1.Do not plug with wet hands to avoid electric shock.
2.Do not plug into a socket where several other
appliances are plugged in.
3.Do not use if the plug cord is damaged or the
power plug does not t the socket safely.
4.Do not modify any parts, or repair the appliance
by yourself.
5.Do not use the appliance near ame or wet places.
6.Do not use where children can easily touch the
appliance, or allow children to use the appliance by
themselves.
7. Do not place on unstable surfaces.
8.Do not move the appliance when the pot or the pan is on it.
9.Do not heat the pot empty or overheat the pot.
10.Do not place metallic objects such as knives,
forks, spoons, lids, cans, and aluminum foils on
the top plate since they can get hot.
11.Use the appliance with sufcient space around it.
Keep the front side and either right or left side of
the appliance clear.
12.Do not place the appliance on carpet or tablecloth
(vinyl) or any other low-heat-resistant articles.

14.如果發現灶面有破裂，馬上關掉電磁爐以避免可
能發生的觸電危險，然後將電磁爐送到維修中心。
15.請勿堵塞進氣口和排氣口。
16.請勿在端走鍋或盤後馬上觸摸加熱面，因為頂
部加熱面仍有餘熱，此時仍然會很燙。
17.請勿將容易受到磁場干擾的電器或物品擺放在
電磁爐附近，如收音機，電視機，銀行卡和錄
音帶等。
18.如電源線損壞，須由專業人員更換。
19.該器具不打算由身體存在物理或感知或精神障
礙等缺陷或缺乏經驗和知識人士使用，除非這

13.Do not place a sheet of paper between the
pot or the pan and the top plate. The paper
may get burnt.
14.If the surface is cracked, switch off to avoid
the possibility of electric shock and then take
to the service center immediately.
15.Do not block air intake or exhaust vent.
16.Do not touch the top plate right after removing
the pot or the pan, as the top plate will still be
very hot.
17. Do not place the appliance near to the objects which
are affected by magnet, such as:radios,televisions,
automatic-banking cards and cassette tapes.
18.The power cord must be replaced by qualied
technicians or persons trained.
19.This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
20.The temperature of accessible surfaces may
be high when the appliance is operating.
21.Aluminium foil and plastic vessels cannot be
placed on hot surfaces.
22.The glass-ceramic surfaces are not to be used
for storage.
23.Take care when operating the appliance, as rings,
watches and similar objects worn by the user
could get hot when in close proximity to the
hob surface.
24.Only use cookware of the type and size
recommended in this User Manual.
25.After use, switch the hob element off by means
of its control. Do not rely on the pan detector.
26.Do not spray the appliance with jets of water or
liquids.
27. Any repairs shall be carried out only by qualied
technicians, persons trained or recommended
by the manufacturer.

28.Care to be taken to ensure that the splashback
and surrounding area are free of metallic
surfaces.
29.Appliance is not intended to be operated by
means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
30.Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
31.When the pot is removed, the induction hotplate
can stop heating immediately. If the hotplate
remains switched on after cooking has nished,
the cooker switches off automatically in 2 hours.
Under FlexInduction mode, the buzzer sounds,
and the hotplate switches off in 16 seconds
(30 seconds for other operating modes).
32.This cooker is intended for domestic cooking
only. This product is not suitable for operation
by unsupervised children or the elderly.

安裝說明 Installation Instructions

桌面上的凹槽可以根據GIC-DF28B型號電磁爐而
定。請確保爐灶與牆面的淨空間為55mm。
桌面厚度最少為30mm，桌面必須為耐熱性能
強的材質，以防因高溫導致桌面變形。
可使用海綿條固定在桌面上，以使爐身水平放好。
Use the balance bar to x the cooktop on the table so as
to keep it horiontal..
The tabletop groove for the cooker can be
made according to size of the model GIC-
DF28B.Please ensure a clear space of 55mm
around the cooker. The tabletop must be at
least 30mm thick and made of heat resistant
material to avoid deformation due to high heat
from the cooker.

