HDMI Video Distribution Amplifier
Product Code: HDMID04
The HDMID04 is an amplifier for distributing HDMI signals. It has two input selections to suit a variety of
applications. The HDMID04 re-clocks and equalises the signal, and distributes it to four identical outputs.

Installation
1. Connect HDMI source to HDMI splitter Input A or B. Output 1~4 to monitor
2. Output 1 is the EDID Master Port. First connect HDMI TV monitor, then unplug and re-connect the
HDMID04 (this auto copies the TV monitor’s EDID as a HDMI reference source - display resolution and
audio format. The EDID copy takes around 10 seconds to complete.
3. Input A/B using the front buttons to select the source
4. Input LED flashes: No signal detected.
5. Press the A & B buttons together to activate/disable the auto jump function.
6. Auto Jump function ON: A & B - Blue LED flash.
7. Auto Jump function OFF: A & B - Blue LED’s ON.

Remarks
1. Some DVD equipment may still have a +5V signal output; even under power off status. This will cause
an abnormal auto detection function. To avoid this happening disable auto jump and set the distributor up
by pressing the relevant A/B button.
2. HDMID04 has no memory function and reverts back to factory default once power is switched off (the
default is input A and auto jump function OFF).
