Articial Snow Eects Machine
with Wired & Wireless Remote Control and
Built-in LED Light Show

IMPORTANT
Installer and Users please note:
These instructions should be read carefully and left with the user of the product for future
reference.
BEFORE USE
You must inspect the product including its cable and plug for any signs of damage. If the product
is damaged, DO NOT use it, and contact your supplier immediately.
PRODUCT SAFETY
• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above, and by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision and instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards invoived.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Do not place on carpet or other soft surfaces.
• Do not operate the machine if people or animals are within 2m of the output nozzle.
• Do not point the output towards naked ames or other incandescent material.
• Do not point the output towards sensitive electronic equipment.
• Do not put anything apart from Snow uid in the tank (except when cleaning as described on
page 3).
• Do not move the unit whilst it is operating. Disconnect from the mains supply before moving.
• For indoor use only.
• Do not use in bathrooms, wet or damp locations.
• Do not place the mains lead beneath a carpet or rug.
• Do not allow the cable to hang over the edge of a table.
• Arrange the cable so that it cannot cause a trip hazard.
• Never leave the product unattended when plugged in.
NOTES
1) Articial snow is produced using dermatologically safe chemical additives in a water based
solution. The ‘snow’ produced should not cause any irritation or adverse eects but if found
to do so discontinue the use and refer to the COSHH sheet for the snow uid used for care
and treatment.
2) Keep any snow or uid away from the eyes, nose and mouth, contact should be treated in
accordance with the COSHH sheet for the uid.
3) Articial snow may cause discolouration or staining of delicate materials and nishes. If the
unit is to be used in a situation where the snow could come into contact with such materials
then it is recommended that a small area of the item is tested with the snow uid for suitability.
GENERAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Domestic wiring must be tested periodically by a qualied electrician at least once every 10 years
or at every change of occupancy.
For oce and retail premises, and buildings such as village halls, the wiring must be inspected at
least once every 5 years.
We recommend that this unit should be Portable Appliance Tested (PAT) yearly by suitably trained
personnel.
It is recommended that all building be tted with smoke alarms (it is mandatory for new
buildings). Ionisation-type smoke alarms are recommended for buildings where theatrical fog
eects are to be used.

OPERATION
Place the G002GSS on a rm at surface. Ensure that the snow outlet cone (at the front) is not
obstructed and is free to move.
To ll the tank:
The unit should be disconnected from the mains supply.
• Unscrew the lid, and ll with Snow Fluid
• Replace the lid
• Push the lter tube to the bottom of the tank.
• Plug the mains lead into a 13 Amp mains socket.
• If connecting via an extension lead, make sure that the lead is rated at 13 Amps or more, and
that it is fully unwound.
Turn the machine on via the switch on the rear. The switch will illuminate red. The red LED on
the controller will also illuminate. Depress the red button on the wired controller, a green LED will
illuminate on the controller. Turn the knob on the controller to control the speed of the fan. The
snow machine will continue to produce ‘snow’ until switched o via the remote. If the unit runs
out of uid turn o the machine at the remote switch immediately. Running the machine with no
uid risks damaging or seizing the pump and will invalidate any warranty.
This unit is also supplied with a wireless remote control which operates in place of the red button
on the wired remote. To use rst set the desired fan speed using the knob on the wired remote
control then ensure the red button is in the o position. Press the on button on the remote to
operate. The fan and pump will then operate. To switch o press the OFF button.
The unit is supplied with 2 decorative Led’s which add to the snow eect. The LED’s will turn on
when the pump is set above a set level and the unit is switched on.
MAINTENANCE
Clean the outside of the unit with a soft damp cloth, with a drop of washing up liquid.
To clean the machine internally:
• Remove the lid from the tank
• Empty out any excess uid
• Rinse the tank with a 20% solution of white vinegar and distilled water. This will remove any
lime deposits and kill bacteria.
After forty hours’ of use, and before long-term storage clean the tank with the vinegar solution
and then operate the machine with just distilled water (no vinegar) to remove any snow uid from
the pump and tubes.
• Connect the brown wire to the terminal labelled “L”.
• Connect the blue wire to the terminal labelled “N”.
• Connect the green-yellow wire to the terminal
labelled with the earth symbol.
• Make sure that the cord-grip is positioned correctly
(over the outer sheath of the cable) and is fully
tightened.

If the mains lead is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorised service
centre. If the mains plug needs to be replaced, proceed as follows:

FAULT-FINDING
Snow not produced:
• Check that the power indicator switch is illuminated. If not, check that the mains plug is fully
inserted into the mains socket and that the mains socket is functional and the switch is turned
on.
• Check that there is uid in the tank.
Pump is excessively noisy:
• Check that there is uid in the tank.
• If this does not solve the problem, clean the appliance as described in the “Maintenance”
section.
PAT TESTING
When used in a workplace, this product must be safety-tested yearly by a qualied electrician
(PAT Tested) in order to comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations.
If hired out, it must be PAT tested prior to each hire.
We recommend that it is PAT tested regularly when used in a domestic environment.
DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING
You must not dispose of this appliance with domestic household waste. Most local authorities
have specic collection system for appliances and disposal is free of charge to the end-user.
When replacing an existing appliance with a similar new appliance your retailer may take the old
appliance for disposal.

SERVICE WARRANTY
Electrovision guarantees the product free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period
of one year.
Should this unit be operated under conditions other than those recommended, at voltages other
than the voltage indicated on the unit, or any attempts made to service or modify the unit , then
the warranty will be rendered void.
The product you buy may sometimes dier slightly from illustrations. This warranty is in addition
to, and does not aect, your statutory rights.