操作說明 Operating Instructions
1.Place suitable cooking utensils in the center of the
hotplate and plug in.
2.Press On/Off button and the LED indicator lights
up in “---”. If the Menu button is not pressed with
in a minute, the cooker returns to standby mode.
3.Press the Zone button and the LED indicator displays
“[9]”. The induction cooker enters FlexInduction
mode. The cooker heats at default power level 9.
Press the“ ” or“ ”button to select desired
heating power between level 9 to 1.
4.Press the Zone button to enter dual hob mode.
The LED displays “99”. When the relevant 9 ashes,
press“ ”or“ ”to select desired heating
power between level 9 to 1.
5.Press Max button once, the L LED at the top of
the button lights up. L Zone, the left hotplate,
outputs with maximum power.“ ”or“ ”
buttons cannot be operated, R Zone stops heating.
6.Press Max button twice, the R LED at the top of
the button lights up. R Zone, the right hotplate,
outputs with maximum power. “ ”or “ ”buttons
cannot be operated, L Zone stops heating.
7. Press Max button thrice, the indicator extinguishes.
The cooker enters FlexInduction mode. The cooker
heats in the default power at level 9. Press the“ ”
or“ ” button to select the desired power
between level 9 to 1.
8.Press the Zone button to enter dual hob mode.
The LED displays “99”. When the relevant 9 ashes,
press“ ”or“ ”to select desired heating power
between level 9 to 1.

Hot surface.
- The temperature of accessible surfaces may
be high when the appliance is operating.
- This appliance is liable to get hot during use.
1.將適合的炊具放在加熱中心位置，然後將插頭插
入插座。
2.按開/關鍵， LED指示閃爍“---”，1分鐘不選
擇功能，電磁爐自動恢復到待機狀態。
3.按區域鍵，LED顯示“[9]”，進入全區域模式，
電磁爐將預設在第9檔進行加熱。按“ ”或
“ ”鍵調整火力9到1檔，以獲得適合的加熱火
力。
4.按區域鍵進入雙爐模式，LED上顯示“99”。相關
的9閃爍時可以按“ ”或“ ”鍵選擇9至1檔，
以獲得適合的加熱火力。
5.按1次最高火力鍵，此時鍵上方L的LED亮起，此
時L區域(左電磁爐)進行最大功率輸出，此狀態
下“ ”及“ ”鍵不可操作，右邊區域停止加熱。
6.按2次最高火力鍵，此時鍵上方R的LED亮起，
此時R區域(右電磁爐)進行最大功率輸出，此
狀態下“ ”及“ ”鍵不可操作，左邊區域停
止加熱。
7.按3次最高火力鍵指示燈滅，電磁爐全區域控制
模式，電磁爐將預設在第9檔進行加熱。按火力
調整“ ”或“ ”鍵從9到1檔進行調整以獲得
適合的加熱火力。
8.按區域鍵進入雙爐模式，LED上顯示“99”。相關的
9閃爍時可以按“ ”或“ ”鍵選擇從9至1檔，
以獲得適合的加熱火力。

