1 Safety instruction
1.1 The electric scooter is a recreational transporter. Before mastering riding skills, you need to practice, G-CYCLE is not responsible for
any injuries or damages caused by a rider's inexperience or failure to follow the instructions in this document.
1.2 Please understand that you can reduce the risk by following all the instructions and warnings in this manual, but you cannot
eliminate all the risks. Remember that whenever you ride the electric scooter you risk injury from loss of control, collisions and falls.
When entering into public spaces always comply with the local laws and regulations. As with other vehicles, faster speeds require a
longer braking distance. Sudden braking on low traction surfaces could lead to wheel slip or falls. Be cautious and always keep a safe
distance between you and other people or vehicles when riding. Be alert and slow down when entering unfamiliar areas.
1.3 Always wear a helmet when riding. Use an approved bicycle or skateboard helmet that fits properly with the chin strap in place,
and provides protection for the back of your head.
1.4 Do not attempt your first ride in any area where you might encounter children, pedestrians, pets, vehicles, bicycles, or other
obstacles and potential hazards.
1.5 Respect pedestrians by always yielding the right of way. Pass on the left whenever possible. When approaching a pedestrian from
the front, stay to the right and slow down, avoid startling pedestrians. When approaching from behind, announce yourself and slow
down to walking speed when passing. Please obey local trac laws and regulations if the situation is dierent.
1.6 In places without laws, comply with the safety guidelines outlined in this manual. G-CYCLE is not responsible for any property
damage, personal injury/death, accidents, or legal disputes caused by violations of the safety instructions.
1.7 Do not allow anyone to ride your scooter on his/her own. The safety of new riders is your responsibility. Assist new riders until they
are comfortable with the basic operation of the electric scooter. Make sure each new rider wears a helmet and other protective gear.
1.8 Before each ride check for loose fasteners and each component. lf the scooter makes abnormal sounds or signals an alarm,
immediately stop riding and contact us through support@g-cycle.com for service.
1.9 Be alert! Scan both far ahead and in front of your scooter- your eyes are your best tool for safely avoiding obstacles and low
traction surfaces (including but not limited to wet ground, loose sand, loose gravel, and ice).

1.10 To reduce the risk of injury. you must read and follow all "CAUTION" and "WARNING" notices in this document. Do not ride at an
unsafe speed. Under no circumstance should you ride on roads with motor vehicles. The manufacturer recommends riders be 14+
years old. Always follow these safety instructions:
1.10.1 People who should not ride the Scooter include
(1) Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
(2) Anyone who suers from a disease that puts them at risk if they engage in strenuous physical activity.
(3) Anyone who has problems with balance or with motor skills that would interfere with their ability to maintain balance.
(4) Anyone whose weight is outside the stated limits (sees Specifications).
(5) Pregnant women.
1.10.2 Riders under the age of 18 years old should ride under adult supervision.
1.10.3 Comply with local laws and regulations when riding this product. Do not ride where prohibited by local laws.
1.10.4 To ride safely, you must be able to clearly see what is in front of you and you must be clearly visible to others.
1.10.5 Do not ride in the snow, in the rain, or on roads that are wet, muddy, icy, or that are slippery for any reason. Do not ride over
obstacles (sand, loose gravel, or sticks). Doing so could result in a loss of balance or traction and could cause a fall.
1.11 Do not attempt to charge your scooter if it, the charger, or the power outlet is wet.
1.12 As with any electronic device, use a surge protector when charging to help protect your scooter from damage due to power
surges and voltage spikes. Only use the manufacture supplied charger. Do not use a charger from any other dierent product models.
1.13 Use only G-CYCLE-approved parts and accessories. Do not modify your electric scooter. Modifications to your electric scooter
could interfere with the operation of the electric scooter could result in serious injury and/or damage, and could void the Limited
Warranty.

4 Assemble Your Scooter
Tool you need: M4 Hex wrench (included in the package)

as the figure shows to lock the stem .

