Bubble Machine

IMPORTANT
Installer and Users please note:
These instructions should be read carefully and left with the user of the product for future reference.
BEFORE USE
You must inspect the product including its cable and plug for any signs of damage. If the product
is damaged, DO NOT use it, and contact your supplier immediately.
PRODUCT SAFETY
•This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above, and by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision and instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Do not place on carpet or other soft surfaces.
• Do not point the bubble output towards sensitive electronic equipment.
• Do not put anything apart from bubble uid in the tank (except when cleaning as described on
page 4).
• Do not move the unit whilst it is operating. Disconnect from the mains supply before moving.
• For indoor use only.
• Do not use in bathrooms, or in wet or damp locations.
• Do not place the mains lead beneath a carpet or rug.
• Do not allow the cable to hang over the edge of a table.
• Arrange the cable so that it cannot cause a trip hazard.
• The unit must be disconnected from the mains supply before lling or emptying the tank.
• Do not allow uid to enter the rear of the unit. If uid does accidentally enter the rear of the unit
disconnect from the mains supply immediately and consult the technically help line.
• Do not overll the tank.
• Clean any overow/spillages immediately with a damp cloth.
• Fluid may cause spots/bleaching on cloth/upholstery etc.
• Warn people oors and hard surfaces may become slippery when in use.
• Do not drink the bubble uid.
Note:
After prolonged use, the floor immediately in front of the unit may
become slippery.
GENERAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Domestic wiring must be tested periodically by a qualied electrician at least once every 10 years
or at every change of occupancy.
For oce and retail premises, and buildings such as village halls, the wiring must be inspected at
least once every 5 years.
It is recommended that all building be tted with smoke alarms (it is mandatory for new
buildings).

OPERATION
Place the G002GKA on a rm at surface. Ensure that the bubble outlet (at the front) is not
obstructed. Alternatively, the appliance may be suspended from the attached hanging bracket.
Plug the mains lead into a 13 Amp mains socket.
If connecting via an extension lead, make sure that the lead is rated at 3 Amps or more, and that
it is fully unwound.
Move the switch on the rear panel to the ON position to operate
To fill the tank:
Disconnect from the mains supply.
Fill the tank (at the front) as per diagram 1
with Venü Benchmark Bubble Fluid (catalogue
numbers: FL801 for a 1 litre bottle or FL805
for a 5 litre bottle) taking care not to allow any
uid into the rear of the unit. If uid does enter
the rear of the unit, DO NOT use the machine
and consult your supplier. Do not overll the
tank (see diagram 2 for ll level)
To empty the tank:
Disconnect from the mains supply
Use a funnel (not provided) and tip the bubble
machine forwards and sideways as per
diagram 3 so that the unused bubble uid
ows out of the front corner of the tank taking
care not to allow any uid to run into the back
of the unit. Return the unused uid to the
bottle. Dry the tank with a cloth or paper towel
before moving or storing away.

MAINTENANCE
To clean the appliance:
Clean the outside of the unit with a soft damp cloth, with a drop of washing-up liquid.
Empty out any residual bubble uid.
Rinse the tank with water.
If the mains lead is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorised service
centre.
FAULT-FINDING
Bubbles not produced:
Check that the power indicator is illuminated. If not, check that the mains plug is fully inserted
into the mains socket and that the mains socket is functional.
Check that the fan operates and the bubble wheel rotates
Check that the there is bubble uid in the tank.
PAT TESTING
When used in a workplace, this product must be safety-tested yearly by a qualied electrician
(PAT Tested) in order to comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations.
If hired out, it must be PAT tested prior to each hire.
We recommend that it is PAT tested regularly when used in a domestic environment.
DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING
You must not dispose of this appliance with domestic household waste.
Most local authorities have specic collection system for appliances and disposal is free of
charge to the end-user.
When replacing an existing appliance with a similar new appliance your retailer may take the old
appliance for disposal.

If the mains plug needs to be replaced, proceed as follows:
• Connect the brown wire to the terminal labelled “L”.
• Connect the blue wire to the terminal labelled “N”.
• Connect the green-yellow wire to the terminal labelled with the
earth symbol.
• Make sure that the cord-grip is positioned correctly (over the
outer sheath of the cable) and it
fully tightened.
• If the plug is tted with a 13A fuse, replace it by a 5A fuse.

SERVICE WARRANTY
Electrovision guarantees the product free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period
of one year.
Should this unit be operated under conditions other than those recommended, at voltages other
than the voltage indicated on the unit, or any attempts made to service or modify the unit , then
the warranty will be rendered void.
The product you buy may sometimes dier slightly from illustrations. This warranty is in addition
to, and does not aect, your statutory rights.
