Always inspect your ghd ight+™ before use, and do not
use it if it is damaged. If the power cord or plug is damaged it
must be replaced by Jemella Ltd, its service agent or similarly
qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard. Jemella Ltd will
replace the product free of charge only if it is within warranty.
To reduce the risk of electrocution:
1. Do not use if the cord is damaged.
2. Do not pull or strain the power cord and do not unplug by pulling on the cord, rather disconnect the ghd
ight+ by isolating the mains switch and then by removing the plug.
3. Do not use an electrical extension lead in conjunction with the ghd ight+.
4. Do not use at temperatures below 5°C and above 35°C.
5. Hold the ghd ight+ by the handle; do not hold by the casing or concentrator nozzle, which can be hot.
6. Take care to avoid the hot surface of the ghd ight+ coming into direct contact with the skin,
in particular the eyes, ears, face and neck.
7. Never place the ghd ight+ on any heat sensitive surface or cover it whilst in or
immediately after use.

supplies other than that specied on the rating plate.

1. Do not use this product with a voltage inverter.

of your ghd ight+.
3. Your ghd product is a class II electrical appliance and should not be connected

The ghd ight+ is equipped with a heat-sensitive safety cut out device. In the event of
overheating (for example if the rear grill is blocked), the dryer will stop automatically. Isolate the
dryer from the mains supply and allow to cool before using again.

Your ghd ight+ should only be repaired using specialist tools and by qualied experts at ghd.

Your ghd ight+ is tted with a dual voltage selector (Fig.1). To use this feature simply
insert a coin to switch the ghd ight+ to accept the required incoming voltage i.e. 120V
or 240V.

1. After washing your hair, towel-dry it thoroughly.
2. Do not allow excess water from your hair or any other source to contact the ghd ight+.
3. For fast drying, use the ghd ight+ without the styling nozzle.
4. Note: The t of a cold nozzle could be tight, particularly when the dryer and nozzles are new.
5. Never cover the blower or intake opening.
6. Use the selector switch, to set the fan speed and the drying temperature:

1. Always allow the ghd ight+ to cool down before storing away.
2. When the ghd ight+ has cooled down, fold the power cord in the same way as it was rst
delivered in its packaging. Do not wrap the supply cord around the ghd ight+ as this can
strain the cord and cause premature supply cord failure.
cleaning your ghd ight+™
1. To ensure that your ghd ight+ operates at the optimum eciency, always ensure that the rear
lter is kept clean by regularly cleaning it.
2. To do this rst unplug the ghd ight+ from the mains power supply. Take a soft brush and
gently remove any dust and hair from the lter.
3. Do not clean with abrasive or corrosive products.

In the unlikely event that your ghd product does not operate correctly, check that the ghd product
and mains power supply are switched on, and that power is available.
For UK plugs, please ensure that the tted fuse is intact and functioning; if it is not, replace it with
an identically rated British Standard Fuse.

designed for use in the home only and should not be used for professional purposes.
All ghd products are individually tested before leaving the factory. However in the unlikely event of the
product proving defective due to faulty workmanship or materials, then, at its sole discretion, ghd will replace
the product at no charge with an identical or equivalent product within two years from the original date of
purchase. A replacement product assumes the remaining guarantee of the original product or 180 days,
whichever provides longer coverage for you. When a product is exchanged, any replacement item becomes
your property and the replaced item becomes property of ghd.

7. Zorg dat tijdens het drogen of stylen uw haar de luchtinlaat aan de achterzijde van uw droger
niet bedekt of daarmee in contact komt.

1. Zorg voor optimale werking van uw ghd ight+™ dat het achterlter schoon blijft door het
regelmatig schoon te maken.
2. Ga voor het schoonmaken als volgt te werk: ontkoppel eerst de ghd ight+™ van de
netvoeding. Gebruik een zachte kwast en verwijder voorzichtig alle stof en haar.
3. Niet schoonmaken met schurende of bijtende producten.

