Troubleshooting
ForWindows2000,ifthecalledpartycannothearyouoronly
hearsstaticwhenyouaretalkingonSkype,makesurethe
microphoneisworkingproperlyonyourcomputer:
1. GotoStart>Settings>Control Panel>Sounds and
Multimedia.
2. ChoosetheAudioTab.
3. LocatetheVolumesectionofSound recording.
4. IftheMicrophonecontroldoesnotshow,clickon
Option >Properties,selectRecording,andcheck
MicrophoneinShow the following volume controls.
ClickOK.
5. ActivateMicrophoneandadjustthevolume,thenclose
thewindow.
6. ClickOKwhennished.
7. Next,openSkypeandgotoTools>Options.
8. ChoosetheAudio SettingsTabintheGeneralmenu.
9. Deactivate“Let Skype adjust my audio settings”under
theMicrophonesection.

Listening Safely

trafchazardandcouldbeillegalinsomeareas.
Toprotectyourhearing,followtheseguidelines:
• Donotlistenathighvolumelevels.Extendedhigh-volume
listeningcanleadtopermanenthearingloss.
• Setthevolumetothelowestsetting.Thenturnonyour
audiodeviceandadjustthevolumetoacomfortablelevel.
• Avoidincreasingthevolume.Yourearswilladapttothe
volumelevel,soalevelthatdoesnotcausediscomfort
couldstilldamageyourhearing.

IgnitionL.P.warrantsthisproductagainstdefectsinmaterialsandworkmanshipundernormal
