The plug fits only one way into a polarized outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the

1. Before first use, clean coffee grinder.
2. Re ove cover by turning counter-clockwise to the unlock position, then lift straight
up. (Illus. A)
3. Using easure ents on cover, fill with desired a ount of coffee beans and pour
into grinding cha ber or scoop beans directly into grinding cha ber.
4. Lock cover onto grinder. Align tab on lid with unlock sy bol on the back of grinder.
Then turn lid clockwise to the lock position. (Illus. B)
5. Hold the plug and pull slowly to release the stored cord. Plug into outlet.

1. Unplug fro outlet before cleaning.
2. Use the soft cleaning brush to clean around blades. Carefully wipe grinding cha ber
with a soft, da p cloth. Use care around sharp blades.
3. Rinse and dry cover. Wipe grinder with da p cloth.
4. Hold grinder and turn base in the direction of the arrow to rewind cord.
5. The storage container and brush should be washed in hot, soapy water. Rinse and
let dry.
Do not immerse coffee grinder in water or other liquid.

6. Move the grind setting switch to the a ount to be ground and desired fineness of
grind. (Illus. C)
7. Press and hold ON/OFF button. Release button once grinder begins. The grinder will
stop auto atically when grinding is co plete. To stop grind cycle at anyti e, push
ON/OFF button. When ON/OFF button is pressed again, grinder will start fro the
beginning of the ti ed cycle.
8. When finished unplug grinder, clean grinding cha ber, and rewind cord. Store
cleaning brush in lid of storage container.
NOTE: The grinder will only operate with cover in the locked position.

• For best flavor, store coffee beans in an airtight container.
• Grind beans i ediately before brewing.
• When grinding ore than 12 scoops of coffee beans, pour beans into cover, then turn
grinder upside down and lock onto the cover. Be sure to align tab on lid with the unlock
sy bol.
• Grinding ti es will vary by a ount and fineness setting:
COAR E 9 to 13 seconds (Perc, French Press)
MED 14 to 17 seconds (Auto Drip)
FINE 25 to 28 seconds (Espresso)
• To ensure opti al grinding perfor ance allow your coffee grinder to cool for at least
one inute between uses.
• Coffee flavor and strength is a personal preference. Vary the type of coffee beans,
a ount of coffee and fineness of grind to find the flavor you prefer.
• To grind a ounts not on controls, select the next closest a ount listed.
