to a diameter according to the cutting bar length. Only materials made of
wood may be processed.
Use adequate protective equipment during use according to the operating
instructions. All other applications such as professional tree care within the
tree are explicitly excluded. The user/operator and not the manufacturer is
liable for damage or injury resulting from misuse. Only saw-chain/cutting-
bar combinations suitable for the device as specified in the operating
instructions may be used. Part of the intended use is also the observance of
the safety instructions and the operating instructions in the operating
manual. Persons who operate and maintain the device must be familiar with
it and with possible dangers. Furthermore, the applicable accident
prevention regulations must be strictly adhered to. Other general rules in
occupational medicine and safety areas must be observed. Changes to the
device exclude any liability of the manufacturer and any resulting damage
completely and lead to the guarantee becoming void. This device is only
intended for use in open areas (garden).
Residual risks
Even when the tool is used properly, there is always a
certain residual risk that cannot be excluded. The following potential
hazards can be derived from the type and design of the tool:
-Contact with the unprotected saw chain (cutting injuries)
-Reaching into the running saw chain (cutting injury)
-Unforeseen, sudden movement of the saw-bar (cuts)
-Centrifuging parts of the saw chain

the manufacturer. This can be caused by the following factors, which should
be considered before and during use:
If the device is used correctly
•Is the way of cutting the material or how it is processed correct?
•Is the condition of use of the device in order Sharpness of the cutting
tool or correct cutting tool?
•Are the handles mounted with optional vibration grips and are firmly
attached to the device body?
All the above precautions cannot exclude the risk of white finger disease or
carpal tunnel syndrome. Long-term and regular users are therefore
recommended to closely monitor the condition of their hands and fingers.
Consult a doctor immediately if any of the above symptoms occur. If you
experience an unpleasant feeling or discoloration of the skin on your hands
while using the device, stop working immediately. Take sufficient breaks
from work. Failure to take adequate breaks can result in hand-arm vibration
syndrome.
An estimation of the degree of loading in relation to the work or use of the
device should be made and appropriate breaks in work should be taken. In
this way, the degree of stress can be significantly reduced during the entire
working time. Minimize your risk of being exposed to vibrations. Maintain
this device according to the instructions in the operating manual.
If the device is to be used frequently, you should contact your dealer and
obtain anti-vibration accessories (handles) if necessary.

All maintenance work on the chainsaw - with the
exception of the work listed in the operating
instructions - must be carried out by qualified
maintenance personnel
Be especially careful when cutting bushes and
undergrowth, as thin twigs can get caught in the
chain and throw you off balance or cause injury.
When cutting a branch that is under load, pay
attention to the kickback so that the rebounding
branch does not cause injury when it is cut.
When sawing, always use the claw stop on the
tree trunk.
Pay particular attention to the kickback. This is a
jerky upward movement of the guide rail caused
by the tip of the guide rail touching a solid
object. This kickback is dangerous and can cause
you to lose control of the device.
Attention must always be observed:
- exhaust fumes, lubricating oil vapour and sawdust are dangerous!
- Perform the cleaning and maintenance work before storage.
- Danger of improper maintenance, use of non-compliant spare parts, or
removal or modification of the safety devices can cause damage to the
equipment and serious injury to the person working with it.
- Check regularly that the cutting tool stops rotating when the engine is
idling.
- The device is not intended to be used by children.
- Please note that national regulations may restrict the use of the device.
- Inspect the device before each use and after dropping or other shocks to
determine significant damage or defects.
- It is necessary to receive training before use.
- Use cutting tools recommended by the manufacturer and suitable
protectors. The use of other insert tools and other accessories may cause a
risk of injury to the user. Always keep the chainsaw in good operating
condition.
- The chainsaw is equipped with a claw stop. The claw stop is for safe and
easy operation of the chainsaw. It increases your stability when carrying out
vertical sawing work.
Warning! Always use the claw stop when using. It can be anchored in the
wood and can thus be used as a pivot point.
Always place the saw flat and close to the claw fence to avoid danger.
- Always switch off the device before adjusting and mounting the device.
- Keep the chainsaw in good operating condition.

PRECAUTIONS FOR CHAINSAW USERS WITH REGARD TO KICKBACK
CAUTION Kickback of the chainsaw can be caused by contact of the guide
bar tip with a solid object, or if the wood to be cut is compressed and the
guide bar becomes jammed during cutting.
Contact of the tip of the guide rail with a solid object can in some cases
cause a lightning fast kickback, throwing the guide rail backwards and
upwards towards the operator. Pinching the saw-chain at the upper part of
the guide bar may cause it to bounce back and towards the operator with a
quick movement. If either of these events occurs, you could lose control of
the chainsaw, which could result in serious injury.
Do not rely solely on the built-in safety features of your chainsaw. As a user
of this equipment, you must take some precautions to ensure that all work
with the saw can be performed without accident or injury
If you become reasonably familiar with the causes and characteristics of
kickback, you will reduce or eliminate the element of surprise, which
eliminates a common cause of accidents.
When the engine is running, always hold the
chainsaw firmly with both hands, the right hand on
the rear handle and the left hand on the front
handle. Grasp the handles firmly with the whole
hand. A firm grip reduces the effect of the kickback
and helps you to keep the device under control.
Make sure that the working area is free of
obstacles. Make sure that when cutting, the tip of
the guide rail does not come into contact with other
logs, branches or obstacles, which could cause an
accident.
Always carry out the cutting process at a high
motor speed.
When cutting, ensure good balance and do not
extend your arms too far forward, and do not cut
above shoulder height.

standstill. Put on cut-resistant gloves and
remove the blockage. If the saw-bar must be
removed, follow the instructions as described in
the chapter on setting up the device. After
removing and reinstalling the device, a test run
must be carried out. If vibrations or mechanical
noises are detected, stop working and contact
your dealer.
ATTENTION
A new chain extends at the beginning. Check and readjust the tension
frequently. A loose chain wears quickly and can easily slip off the guide bar.
CHECKING THE CHAIN TENSION
- The chain tension should be checked frequently during work and adjusted
if necessary.
- Tension the chain as tight as possible, but in such a way that it can still be
easily pulled along the guide rail by hand.
