A. SIM Card Slot
- Slide the SIM Card toward the top of
the RP1600 like direction of an arrow A.
B. SAM Card Slot (optional)
- Slide the SAM Card toward the bottom
of the RP1600 like the direction of an
arrow B.
- RP1600 has 2 SAM Card Slots.
C. Micro SD Card Slot
- Lift the rubber door and then slide the
Micro SD Card toward the top of the
RP1600 like the direction of an arrow C.
To insert the battery
Insert the battery top first into the battery compartment.
Press the battery down into the battery compartment.
Lock the Battery Locker.
To remove the battery
Open the Battery Locker
Lift off the down side of battery

** If the LED is off when the device or the
spare battery was mounted. Make sure that
RP1600 is inserted correctly in the cradle or
RP1600 is connected to a power source.

● How to use functions
-Scanner
1D Scanner : The laser beam should cut across the barcode from left to right
to get a successful read.
2D Imager : The laser aimer should be on the center of the barcode to get a
successful read.
-NFC

Since NFC antenna is integrated in the rear
side of the battery, read the contactless card
as shown.
NFC reading distance depends on the
Card type. (MAX 5cm)

-IC Card
The contact (A) of the IC Card should
toward the device and then slide the
IC Card into the IC Card slot.

● Reset
-Soft Reset
Case 1 : Press and hold the power button to perform a Soft Reset.
Case 2 : Press the reset button to perform a Soft Reset.
-Power Off
Press the Power Button until the menu appears.
Touch Power off
-Hard Reset
Press and hold the power button for approximately 7 seconds to perform
a Hard Reset (Perform a Hard Reset if a Soft Reset is not working)
-Factory Reset
Follow the below steps to perform a Factory Reset.
Path : Settings > Backup & reset > Factory data reset > Reset phone
> Erase everything
