GBIThe TD remote control panel permits to switch the operating speed
of the fan-heater by hand and to regulate the room temperature
automatically, both for heating and cooling purposes, by adjusting the
motor-ventilating unit (ON/OFF).
The TD - TDC kit, shown in figure 1, mainly comprises the following items:
- on/off start key, part A;
- switch for selecting the ventilating speed, part B;
- summer/winter deviator, for inverting the operating mode, part C;
- bimetallic electro-mechanical thermostat: regulating range +5 to 30°C,
part D.
The panel is supplied with a base for fixing it to the wall.
Likewise the TDC remote control panel also permits to regulate the room
temperature automatically except that it is setup for the centralized
inversion for summer – winter operation.
The TDC panel does not envisage the operating deviator.
Check the state of the accessory before starting the installation.
Installation
- Cut power to the unit;
- Choose an area for installing the control panel that is easy to access
for setting the function and suitable for reading the room temperature
(1.5 m above the floor).Therefore avoid:
a) positions that are directly exposed to sun rays;
b) positions that are subject to direct warm or cold air currents;
c) placing obstacles in the way that could prevent correct temperature
measurements;
d) constant presence of water steam;
e) covering the panel or flush wall-mounting.
- Remove the front cover as shown in figure 2.
- Carry out the wiring operations:
The hatched connections are to be made by the installer.
Each fan heater requires a switch (IL) on the feeder line with a distance of at
least 3 mm between the opening contacts, and a suitable safety fuse (F).

The following abbreviations have been used in the wiring diagrams:
- Mount the thermostat to the wall using the slots as shown in figure 3; re-
insert the cover.
Use
The fan-heater is started and stopped by means of the on/off selector. Proceed
as follows to set the automatic adjustment for the room temperature:
- set the index of the speed selector switch to the desired speed;
- select the operating mode by means of the summer/winter deviator
(the operating mode for the TDC control panel is set by means of the
centralized summer/winter deviator, not supplied);
- set the desired temperature on the thermostat.
In order to quickly attain the desired room temperature, set the maximum
operating speed and turn the thermostat to full scale (+5°C in summer and
+ 30°C in winter).

Il pannello di comando a distanza TD permette la commutazione
manuale della velocità di funzionamento dell’ aerotermo e la
regolazione automatica della temperatura ambiente, sia in fase di
riscaldamento che di raffrescamento, agendo sul gruppo motoventilante
(funzionamento ON/OFF).
Il kit TD - TDC, come descritto in figura 1 si compone principalmente di:
- tasto on/off di avviamento, partic. A;
- commutatore per la scelta della velocità di ventilazione, partic. B;
- deviatore estate/inverno, per l’inversione di funzionamento, partic. C;
- termostato elettromeccanico bimetallico: campo di regolazione +5 / +30°C,
partic. D.
Il pannello include una basetta di fissaggio a parete.
Analogamente, il pannello di comando a distanza TDC consente la
regolazione automatica della temperatura ambiente; esso però é predisposto
per l’inversione centralizzata del funzionamento estivo - invernale.
Il pannello TDC non prevede il deviatore di funzionamento.
Prima di iniziare l’installazione controllare lo stato dell’accessorio.
INSTALLAZIONE
- Togliere tensione all’apparecchio;
- Scegliere una zona per l’installazione del pannello di comando facilmente
accessibile per l’impostazione delle funzioni ed efficace per la rilevazione
della temperatura ambiente (1,5 m dal pavimento). Evitare quindi:
a) posizioni esposte direttamente all’irraggiamento solare;
b) posizioni soggette a correnti dirette di aria calda o fredda;
c) di interporre ostacoli che impediscano la rilevazione corretta della
temperatura;
d) presenza costante di vapor d’acqua;
e) di coprire o incassare il pannello al muro.
- Smontare la copertura frontale come da figura 2.
-Eseguire i cablaggi elettrici:
I collegamenti tratteggiati vanno eseguiti dall’installatore.
Per ogni aerotermo prevedere sulla rete di alimentazione un interruttore (IL)
con contatti di apertura con distanza di almeno 3mm e un fusibile (F) di
protezione adeguato.

Negli schemi elettrici sono utilizzate le seguenti abbreviazioni:
-Fissare il termostato alla parete utilizzando le asole come da figura 3 ;
reinserire la copertura.
Uso
L’avviamento e l’arresto dell’aerotermo vengono realizzati con il selettore
on/off di avviamento. Per impostare la regolazione automatica della
temperatura ambiente, agire come segue:
- portare l’indice del commutatore di velocità in corrispondenza della velocità
desiderata;
- selezionare il modo di funzionamento agendo sul deviatore estate/inverno
(per il pannello di comando TDC l’impostazione del modo di funzionamento
si effettua sul deviatore estate/inverno centralizzato, non fornito);
- impostare sul termostato la temperatura che si desidera raggiungere.
Per una messa a regime veloce della temperatura del locale impostare la
velocità massima di funzionamento e portare il termostato a fondo scala
(+5°C in fase estiva e + 30°C in fase invernale).
