touchthecoldsurfacesin thefreezercompartment,
particularlywhen hands aredampor wet. Skin
mayadheretotheseextremelycoldsurfaces.
●Do notplacefingersor handson the automatic
ice-makingmechanismwhiiethe refrigeratoris
pluggedin. Thiswillpreventcontactwiththe
movingpartsoftheejectormechanism,orwiththe
heatingelementthatreleasesthecubes.
●Do notallowanyoneto c~mb, sit, standor hangon
the RefreshmentCenterCompartmentdoor.They
coulddamagetherefrigeratorandmaybeeventipit
over,causingseverepersonalinjury.
●Don’t refreezefrozenfoods whichhave thawed
completely.Foodsafetyexpertssay:
“...Youmaysafelyrefreezefrozenfoodsthathave
thawediftheystillcontainicecrystalsoriftheyare
stillcold—below40°F(4°C.).
“...Thawedgroundmeats,poultryorfishthathave
anyoff-odororoff-colorshouldnotberefrozenand