Multi-function Description about the Power Button.
1. Turn on/o the scooter. Keep pressing the power button for two seconds to turn it on/o.
2. Turn on/o the lights. After turning on the scooter, quickly press the power button twice to turn o the LED light.
3. Adjust the speed. Press the power button once to adjust the speed. (It has two speed levels, P1 is 9 MPH, P2 is 15 MPH).
4.Change the speedunit (MPH orKM/H). Quickly press the power button three times.
5. Cruise Control Mode. Quickly press the power button four timesto activate the cruise control mode, and then if the speed is
maintained at a certain speed for 8-10 seconds, now you’ll enter into the cruise control mode and you’ll hear the beep sound twice.
When you pull the brake or throttle again, the scooter will end the cruise control mode, and you will hear a beep sound.
6. The power will turn o automatically after 5 minutes of no operation.

6 How to Get Started
6.1 Wear an approved helmet and other protective gear to
minimize any possible injury.
6.2 Power on the scooter and check the battery level indicator.
Charge the scooter if the battery level is low.

6.4 Put another foot on the deck to keep both feet stable.
Press the throttle on your right hand to speed up when you
are balanced.
6.3 Stand on the deck with one foot and push o with another
foot to start gliding. Note: For your safety, the motor will not
engage until the scooter reaches 1.8mph (3km/h).

WARNING:
When braking rapidly you risk serious injury due to loss of traction and falls. Maintain a moderate speed and look out for potential
hazards.
7 Charging
Open the charge port cover.
Close the charge port
cover when finished.
Insert the charge plug.
6.5 Slow down by releasing the throttle , squeezing the brake
to trigger mechanical braking in order to make a sharp brake.

8 Folding
Multi-function Description about the Power Button.
1. Turn on/o the scooter. Keep pressing the power button for two seconds to turn it on/o.

NOTE:
7.1 The battery must be fully charged before use. Only when the battery is fully charged can its use eect be guaranteed. After fully
charging the electric scooter, you should immediately unplug the power supply. Remember not to charge overnight. Overcharge or
undercharge will consume the battery life.
7.2 If you do not use the scooter for a period of time, you should also pay attention to charging the scooter regularly to avoid running
out of battery power. At the same time, be careful not to remove the battery randomly.
7.3 Remember not to wash the scooter with water when the power is turned on. This will cause damage to the scooter and threaten
personal safety. Please make sure that water cannot enter the inside of the machine.
7.4 When placing it, it must be stored reasonably. Do not place it in a place exposed to sunlight or rain, avoid sunlight exposure, and
avoid the rain. After all, it is an electronic product, and it must ensure its safe performance.
7.5 The wheel is the most vulnerable part of an electric scooter, so in daily maintenance, proper inspection and maintenance should be
carried out on the wheel. The user can shake it along the tire axis from time to time and feel its firmness by hand. The tightness of the
screws is also a part of the wheel that must be checked frequently. Only by fully tightening the screws and ensuring the firmness of
the assembly can travel safety be ensured.

b. Firstly check the speed regulating throttle and motor's hall
switch are short circuit or not. Generally it is easier to cause the joint
short circuit after rain aected with damp, so notice the short circuit
of throttle and the motor hall switch. Otherwise there will be a
continuous damage of the replacement controller!
c. If the motor doesn't turn, please inspect the motor's hall switch and
turning handle's signal. Once the power-on, the controller shell is very
hot, generally it is short circuit of the controller internal power tube ,
should immediately cut o the power.

11 Maintenance
(1) Battery maintenance: In order to guarantee the battery life, when the battery level is low, please charge the scooter timely (Note:
When it is not in use for a long time, it is recommended that charge it once a month), if you want to check or replace the battery,
please do it with the assistance of professionals. The most suitable temperature of the battery storage is 59-77°F (15°C-25°C); Don’t
use and place the scooter when the environmental temperature is higher than 104°F (40°C), in order to avoid the lithium battery’s
failure, and even lead to the combustion. Do not place the scooter in the car during the hot seasons, because it may lead to the lithium
battery’s failure or even the combustion.

13 12-Month Warranty
The North America customer could enjoy up to 12 months limited warranty according to the North America law.
For all return shipping, please keep your original product box which can be used for return shipping. The warranty does not include
damage from return shipping in insucient packaging.
Products are not guaranteed against natural wear and deterioration from normal use and aging.