In het onwaarschijnlijke geval dat uw product van ghd niet goed werkt, controleert u dan of het
product van ghd en de stroombron zijn ingeschakeld en dat stroom beschikbaar is.

fabrieksgarantie
De ghd ight + is alleen bedoeld voor het drogen en stylen van haar en mag alleen met dit doel gebruikt
worden. Het is alleen gemaakt voor thuisgebruik en moet niet voor professionele doeleinden gebruikt worden.
Alle elektrische ghd-producten worden afzonderlijk getest voordat zij de fabriek verlaten. In het onwaarschijnlijke
geval dat het product defect blijkt te zijn als gevolg van slecht vakmanschap of slechte materialen, zal ghd
vervangen door een identiek of een gelijkwaardig product, binnen één jaar na de oorspronkelijke aankoopdatum.
Voor een vervangend product geldt de resterende garantie van het oorspronkelijke product of een garantietermijn
van 180 dagen, welk van de twee voor u de langste dekking biedt. Als een product wordt omgewisseld, wordt
elk vervangend artikel uw eigendom en wordt het vervangen artikel eigendom van ghd.

retourvoorwaarden krijgen. Het is belangrijk om uw factuur goed te bewaren voor
de garantie.

op producten die zijn hersteld of onderhouden door anderen dan personeel of
vertegenwoordigers van ghd. NB Deze garantie kan ongeldig worden als serienummers of identicatie zijn

Pour réduire les risques d’électrocution :
1. N’utilisez pas l’appareil si le cordon d’alimentation est endommagé.
2. Ne tirez pas ou ne forcez pas sur le cordon d’alimentation. Ne débranchez pas en tirant sur le
cordon. Éteignez de préférence votre ghd ight+ tout d’abord en positionnant l’interrupteur sur
OFF puis en le débranchant.
3. N’utilisez pas de rallonge électrique pour brancher le ghd ight+.
4. Ne l’utilisez pas à des températures inférieures à 5°C et supérieures à 35°C.
5. Tenez votre ghd ight+ par la poignée, ne le tenez ni par le corps ni par l’embout
concentrateur d’air qui peuvent être très chauds.
6. Évitez tout contact direct avec les parties chaudes du ghd ight+, en particulier avec les yeux, les
oreilles, le visage et le cou.
7. Ne posez jamais le ghd ight+ sur des surfaces sensibles à la chaleur ou ne le couvrez jamais
pendant ou immédiatement après son utilisation.
IMPORTANT : Le ghd ight+ est conçu pour une alimentation électrique 120/220-
240V. N’utilisez pas l’appareil avec une alimentation électrique autre que celle

2. Veillez à ce que l’eau en excès sur vos cheveux ou toute autre source d’eau ou de liquide ne coule pas

3. Pour un séchage rapide, utilisez votre ghd ight+ sans embout concentrateur d’air.
4. Remarque : Le montage de l’embout concentrateur d’air peut être plus dicile lorsqu’il est froid, et surtout
lorsque l’appareil et l’embout sont neufs
5. Ne couvrez jamais la sortie d’air ni le système de ventilation placé à l’arrière de l’appareil.

Um das Risiko eines Stromschlags zu reduzieren:
1. Das Gerät nicht verwenden, wenn das Kabel beschädigt ist.

3. Verwenden Sie kein elektrisches Verlängerungskabel in Verbindung mit ghd ight+.
4. Nicht bei Temperaturen unter 5 °C und über 35 °C verwenden.
5. Halten Sie ghd ight+ am Gri und nicht am Gehäuse oder an der Zentrierdüse, da diese
Teile heiß werden können.
6. Vermeiden Sie einen direkten Kontakt der heißen Oberäche des ghd ight+ mit der Haut,
insbesondere den Augen, Ohren, dem Gesicht und Hals.
7. Stellen Sie ghd Flight nie auf eine wärmeempndliche Oberäche bzw. decken Sie in während
oder unmittelbar nach dem Gebrauch nie ab.
WICHTIG: Dieser ghd Flight ist bestimmt für 120/220-240 V. Es darf keine andere
Stromquelle außer der auf dem Typenschild angegebenen verwendet werden.
1. Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht in Verbindung mit einem Spannungswandler.
2. Prüfen Sie stets, ob die Stromspannung in der Steckdose mit der Spannung Ihres

