The Genie GCA01HD is a video amplifier designed to use an RG59 coaxial cable to send a
video signal long distance with a transmission distance up to 800m.
1.1 Product Features
• Boosts AHD, TVI and CVI signal for a longer distance over coax cable
• Supports AHD / TVI / CVI up to 1080p and 4K camera
• Supports TVI 1080p/720p 600m
• Supports CVI 1080p/720p 800m
• Supports AHD 1080p/720p 800m
• Built-in middle frequency, high frequency and brightness adjustment
• Package includes a jumper and power adapter
• Allow to use one power adapter for multiple amplifiers , a jumper is needed to extend
power (Max of 3 units per power adapter)

2.3 Cable and Transmission Distance
A high quality 75 coaxial RG59/RG6U link cable is recommend to use. The transmission
distance will be affected by different quality of camera, DVR and BNC connector, cable,
installation…etc.
2.4 Using Multiple GCA01HD
When using multiple GCA01HD, it is recommend to use an attached jumper cable to extend
power by one power adapter (Recommend using a DC12V 1.5Amp power adapter to
support 8 pieces GCA01HD).

Install at DVR side:
Install 1x GCA01HD near camera side, the other one near DVR side:
When using a multi-amplifier, a jumper is needed to extend power. (Maximum of 3 units by
DC12V/500mA power adapter package included).

4.0 Troubleshooting
1. Recommend the shortest connection distance over 150m to avoid too strong signal
amplification.
2. If the middle and high frequency / sharpness gain adjustment are too strong or too
weak, that will cause video distortion, colour change or disappear. Please properly
adjust based on different distances.
3. The unit built-in transient protection, please make sure to make the proper grounding.
4. When using chainable power, the maximum could connect up to 10 units. Make sure
the power adapter used is bigger than the total power consumption.