操作說明 Operating Instructions
9.Press the Timer button and the Timer indicator
ashes. Timer can be set between 0-180 mins, at a
step of 5 min per press. When the Timer button
is pressed, the LED displays 0, the induction
cooker enters Timer mode. Press“ ”or“ ”to
adjusts the timer between 0 to 180 minutes. After
ve seconds, the display will automatically shift to
display the corresponding function. If countdown
function is needed, press Timer button again, the
display displays the countdown time.
10.The induction cooker’s timer has a memory
function. Operating under the timer function, if
the operating mode has been changed to another,
and then another, the nal operating mode will
be timed according to the original time setting.
11.To cancel the Timer function, press On/Off button,
and then press ON/OFF to start again.
12.To avoid incorrect operation, activate the lock function
by pressing down on the “ ”or“ ”buttons
simultaneously. The induction cooker will be
locked. Lock LED indicator L lights up, all controls
including“ ”or“ ”will be deactivated. To
unlock, press down on the“ ”and“ ”
buttons simultaneously for 1 second; or press
On/Off buton to restart the induction cooker
without the lock function.
13.The appliance is equipped with an overheat
protection. If the pot or pan is getting too hot,
the appliance will switch off, the buzzer sounds
and on the display displays E2. Should this
happen, wait for a few minutes and let the
appliance cool down. After that, the appliance
returns to normal operation.
9.按定時鍵，定時Timer指示燈閃爍，可調節定時
時間0-180分鐘，5分鐘一檔。當按下定時鍵，LED
相繼顯示0，電磁爐進入設置定時狀態。定時功
能可以通過按鍵“ ”或“ ”從0到180分鐘
之間進行時間調整，5秒之後，顯示屏會自動切
換到相應的功能。如需要倒計時功能，再按下定
時鍵，此時顯示屏將顯示倒計時間。
10.電磁爐的定時模式具有記憶功能。即使在已設
定定時的工作過程中轉為到另一個加熱模式，
然後再轉為另一個工作模式，此前初始定時模
式將被記憶，電磁爐將並按照此定時加熱。
11.如果你需要取消定時功能，只需按開/關鍵先關
閉，然後再按開/關鍵重新開機即可。
12.為避免由於誤操作而改變電磁爐加熱狀態，可
按鎖定鍵，雙指同時按“ ”或“ ”鍵，電
磁爐即進入鎖定狀態。鎖緊LED指示L，此時其
它功能“ ”或“ ”調節按鍵無效（開關鍵除
外）。解鎖：在電磁爐鎖定狀態下雙指同時按
“ ”及“ ”鍵1秒，或按開關鍵關機後重啟，
電磁爐自動解除鎖定狀態。
13.該電磁爐有過熱保護功能。如果鍋或者盤的溫
度過高，電磁爐會自動關機，蜂鳴器會響起，
顯示板會閃爍E2代碼。當上面過熱這種情況發生
時，等待數分鐘以使得電磁爐冷卻下來後再重
新開機，電磁爐將恢復正常工作。

Please use only German Pool authorized cookware
or cookware recommended by us. Any unauthorized
cookware may affect induction cooker’s heating
capacity and quality.
Appropriate Cookware
- Material:
Steel or cast iron, enameled iron, stainless steel,
at-bottom pots and pans.
- Shape:
FlexInduction Mode:
Round-bottom pots & pans with diameter between
14 & 26cm.
Other modes:
Round-bottom pots & pans with diameter between
12 & 26cm.
Inappropriate Cookware
- Material:
Heat-resistant glass, ceramic container, copper,
aluminum pans/pots.
- Shape:
FlexInduction Mode:
Rounded-bottom pans/pots with bottom measuring
less than 14cm.
Other modes:

less than 12cm.

The output of the induction cooker may vary
according to the chosen utensil size and material.
The induction cooker can detect cookware
automatically. Please test your cookware: place
the chosen cookware in the heating area. If the
LED display relevant to the cooking area remains
unchanged or when the buzzer remains silent,
this means that the cookware is suitable for this
induction cooker. Under single mode or dual hob
mode, if E0 occurs, and the buzzer sounds, this
means that the cookware is inappropriate for
this induction cooker. The cooker automatically
switches off after 30 seconds.
There may be sounds when using cookware with
a multi-ply bottom. This is due to the rattling of
different materials in different cooking zones.
Choosing appropriate cookware may reduce this
problem.
Sharp piercing sound: When using cookware made
of two different materials in adjacent areas on the
hotplate during FlexInduction or dual hob mode,
a sharp piercing sound may be heard, which is
caused by different vibration frequencies in the
heating zone. Choosing appropriate cookware may
reduce this problem.
鍋具 Cookware
電磁爐輸出的功率可能因鍋具的尺寸和材質的而
有所不同。
本電磁爐能夠識別多種加熱器具，可以按照下列
方法之一進行測試: 將器具放置於加熱區。如果對
應的加熱區LED顯示不改變或不產生蜂鳴聲，說明
器具適合加熱；單爐或者雙爐模式下，出現E0，
如果產生蜂鳴聲，則表示該物體不適合電磁爐，
並在30秒後關機。
使用複合底鍋具，有可能產生劈啪聲。這是由於
鍋具是由不同材料組成，不同材料在加熱區發生
震盪，便產生噪音，選擇合適鍋具，可減少或消
失噪音。
尖聲：全區域或雙組爐頭控制區內相鄰兩個爐區
使用不同材質的鍋具，在加熱區內產生不同的震
盪頻率而造成。如使用相同材質的合適的鍋具，
對此噪音消滅或減弱。

