Requirements:
1. EnableWCDMAaccountwithyournetwork serviceproviderincludingDial-upinternetfacility.
2. Windows(versionXPorlater)
3. PC ornotebook withUSBport.
Installing theUSB modemdriver:
ThisApplication Noteassumesyou arefamiliarwithinstallingUSB ModemsunderWindows 2000 and
Windows XPoperating systems.
Toinstall the USBmodemdriver:
1.Connect the modemtothe PCbyusing the USBcable. Wait for"WelcometotheFound newHardware
Wizard"dialog box.
2.Select “No, notthistime”and click “Next”button inthe following dialog box:(refertoFigureA)

3. Inthe nextdialog box:Select “Installfromalist oraspecificlocation”and click “Next”.(refertoFigureB)

4. Inthe nextdialog box:uncheck the “Searchremovablemedia(floppy,CD-ROM …)”option,
-- check the “Include thislocation inthe search”option,
-- click "Browse"and select the pathofthe CD-ROM “Drivers_SIM5218_20090114 file”

Tocheck thatthe simcom5218 USB Modemiscorrectlyinstalled,go tothe devicemanager.The Modem
must be listed inthe Modemsection.

SIM5210HSDPA Modem”
icon.Seefigure.
2. Followtheinstructionsonthescreentocompletetheinstallation.
