Structure:
Replacing Rotors:
The centrifuge provides two interchangeable rotors. These are easily replaced using the Allen key
provided.
◇ Remove rotor:
Remove the screw under the rotor with the Allen key. Pull up the rotor from the motor shaft and remove it.
◇ Reassemble rotor:
Put the other new rotor to the motor shaft. Take care not to press the rotor down so far as to compress
the rubber collar at the base of the shaft. Fix the screw with the Allen key until it is tight.
◇ Never over-tighten the screw to prevent damaging the rotor or motor shaft.
Operation Instruction:
Maintenance:
A、Turn on the unit:
For Single Speed Models: Put “Power” rocker switch to position (I).
For Multi Speed Models: Select desired speed by dip switch at right. Then put “Power” rocker switch to
position (I).
◇ Before you start the machine, you must close the cover.
◇ Safe operation of the centrifuge requires that the rotor be loaded in a balanced fashion.
◇ The independent tubes, strip tubes and adapters must always be loaded symmetrically to ensure
proper balance.
◇ Never start the centrifuge with one strip tube in place only.
B、Turn off the unit:
Put “Power” rocker switch to position (O).
After the rotor stops, open the cover with the hand lever on the front, and then take out the tubes.
◇ Before using any cleaning or decontamination methods except those recommended by the
manufacturer, check with the manufacturer that the proposed method will not damage the equipment.
◇ Clean the centrifuge with damp cloth and non-corrosive detergent (ph<8).
◇ Do not immerse the centrifuge in liquid or pour liquids over it.
◇ After cleaning, ensure all parts are dried thoroughly before attempting to operate the unit.
