Controller Operation
 Press the up or down arrow button to change SP1 (if SP1
doesn’t change, refer to the next section ‘Unlocking the Con-
troller’)
 Press the up and down arrows at the same time when finished
to display the current temperature.
Adjusting the Operating Temperature
 If an operating temperature other than 36.0oC is desired, take
the following steps to adjust the set point.
 Press the yellow button on the left of the controller until the
controller displays ‘SP1.’
 Now press either the up or down arrow ONCE, this will display
the set point.
 During normal operation of the water jacketed vat, a heater is
used to maintain the operating temperature of the unit.
 When the indicator O1 is illuminated, the heating unit is run-
ning.

Unlocking the Controller
 If the operating temperature cannot be adjusted as described
in the previous section, it may be necessary to unlock the con-
troller before proceeding.
 Press the yellow button on the left of the controller repeatedly
until the controller displays ‘LocK.’
 Press the up or down arrow buttons until ‘uSEr’ is displayed.
 Press both arrow buttons at the same time to display current
temperature.
Auto-tuning the Controller
 Autotuning should be done upon setup when the water-
jacket is full and has reached operating temperature.
 With the controller unlocked, press the left button repeat-
edly until “A-T” is displayed.
 Press and hold the left button until A-T starts flashing.
Leave the controller alone until it stops.