保養與清潔 Care & Maintenance
1.清潔前請先關機並把電源插頭從插座拔出，
待電磁爐完全冷卻下來後進行。
2.如果使用不潔鍋具，有可能會導致烹飪區域
變色。
3.請勿使用汽油，天拿水，硬毛刷或拋光粉來
清潔電磁爐。
4.請用濕布加入洗潔劑來擦拭清潔電磁爐。
5.使用吸塵器將積聚在吸氣口和排風口的積塵
吸除。
6.請勿讓水從電磁爐上飛濺過（如果內部入水
會導致發生故障）。
1.Before cleaning, disconnect plug and wait
until the appliance is cooled down completely.
2.If dirty pots/pans are used, discoloration on
the cooking zones may result.
3.Do not use benzene, thinner, scrubbing brush
or polishing powder to clean the induction
cooker.
4.Wipe using a damp cloth with dish washing
detergent.
5.Use a vacuum cleaner to clear the dust from
the air intake and exhaust vent.
6.Never run water over the unit (the induction
cooker may malfunction if water enters its
interior).

保用條款
此保用提供德國寶產品之機件在正常使用下壹年
保用(自購買日起計算)。
* 貴戶須在購機十天內，以下列其中一種方
式向本公司登記資料，保用手續方正式生效﹕
1) 填妥本公司網頁內之保用登記表格
www.germanpool.com/warranty。
2) 填妥保用登記卡，並連同購機發票傳真至
客戶服務部。
Warranty Terms & Conditions
Under normal operations, the product will receive a 1-year full
warranty (effective starting from the date of purchase).
* This warranty is not valid until Customer’s registration
information is returned to and received by our Service
Centre within 10 days of purchase via one of the
following methods:
1) Visit our website and register online:
www.germanpool.com/warranty.
2) Complete all fields on the attached Warranty Card and
fax it back to our Customer Service Centre along with
the purchase invoice.
1. Customer who fails to present original purchase invoice
will be disqualified for free warranty.
2. Customer should always follow the operating
instructions. This warranty does not apply to:
- labour costs for on-site installation, check-up, repair,
replacement of parts and other transportation costs;
- damages caused by accidents of any kind (including
transport and others);
- Glass ceramic surface, plastic parts and accessories;
- operating failures resulted from incorrect voltage,
improper operations and unauthorized installations
or repairs.
3. This warranty is invalid if:
- purchase invoice is modified by unauthorized party;
- product is used for any commercial or industrial applications;
- product is repaired or modified by unauthorized
personnel, or unauthorized parts are installed;
- serial number is modified, damaged or removed from
the product.
4. German Pool will, in its discretion, repair or replace any
defective part.
5. This warranty will be void if there is any transfer of
ownership from the original purchaser.
1.未能出示購買發票正本者，將不獲免費維修服務。
2.用戶應依照說明書的指示操作。本保用並不包括﹕
- 上門安裝、檢驗、維修或更換零件之人工以及一
切運輸費用﹔
- 因天然與人為意外造成的損壞(包括運輸及其他)﹔
- 玻璃面板、任何塑膠附件及輔助裝置﹔
- 電源接合不當、不依說明書而錯誤或疏忽使用本
機所引致之損壞。
3.於下列情況下，用戶之保用資格將被取消﹕
- 購買發票有任何非認可之刪改；
- 產品被用作商業或工業用途；
- 產品經非認可之技術人員改裝或加裝任何配件；
- 機身編號被擅自塗改、破壞或刪除。
4.總代理有權選擇維修或更換配件或其損壞部份。
5.產品一經被轉讓，其保用即被視作無效。
