ventilation.
• Themufflerbecomesvery hot duringoperationandremainshotfor awhileafterstoppingthe engine.Becarefulnot totouch
the mufflerwhile it is hot. Lettheenginecoolbeforestoringthegeneratorindoors.
• Theengineexhaustsystemwill beheatedduring operationandremainshot immediatelyafterstoppingtheengine.Toprevent
scalding,payattentionto thewaming marks.
• Gasolineisextremelyflammableandexplosiveundercertainconditions.Refuelin awell-ventilatedareawith the enginestopped.
• Keepawayfrom cigarettesmokeandsparkswhenre-fuelingthegenerator,Alwaysrefuelinawellventilatedlocation.
• Wipe upspilledgasolineatonce.
• Connectionsfor standbypowerto a building'selectricalsystemmust bemadebyaqualifiedelectricianandmust complywith all
applicablelawsandelectricalcodes.Improperconnectionscanallowelectricalcurrentfrom thegeneratorto backfeedintothe
utilitylines.