Der ghd ight+ ist mit einer wärmeempndlichen Sicherheitsabschaltung ausgestattet. Im Fall der Überhitzung (zum
Beispiel, wenn der Filter hinten blockiert ist), schaltet sich der Haartrockner automatisch ab. Schalten Sie dann den
Haartrockner mit dem Schalter aus und lassen Sie ihn wieder abkühlen.
Sollte Ihr ghd ight+ kaputtgehen bzw. nicht richtig funktionieren, stellen Sie bitte den Betrieb sofort ein und den
Betrieb sofort ein und nehmen Sie mit ghd (Jemella Ltd) Kontakt auf. Siehe Kontaktdaten.
Ihr ghd ight+ sollte nur mit Spezialwerkzeug und von qualizierten Experten bei ghd repariert werden.

1. Nachdem Sie Ihr Haar gewaschen haben, trocknen Sie es gründlich mit einem Handtuch ab.
2. Lassen Sie dabei das überschüssige Wasser vom Haar oder einer anderen Quelle nicht in
Kontakt mit dem ghd ight+ kommen.
3. Für eine schnelle Trocknung, verwenden Sie den ghd ight+ ohne Zentrierdüse.
4. Anmerkung: Der Sitz der Zentrierdüse kann recht fest sein, besonders wenn der Haartrockner
und die Düse neu sind.
5. Decken Sie das Gebläse bzw. die Ansaugönung nicht ab.
6. Verwenden Sie den Wahlschalter, um die Lüftergeschwindigkeit und die Trocknungstemperatur
einzustellen:

Rückseite des Trockners in Berührung kommt.

1. Lassen Sie den ghd ight+ vor der Aufbewahrung immer erst abkühlen.
2. Wenn sich der ghd ight+ abgekühlt hat, falten Sie das Netzkabel so zusammen, wie es
anfänglich in der Verpackung geliefert wurde. Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel nicht um den
Reisehaartrockner herum, um eine Überbelastung des Kabels und einen vorübergehenden
Betriebsausfall zu vermeiden.
reinigung des ghd ight+TM
1. Um sicherzustellen, dass ghd ight+ mit maximaler Ezienz arbeitet, vergewissern Sie sich
immer, dass der hintere Filter sauber ist, indem Sie ihn regelmäßig reinigen.
2. Dazu trennen Sie zuerst den ghd ight+ vom Netz. Nehmen Sie dann eine sanfte Bürste und
beseitigen Sie damit vorsichtig Staub und Haare aus dem Filter.
3. Reinigen Sie den Filter nie mit aggressiven oder ätzenden Produkten.
Herstellergarantie
ghd ight+ ist ausschließlich zum Trocknen und Stylen von Haar vorgesehen und darf nur für diesen Zweck
verwendet werden. Es ist nur für den Gebrauch im Haushalt vorgesehen und sollte nicht für beruiche
Zwecke verwendet werden.
Die ghd Deutschland GmbH, Dornhaldenstr. 10/1, 70199 Stuttgart (nachfolgend „ghd“) garantiert dem
Endkunden (nachfolgend „Kunde“) nach Maßgabe der nachfolgenden Bestimmungen für einen Zeitraum von
drei Jahren (bei platinum+ Stylern), zwei Jahren (alle anderen Produkte) ab dem Kaufdatum, dass das Produkt
bei Übergabe frei von Material- oder Verarbeitungsfehlern war (Beschaenheitsgarantie). Für professionelle
Anwender beträgt die Garantiedauer für Haartrockner ein Jahr.
Im Garantiefall wird ghd das Produkt nach eigenem Ermessen auf seine Kosten
entweder austauschen oder den Kaufpreis erstatten. Handelt es sich um ein Gerät
aus einer limitierten Edition, kann das Gerät nur durch ein gleichwertiges Gerät aus
unserem Standardsortiment ausgetauscht werden. ghd wird sich in einem solchen
Fall vor dem Versand des Ersatzgerätes mit dem Kunden in Verbindung setzen. Die
Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf Zubehör, wie Kabel oder Taschen.
Die gesetzlichen Gewährleistungsrechte des Kunden gegenüber dem jeweiligen
Verkäufer bei einem Sachmangel werden durch diese Garantie nicht eingeschränkt.
Ansprüche aus dieser Garantie bestehen nur, wenn
• es sich um ein original ghd-Produkt handelt, das bei einem autorisierten ghd-Händler in Deutschland oder
Österreich erworben wurde,
• das Produkt keine Schäden oder Verschleißerscheinungen aufweist, die durch einen von der normalen
Bestimmung und den Vorgaben in diesem Safety Guide abweichenden Gebrauch verursacht wurden,
• das Produkt keine Merkmale aufweist, die auf Reparaturen oder sonstige Eingrie schließen lassen,
• die Fabrikationsnummer nicht entfernt oder unkenntlich gemacht wurde.
• Der Kaufbeleg mit Kaufdatum vorgelegt wird.
Ansprüche aus der Garantie können nur durch Einsendung des Produkts über den Retouren-Service
und das Retouren-Formular geltend gemacht werden. Dieses Formular steht auch unter www.ghdhair.
com/de/returns zur Verfügung. Diese Garantie gilt in dem vorstehend genannten Umfang und unter den
oben genannten Voraussetzungen (einschließlich der Vorlage des Kaufnachweises auch im Falle der
Weiterveräußerung) für jeden künftigen Eigentümer des Produkts. Diese Garantie unterliegt dem Recht der

