1.0 Use of the Airbox Lite
Airbox Lite is recommended for pressure and ventilation
guard with control device and alarm by Danish Working
Environment Authority rules, up to 2000 Pa. for the pro-
cess ventilation system.
Airbox Lite has built-in pressure switch which can be de-
livered in tree pressure ranges:
- 20 - 300 Pa
- 100 - 1000 Pa
- 500 - 2000 Pa
The alarm function complies with Danish Working En-
vironment Authority requirements for pressure moni-
toring.
Airbox Lite does not provide for:
• Battery Backup
• Siren
• External lamp
• Operation signal to the fan
• Upper pressure limit
• Pressure Control
If these functions are necessary Airbox III or MultiBox III
will be used.
2.0 Installing AirBox Lite
1. Airbox Lite must be installed visible for the operators
of the ventilation system operation.
2. 230V supply is mounted in terminals L and N as illu-
strated in the diagram.
Note: The supply must NOT be from the same group,
as the monitored ventilation system.
3. The pressure tube is connected from the Airbox Lite
(top outlet - close to the lid) and the ventilation duct.
4. The desired alarm set point is set on the pressure
switch (notch at the center see picture). The recom-
mended setpoint is approximately. 20% below the
operating pressure.
3.0 Function
The pressure switch has a green operation lamp. It will
light up during normal operation of the ventilation sy-
stem.
A red warning lamp will be activated, if the pressure falls
below the set point alarm.
Note: Normally it is not necessary to connect external
siren / lamp, because the built-in alarm lamp is enough.
Should more than one room be monitored, then connect
external siren / light - select Airbox III, where the conne-
ction of additional alarm is possible.
