For 2 line display model:
ADisconnect communication cables connected to the printer.

FSelect the method of erasing the data.
Select the method of erasing the data from [NSA], [DoD], or [Random].

GSelect [Random]using the {U} or {T} key, and then press the {qEnter}key.
HEnter the number of times that you want to overwrite using the {U} or {T}
key, and then press the {qEnter}key.
After the settings are made, about two seconds later, the screen return to the
Erase All Memory setup menu.
ISelect [NSA]using the {U} or {T} key, and then press the{qEnter}key.
After the settings are made, about two seconds later, the screen return to the
Erase All Memory setup menu.
JSelect [DoD]using the {U} or {T} key, and then press the {qEnter}key.
After the settings are made, about two seconds later, the screen return to the
Erase All Memory setup menu.
KStart overwriting all memory. Select [Start Erase]using the {U} or {T} key,
and then press the {qEnter}key.
LWhen overwriting is completed, press the {qEnter}key, and then turn off
the power.
Note
❒Before erasing the hard disk, you can back up user codes, and counters for
each user code data using SmartDeviceMonitor for Admin. For details, see
SmartDeviceMonitor for Admin Help.
❒If the power is turned off when Erase All Memory is in progress, overwriting
will start again when you next turn on the power.
❒If an error occurs before overwriting is completed, turn off the main power.
Turn it on again, and then repeat from the start of the procedure.