Όταν το ghd ight+™ χρησιμοποιείται
σε μπάνιο, αποσυνδέστε το από
την πρίζα μετά τη χρήση, καθώς η
εγγύτητα του νερού αποτελεί κίνδυνο,
ακόμη και όταν το ghd ight+™ είναι
απενεργοποιημένο.
Για πρόσθετη προστασία, η
εγκατάσταση μιας συσκευής
υπολειπόμενου ρεύματος (RCD) με
ρεύμα λειτουργίας που δεν υπερβαίνει
τα 30mA συνιστάται κατά τη χρήση
αυτού του προϊόντος. Παρακαλώ
επικοινωνήστε με έναν ηλεκτρολόγο
για περισσότερες λεπτομέρειες.
ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ: Ποτέ μην χρησιμοποιείτε το
ghd ight+™ με βρεγμένα χέρια, μέσα
ή κοντά σε νερό, μπανιέρες, ντους,

Αυτή η συσκευή μπορεί να
χρησιμοποιηθεί από παιδιά
ηλικίας 8 ετών και άνω και από
άτομα με μειωμένες κινητικές,
αισθητηριακές ή νοητικές
ικανότητες ή έλλειψη εμπειρίας
και γνώσεων, εφόσον βρίσκονται
υπό επιτήρηση ή τους έχουν δοθεί
οδηγίες από ένα άτομο υπεύθυνο
για την ασφάλειά τους, σχετικά με
τη χρήση της συσκευής με ασφαλή

