OVERVIEW

2Section 1 Overview
Overview
The G+ Home Hub is an electrically powered device used within the
G+ Access System to enable non G+ Systems to control G+ Devices.
The G+ Home Hub is wired to a non G+ control system to:
• Receive input commands from the non G+ control system
• Send status of (receive feedback from) suitable G+ Devices to the
non G+ control system.
The G+ Home Hub controls G+ Devices via RF (Radio Frequency) link.
APPLICATIONS
G+ Devices a G+ Home Hub can control AND monitor include:
• 1 x Electric G+ Lockset
OR
• Up to 3 of any combination of the following:
– G+ Smart Boxes with feedback enabled -
Refer to the G+ Smart Box Installation Manual for more information
– G+ enabled Gliderol garage doors with feedback enabled.
Refer to the G+ Gliderol Garage Door Installation Manual for
more information
Additional devices a non G+ System could control via a
G+ Home Hub include:
• Battery G+ Lockset
• G+ Smart Boxes with feedback disabled.
There is no limit to the number of non-feedback G+ devices that can
be simultaneously operated by a single G+ Home Hub.

3Section 1 Overview
NON G+ CONTROL SYSTEMS
Examples of suitable* systems that could activate a G+ Home Hub
include:
• Home automation systems
• Building access systems
* A suitable system is one that activates the G+ Home Hub by a voltage free switch.
NOTE: The installer is responsible for ensuring the compatibility of systems
being connected to the G+ Home Hub.

4Section 1 Overview
FEEDBACK
The G+ Home Hub is capable of sending information about the status
of the device it is controlling to the non G+ Controller, if this information
exists. In this manual this information is referred to as feedback.
Examples of feedback include:
• From the Electric G+ Lockset
– Deadlock Mode
– Privacy Mode
– Passage Mode
– Door Closed
• From the G+ Smart Box
– Garage door up / down
– Alarm on / off
– Gate open / closed
– Lights on / off
Status feedback from the G+ Smart Box is only possible if appropriate
sensors are connected to the G+ Smart Box and feedback is enabled.
Refer to the G+ Smart Box User Guide for more information.
• For the G+ enabled Gliderol Garage Door
– Garage door up / down
The G+ Home Hub communicates feedback by switching its output.
NOTE: The Door Closed signal will indicate ‘door open’ if power is
disconnected to the Electric G+ Lockset.

INSTALLATION,
WIRING AND SETUP

10 Section 2 Installation
Installation
LOCATION
The G+ Home Hub is to be installed in a secure, dry environment out
of direct sunlight.
Do not install the G+ Home Hub in a metal box as this will severely
interfere with RF reception and transmission.
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
The installer should consider strain relief for all cables.
Step 1: Fix Mounting Plate to wall with screws (not supplied)
Step 2: Clip Housing into Mounting Plate
NOTE: The installation location, (walls / materials), can affect the operation
distance between the G+ Home Hub and a G+ Lockset / G+ Smart Box.
This should be checked by the installer prior to installation.

INPUT (from controlling devices)
Function overview
The G+ Home Hub has 3 inputs that control the following:
In the case of a G+ Lockset:
– Input 1: Deadlock Mode
– Input 2: Privacy Mode
– Input 3: Passage Mode
OR
– Input 1: a G+ Smart Box or G+ enabled Gliderol garage door
– Input 2: a G+ Smart Box or G+ enabled Gliderol garage door
– Input 3: a G+ Smart Box or G+ enabled Gliderol garage door
Additional non-feedback devices can be assigned to the 3 inputs.
Refer to the following examples.
Wiring Instructions Guidelines
TAKE CARE - ELECTRICITY KILLS!
Switches, power outlets and other fixed wired products must be installed
by a licensed electrical contractor or similarly qualified person.
NOTE: The installer should consider strain relief for all cables.
NOTE: The installer is responsible for ensuring the compatibility of systems
being connected to the G+ Home Hub.

OUTPUTS / FEEDBACK (from controlled devices)
Typical wiring
Inputs to the G+ Home Hub are activated by the Non G+ Controlling
Device by closing voltage free switches.
The inputs will only respond once per activation i.e. the G+ Home
Hub will only send one command to the Powered G+ Lockset or
G+ Smart Box once for every time the Input is activated. Leaving
the Input activated will not result in the G+ Home Hub continuing
to send the command.

Function Overview
The G+ Home Hub is capable of providing status feedback from the
device it is controlling to its controller.
Feedback is only possible from the following G+ Devices:
• 1x Electric G+ Lockset
OR
• Up to 3 x G+ Smart Boxes – if connected to appropriate feedback.
Refer to G+ Smart Box User Guide for appropriate feedback.
The G+ Home Hub outputs feedback via voltage free switches.
