Power over Ethernet mid span injectors offer an easy, fast and cost effective solution
for powering PoE devices such as IP Network Cameras. Power and data are combined
on a single cable eliminating the need for separate cables for data and power, reducing
installation costs and time.

1. Use a Cat5/6 Cable to connect the DATA IN socket to an Ethernet device such as a
Switch or a Router.
2. Connect the IEC cables Female couple to the Inlet socket of the PoE injector then
connect the IEC cable to a Power source.
3. Use a Cat5/6 Cable to connect the Power Out Socket to a PoE Device such as a
PoE compliant IPNC.
1. The PoE Mid span Injector is designed for internal use only, please ensure it is
installed in a dry well ventilated space.
2. Avoid Installing the PoE injector on unsteady surfaces.
3. Connect the IEC cables Female couple to the Inlet socket of the PoE injector prior to
connecting the IEC cable to a Power source.
4. Ensure that there is >10 cm of space around the injector to allow for adequate
dissipation of heat from the device.
5. Heavy items should not be placed on the Injector
6. Please use the IEC cable supplied with the PoE injector.