Η Jemella Ltd θα αντικαταστήσει το προϊόν δωρεάν μόνο
εάν αυτό βρίσκεται εντός της εγγύησης.
Για να μειώσετε τον κίνδυνο ηλεκτροπληξίας:
1. Μην το χρησιμοποιείτε εάν το καλώδιο έχει υποστεί ζημιά.
2. Μην τραβάτε ή τεντώνετε το καλώδιο ρεύματος και μην αποσυνδέετε το ghd ight+ τραβώντας
το καλώδιο, αλλά αποσυνδέστε το απομονώνοντας το διακόπτη ρεύματος και στη συνέχεια
αφαιρώντας το φις.
3. Μην χρησιμοποιείτε ηλεκτρικό καλώδιο προέκτασης σε συνδυασμό με το ghd ight+.
4. Μην το χρησιμοποιείτε σε θερμοκρασίες κάτω από 5°C και πάνω από 35°C.
5. Κρατάτε το ghd ight+ από τη λαβή. Μην το κρατάτε από το περίβλημα ή το ακροφύσιο του
συγκεντρωτή, τα οποία μπορεί να καίνε.
6. Προσέξτε να αποφύγετε την άμεση επαφή της καυτής επιφάνειας του ghd ight+ με το δέρμα,
ιδιαίτερα με το μάτια, τα αυτιά, το πρόσωπο και το λαιμό.
7. Ποτέ μην τοποθετείτε το ghd ight+ πάνω σε οποιαδήποτε ευαίσθητη στη θερμότητα
επιφάνεια ή μην το καλύπτετε κατά τη διάρκεια ή αμέσως μετά τη χρήση.
ΣΗΜΑΝΤΙΚΟ: Αυτό το ghd ight+ έχει σχεδιαστεί για 120/220-240V. Μην το χρησιμοποιείτε
με άλλες πηγές ρεύματος εκτός από εκείνες που καθορίζονται στην πινακίδα ονομαστικών
χαρακτηριστικών.

4. Οποιοδήποτε σφάλμα που εκδηλώνεται κατά τη σύνδεση του ghd ight+ μπορεί να προκαλέσει
ανεπανόρθωτη βλάβη, η οποία δεν καλύπτεται από το την εγγύηση.

Το ghd ight+ πρέπει να αποσυνδέεται από την πρίζα παροχής ρεύματος:
1. πριν από τον καθαρισμό και τις διαδικασίες συντήρησης του.
2. εάν δεν λειτουργεί σωστά.
3. αμέσως μόλις τελειώσετε τη χρήση του.
4. εάν φύγετε από το δωμάτιο, έστω και στιγμιαία.
Το ghd ight+ είναι εξοπλισμένο με μια θερμοευαίσθητη συσκευή ασφαλείας. Σε περίπτωση υπερθέρμανσης
(π.χ. αν η πίσω σχάρα είναι φραγμένη), το σεσουάρ μαλλιών θα σταματήσει αυτόματα. Απομονώστε το σεσουάρ
μαλλιών από την παροχή ρεύματος και αφήστε το να κρυώσει πριν το χρησιμοποιήσετε ξανά.
Εάν το ghd ight+ σας έχει χαλάσει ή δεν λειτουργεί σωστά, σταματήστε αμέσως να το χρησιμοποιείτε και
επικοινωνήστε με την ghd (Jemella Ltd), βλ. στοιχεία επικοινωνίας.
Το ghd ight+ σας πρέπει να επισκευάζεται μόνο με τη χρήση ειδικών εργαλείων και από εξειδικευμένους
ειδικούς της ghd

Η μη τήρηση αυτών των προφυλάξεων ασφαλείας μπορεί να προκαλέσει ηλεκτροπληξία ή άλλους τραυματισμούς!
Μεταβλητή τάση
Το ghd ight+ είναι εξοπλισμένο με έναν επιλογέα διπλής τάσης (Εικ.1). Για να
χρησιμοποιήσετε αυτή τη λειτουργία, απλά τοποθετήστε ένα κέρμα για να αλλάξετε την
επιλογή του ghd ight+ ώστε να δέχεται την απαιτούμενη εισερχόμενη τάση, δηλαδή 120V
ή 240V.
Σημείωση: Πριν
χρησιμοποιήσετε αυτό το
προϊόν, βεβαιωθείτε ότι ο
επιλογέας τάσης έχει ρυθμιστεί
για τη σωστή τάση και μην
ενεργοποιείτε τον επιλογέα
τάσης όταν το προϊόν είναι
σε λειτουργία. Εάν έχετε
αμφιβολία επικοινωνήστε με
ένα εξειδικευμένο άτομο.
