1. GUIDA
1.1 IMPORTANTI ISTRUZIONI PER LA SICUREZZA
Grezie per aver scelto il nostro prodotto. Prima di installarlo vorremmo ricordarvi
alcune annotazioni molto importanti per un uso sicuro e corretto del prodotto:
- Vi consigliamo vivamente di leggere il presente manuale prima di iniziare ad
usare il prodotto.
- Se l'unità viene improvvisamente spostata da una zona fredda ad una calda,
può dare problemi. In tal caso spegnate l'unità e riaccendetela dopo 1-2 ore.
- Tenete il modulatore in un luogo pulito e con una ventilazione suciente.
- Non coprite il modulatore con un'unità che emette calore e non ponetecelo
nemmeno sopra.
- Pulite il contenitore con un panno morbido appena imbevuto di liquido detergente.
- Non togliete il coperchio.
- Non esponete l'unità al calore, al freddo intenso o all'umidità.
- Non lasciate penetrare liquidi o altro materiale all'interno dell'unità.
1.2 DESCRIZIONE GENERALE
Il watchanywhere è un modulatore DVB-T a denizione standard con ingresso
video composito che fornisce un segnale COFDM RF nella gamma di 50-860MHz.
Consiste in una conversione di frequenza, codica, modulazione A/D che fornisce
un'ampiezza di banda selezionabile tra 6/7/8MHz.
E' progettato per supportare gli ingressi CVBS e HD PORT e può anche supportare una
codica standard H.264.
E' una scelta eccellente per trasportare i segnali audio/video dai ricevitori satellitari
per TV, telecamere di sorveglianza o lettori video/multimediali ad un televisore LCD
o un convertitore di segnale (set-top- box).
Può essere utilizzato in serie con altri watchanywhere cosicchè il numero di canali
nel cavo caossiale del sistema SMATV possa essere aumentato come si desidera.

3. ISTRUZIONI MENU OSD
Appena acceso il modulatore apparirà l'interfaccia principale. Premete OK nel
menu principale.
• Lingua OSD: premete i tasti sinistra/destra per
cambiare la lingua.
• Paese: premete i tasti sinistra/destra per accedere
nella lista dei paesi e selezionate un paese con i
tasti su/giu, poi premete OK per confermare.
• Nome del canale: premete i tasti sinistra/destra
per cambiare il numero di canale
• Frequenza: impostazione della frequenza nella gamma 50~860MHz.
Premete i tasti sinistra/destra per muovere il cursore e premete i tasti su/giu per
cambiare i numeri.
• Ampiezza di banda: premete i tasti sinistra/destra
per selezionare l'ampiezza di banda di 6/7/8MHz.
• Portata: impostazione portata. Premete i tasti
sinistra/destra per selezionare 2K o 8K.
• Modulazione: impostazione modo modulazione.
Premete i tasti sinistra/destra per selezionare
QPSK, 16QAM o 64QAM.
• FEC: Impostazione indice codice FEC. Premete i tasti sinistra/destra per selezionare
1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 5/6 o 7/8.
• Intervallo di guardia: impostazione intervallo di guardia. Premete i tasti sinistra/destra
per selezionare 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 o 1/32.
• Livello uscita RF: impostazione livello uscita
RF. Premete i tasti sinistra/destra per cambiare
il valore nella gamma 70~100dBuV.
• Sorgente di segnale: premete i tasti sinistra/destra
per scegliare HD PORT o CVBS.
• Tono tasti: premete i tasti sinistra/destra per
attivare/disattivare il tono tasti.
• LCN: utilizzate i tasti su/giu/sinistra/destra per gestire il numero di canale logico.
• Nome programma: utilizzate i tasti su/giu/sinistra/destra per gestire il nome di
programma del punto di frequenza attuale.
• Fornitore servizi: utilizzate i tasti su/giu/sinistra/destra per gestire il nome dell'operatore.
• Impostazione di fabbrica: premete OK per confermare l'impostazione di fabbrica.

Nota:
1. Poiché il modulatore utilizza la codica H.264, gli utenti debbono utilizzare il servizio DVB-T che
supporta la codica standard H.264 per monitor normali.
Il programma HD contenente la protezione HDCP non funzionerà normalmente, come un disco
Blue-ray e così via.
2. Se immagine e suono non sono sincroni, inserite di nuovo la porta HD PORT e tutto tornerà alla normalità.

1. GUIDE
1.1 IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Thank you for choosing our product. Before installation, we would like to re -
mind you some notes, which is very important for operating safely and prop -
erly, as follows:
• Be sure to read this user manual before starting your operation.
• When the unit is suddenly moved to a hot area from a cold area, it may
after 1-2 hours.
•
• Do not cover the modulator with or place it on a unit that emits heat.
• Clean the case by a soft cloth with a little washing liquid.
• Do not remove the cover.
• Do not let the unit exposed to extreme heat, cold or humid conditions.
• No liquids or any other materials to come inside of the unit.
1.2 GENERAL DESCRIPTION
WS-6990 is a composite video input standard denition DVB-T modulator
which provides COFDM RF signal in range of 50-860MHz.
It consists of A/D, Coding, Modulation, Frequency conversion which provides
bandwidth of 6/7/8MHz to select.
It isdesigned toachieve CVBSand HDPORT input,and it can alsosupports standard H.264
encoding.
It is an excellent choice to transport video/audio signals from TV satellite
receivers, surveillance camera or video/media players to a LCD TV or set-top-
box.
It can be used in series with other WS-6990 so the number of channels in the
coaxial cable no the SMATV system can be increased as desired.

3. THE MENU OSD INSTRUCTION
Modulator will initialize to the main interface after power on, and press OK
into the main menu.
• OSD Language: press left or right key to change
the language
• Country: press left or right key to enter country
list, and use up or down key to select a country,
• Channel Name: press left or right key to change
the channel number
• Frequency: frequency setting in range of 50~860MHz, press left or right key to
move cursor and press up or down key to change numbers
• BandWidth: press left or right key to select
bandwidth of 6/7/8MHz
• Carrier: carrier setting, press left or right key to
select 2K or 8K.
• Modulate: modulation mode setting, press left or
right key to select QPSK, 16QAM or 64QAM.
• FEC: FEC code rate setting, press left or right key to select 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 5/6 or 7/8.
• Guard Interval: guard interval setting, press left or right key to select 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 or 1/32.
• RF Output Level: RF output level setting, press left or right key to change value
in range of 70~100dBuV
• Signal Source: press left or right key to choose
HD PORT or CVBS.
• Key Tone: press left or right key to ON/OFF key tone
• LCN: use up, down, left or right key to edit logical
channel number
• Program Name: use up, down, left or right key to edit program name of current frequency
point
• Service Provider: use up, down, left or right key to edit operator name.
• Factory Set: press OK to confirm factory reset.

Note:
1.Since the modulator uses H.264 encoding, users need using DVB-T service which supports
standard H.264 encoding for normal display.
2.HD program which contains HDCP agreement protection will not play normally,
such as Blue-ray Disc and so on.
3.If the image and sound are not synchronous, please insert HD PORT port again, it will
return to normal.
