FLAME RETARDANCY
GFA’s leathers/bonded leathers/PUs/fabrics meet the requirements of BS5852 Part 1 Source 0
(Cigarette) Ignition Source 1 (Match) as laid out in the UK Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety)
Regulations 1988 with amendments in 1989, 1993 and 2010.

IMPORTANT: Please read this manual carefully before beginning
assembly of this product. Keep this manual for future reference.
Identify all the parts and hardware.
Do not discard any of the packaging until you have checked that you have all of the parts and
hardware required. Hardware package may have spare parts.
WARNING: This item contains small parts which can be swallowed by children and pets. Keep
children and pets away during assembly. To avoid danger of suffocation, always keep plastic bags
away from children and pets.
We recommend that you assemble this unit on a carpeted floor to avoid scratches. We do not
recommend the use of power tools for assembly as this could damage the unit. Only use manual
tools.
Requires 2 people for ease of assembly.
SAFETY INFORMATION
CARE and MAINTENANCE
Wipe regularly with clean water and a damp, clean, soft white cloth
General cleaning can be done as needed with a mild detergent and water solution. Always rinse
with clean water and dry.
For heavy soiling, dampen a soft white cloth or soft bristle brush. Use care as scrubbing can damage
the surface.
More difficult stains can be treated, but this should be occasional, not daily, cleaning.
ANY cleaning solution used must be removed with clean water and a clean white cloth. Cleaning
residue left on the material can cause it to dry out and crack, or affect the colour.
DO NOT use any cleaners with corrosive ingredients (lye, acids or ammonia).

ASSEMBLY
STEP 1
Attach the extension tube (D) to the armrests (C) with four allen key screws (K), and
finger tighten with M6 allen key (T) .

ASSEMBLY
STEP 2
Insert the adjustable handle (J) into the hole on the extension tube (D) and tighten with
clockwise rotation.
Position seat cushion (B) as shown and align the the holes on the seat cushion with the
extension tube,connecting the seat cushion and extension tube by using allen key screw with
locking nut (L) , finger tighten with large allen wrench (V) and M8 allen key (U) .

ASSEMBLY
STEP 3
Align the holes on the chair spindle (H) and the holes on the chair legs (F) as shown,
tighen the legs to the spindle one by one with allen key screws (M) and washers (N) by
using M6 allen key .
Then align the hole at the centre of the extension tube to the chair spindle, press the seat
cushion down so that it rests firmly .

Insert the ferrules (O-c) into the holes of armrests as above diagram shows .

Position the back cushion (A) as shown, attach the back cushion to the wood armrests
with two allen key screws (O-b) and two screw caps (O-a) like the diagram shows above,
finger tighten with M8 allen key (U).

STEP 6
Come to the back of the chair, align the hole on the metal hinge pieces of back cushion and seat
cushion, put the connection clips (P) through the holes, then fix it with the locking clips (P) as the
detailed picture showsabove .

STEP 7
Fix the wood armrests to the armrest pads with four allen key screws (Q-a) and four small
washers (Q-b), finger tighten by using M6 allen key (T).

ASSEMBLY
STEP 8
Assemble the footstool spindle (I) and footstool legs (G) together, put the footstool bracket (R)
behind the groove of the footstool spindle (I), align the holes and then tighten with allen
screws (M) and washers (N) by using M6 allen key (T).

STEP 9
Attach the footstool spindle to the footstool pad (E) with allen key screws (S), then tighten the
screws with M6 allen key (T).

STEP 10
Flip the footstool over and place in front of the chair.
Adjustable handle function -Twist clockwise to tighten the tilt tension OR twist anti-clockwise to
loosentilt tension .
