperature is extremely high (e.g., in a closed car).
2When you load a lm pack, use the lm as soon as possible.
3If the lm has been kept in a place where the temperature is extremely high or low, bring it to room temperature before start-
ing to take pictures.
4Be sure to use the lm before the expiration or“Use Before”date.
5Avoid airport checked luggage inspection and other strong X-ray illumination. The eect of fogging, etc. may appear on un-
used lm. We recommend that you carry the camera and/or the lm onto the aircraft as carry-on luggage. (Check with each
airport for more information).
6Avoiding strong light, keep the developed prints in a cool and dry place.
7Do not puncture, tear, or cut INSTAX mini lm. If lm becomes damaged, do not use.

lm cover (black) is ejected, and the lm
counter display on the back changes from
“S” to “10”.
After the lm cover has been ejected

grasp the edge of the lm, then take it
out.

Taking a lighter (Hi-Key) picture

This camera automatically determines an appropriate brightness for taking any given picture, and informs you by lighting the
corresponding lamp.
To take a lighter (Hi-key) picture, set the position of the brightness adjustment dial to the position of the mode darker than the
mode for which the lamp on the dial lights.
Caution
Do not use the (Hi-key) function outside; otherwise, the picture may be much
lighter (whiter) than you intend.
