- Hold the power tool only by its insulated grip surfaces, as the chain saw may come into contact with
concealed power lines. Contact of the saw
a live wire can put metal parts of the device under-voltage and lead to an electric shock with a live
wire that can put metal parts of the device under-voltage and lead to an electric shock.
- During the cutting process, make sure that no persons (especially children) or animals are in the
working area.
-While the saw is running, keep all parts of the body away from the saw-chain. Before starting the
saw, make sure that the saw-chain does not touch anything. When working with a high branch
cutter, a moment of carelessness can cause clothing or body parts to be caught by the saw chain.
- Wear protective goggles and hearing protection. Further protective equipment for the head, hands,
legs, and feet is recommended. Suitable protective clothing reduces the risk of injury from flying
chips and accidental contact with the saw chain.
- Do not work with the pole saw on a tree. There is a risk of injury when operating on a tree.
- Only use the device in dry weather conditions. Keep it away from rain or moisture.
- Always ensure a firm stand and only use the pole saw when standing on firm, safe, and level
ground. Slippery surfaces or unstable standing surfaces, such as on a ladder, can lead to loss of
balance or loss of control over the high branch cutter.
- Make sure that the chain saw does not come into contact with the ground or other objects during
operation.
-When cutting a branch that is under tension, expect it to spring back. If the tension in the wood
fibers is released, the tensioned branch may hit the operator and/or snatch the control away from
the high branch cutter.
- Be especially careful when cutting undergrowth and young
trees. The thin material can get caught in the saw-chain and strike you or throw you off balance.
- Wait until the power tool has stopped before putting it down.
- Never leave the device unattended during work interruptions and store it in a safe place.
- Always switch off the pole saw when transporting to other workstations.
- Never touch the pole saw on the cutting blade.

-Keep handles dry, clean, and free from oil and grease. Greasy, oily grips are slippery and lead to loss
of control.
- Only saw wood. Do not use the pole saw for work for which it is not intended. Example: Do not use
the pole saw for sawing plastic, masonry, or building materials that are not made of wood. Using the
pole saw for work not following the regulations can lead to dangerous situations.
- Operate the device only in the condition prescribed and delivered by
the manufacturer. Unauthorized modifications to the device exclude the manufacturer's liability for

spare parts or spare parts approved by the manufacturer. When replacing, please follow the
installation instructions supplied and remove the cordless high hedge trimmer first.
- Have repairs carried out exclusively by a qualified specialist or a specialist workshop.
Causes and prevention of a kickback
Kickback may occur if the tip of the saw-bar touches an object
or when the wood bends and the saw-chain jams in the cut. In some cases, contact with the bar tip
may cause an unexpected backward reaction, in which the saw-bar is knocked upwards and in the
direction of the operator.
Jamming the saw-chain at the upper edge of the saw-bar can quickly push the bar back in the
direction of the operator. Any of these reactions can cause you to lose control of the saw and
possibly injure yourself seriously. Do not rely solely on the safety devices built into the chain saw. As
a user of a chain saw,
you should take various measures to be able to work without
accidents, and injuries.
A kickback is the result of incorrect or faulty use of the power tool. It can be prevented by
appropriate precautions as described below:
- Hold the pole saw with both hands, with thumb and fingers around the handles of the pole saw. Put
your body and arms in a position where you can withstand the recoil forces. If suitable measures are
taken, the operator can control the recoil forces. Never release the pole saw.
- Avoid an abnormal posture. This prevents unintentional contact with the bar tip and provides
better control of the chainsaw in unexpected
situations.
- Always use replacement bars and saw chains specified by the manufacturer. Incorrect replacement
bars and saw chains can cause the chain to break and/or kickback.
- Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the sharpening and
maintenance of the saw-chain. Too low depth limiters increase the tendency to recoil.

After use
- Turn off the device, remove the battery, and then place the device in a safe place.
- Do not store the device within reach of children.
- Make sure that the ventilation slots of the device are free of dirt.
- Spare parts must meet the requirements specified by the manufacturer.
Therefore only use original spare parts or spare parts approved by the manufacturer. When replacing
the battery, please follow the installation instructions provided and remove the battery
first.
- Have repairs carried out exclusively by a qualified specialist or a specialist workshop.
Safety instructions for the charger
- Keep the charger away from rain or moisture. The penetration of water into a charger increases the
risk of electric shock.
- Keep the charger clean. There is a risk of electric shock from soiling.
- Check the charger, cable, and plug before each use. Do not use the charger if you notice any
damage. Do not open the charger yourself and have it repaired only by qualified personnel and only
with original spare parts.
Damaged chargers, cables, and connectors increase the risk of electric shock.
- Do not place objects on the charger or place them on soft surfaces. There is a risk of fire.
- Always check that the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage indicated on the charger's
nameplate.
- Never use the charger if the cable, plug, or the device itself is damaged by external influences. Take
the charger to the nearest specialist workshop.
- Never open the charger under any circumstances. Take it to a specialist workshop in the event of a
fault.
Safety Instructions for Li-Ion Batteries
- Do not open the battery. There is a danger of a short circuit.
- Protect the battery from heat, including continuous exposure to sunlight, fire, water, and moisture.
There is a danger of explosion.

- Vapors may escape if the battery is damaged or misused. Supply fresh air and consult a doctor if
you have any complaints. The vapors may irritate the respiratory tract.
- The liquid may leak from the battery if misused. Avoid any contact with it. In case of accidental
contact, rinse with water. If the liquid gets into your eyes, seek additional medical attention. Leaking
battery fluid may cause skin
irritation or burns.
- Only use original rechargeable batteries with the voltage specified on the rating plate of
your power tool. When using other batteries, e.g., imitation, reconditioned batteries, or batteries
from different manufacturers, there is a risk of injury and material damage due to exploding
batteries.
- The battery voltage must match the battery charging voltage of the charger. Otherwise, there is a
risk of fire and explosion.
- Charge the batteries only with chargers recommended by the manufacturer. A charger that is
suitable for a particular type of battery poses a fire hazard when used with other batteries.
- The battery can be damaged by pointed objects such as nails or screwdrivers or by an external
force. An internal short circuit may occur, and the battery may burn, smoke, explode or overheat.
