Conservare e impiegare l’apparecchio lontano dalla portata dei bambini.
Sorvegliare i bambini per evitare che giochino con l’apparecchio.
• Collegare l’apparecchio solo nel seguente modo:
- tramite cavo 230Vac alla rete domestica di corrente alternata.
- tramite cavo 12Vdc alla presa accendisigari dell’autovettura.
• Non estrarre mai la spina dall’accendisigari o dalla presa domestica tirando il cavo di allacciamento.
• Se il cavo di allacciamento è danneggiato, deve essere sostituito con un cavo dello stesso tipo e con le stesse
specifiche. Non toccare mai i cavi nudi a mani nude, soprattutto per il funzionamento con rete di alimentazione in
corrente alternata:
Attenzione: Pericolo di morte!
• Staccare il cavo di allacciamento prima della pulizia e dopo ogni utilizzo.
• Confrontare i dati della tensione riportati sulla targhetta con quelli delle prese e degli attacchi disponibili.
• Prima della messa in funzione assicurarsi che la linea di alimentazione e la spina siano asciutte.
• Non utilizzare in zone troppo polverose. La polvere potrebbe ostruire i condotti di aerazione danneggiando il
frigorifero.
Attenzione: pericolo di surriscaldamento!
Assicurarsi che il calore generato durante il funzionamento sfiati sufficientemente. Assicurarsi che la distanza fra
l’apparecchio e le pareti o altri oggetti permetta all’aria di circolare liberamente (almeno 30 cm).
• Non versare nessun tipo di liquido o ghiaccio nel contenitore interno.
• Non immergere mai l’apparecchio in acqua.
• Proteggere l’apparecchio e i cavi dal caldo e dall’umidità.
• Per evitare surriscaldamento o malfunzionamento, assicurarsi che lo spinotto abbia un buon contatto elettrico
nella presa dell’auto.
• Dopo l’utilizzo, non toccare la punta metallica dello spinotto, in quanto puó raggiungere temperature elevate.

•Collegamento alla presa accendisigari 12Vdc
- Estrarre o collegare il cavo 12Vdc al coperchio dell’apparecchio (a seconda del modello)
- Inserire il carplug (fig.1) nella presa accendisigari
•Collegamento alla rete di alimentazione domestica in corrente alternata 230Vac
- Collegare il cavo 230Vac al coperchio dell’apparecchio
- Inserire la spina (fig.2) nella presa di corrente alternata
• Per motivi igienici, ogni volta che si utilizza il frigorifero, pulire l’interno e l’esterno con un panno umido.
• Si consiglia di inserire all’interno del frigorifero elettrico cibi e bevande precedentemente raffreddati.
• Lasciare raffreddare i cibi caldi prima di immagazzinarli nell’apparecchio.
• Collocare il frigo su una base stabile.
• Il frigorifero deve essere aperto il minor numero di volte possibile e subito richiuso, per mantenere all’interno una temperatura
costante.
• Anche a frigorifero spento, grazie allo speciale isolamento, i cibi e le bevande verranno mantenuti freschi a lungo. Per
potenziare e prolungare nel tempo l’effetto refrigerante, si consiglia l’impiego di accumulatori di freddo originali Gio’Style
(vedere tabella accessori).

Collegare SEMPRE lo spinotto nel giusto verso
Attenzione!
Per i modelli a doppia alimentazione: non collegare MAI contemporaneamente il cavo di alimentazione 12Vdc ed il cavo di
alimentazione 230Vac.
Le performance del frigorifero sono riportate nelle tabelle relative ad ogni singolo prodotto (vedere sezione:
TESTS), dove ad ogni valore di temperatura esterna corrisponde una temperatura interna media. I dati sono
riferiti al frigorifero vuoto, dopo un funzionamento di 180 min. I dati riportati nelle tabelle possono subire variazioni
in difetto o in eccesso di circa 1,5°C.
• Attenzione!
Qualora si debbano raffreddare medicinali, controllare che l’apparecchio disponga di una potenza frigorifera in
grado di soddisfare i requisiti dei rispettivi farmaci (vedere tabella prestazioni ).
• Attenzione!
Il prodotto non è un frigorifero convenzionale ma un apparecchio atto alla conservazione dei cibi.
Non utilizzare il prodotto per periodi superiori alle 36h di funzionamento continuo.
Un utilizzo prolungato e continuativo può ridurre le prestazioni o danneggiare il sistema refrigerante.
Una volta spento il frigorifero, attendere almeno 2 ore prima di rimetterlo in funzione.
• Attenzione!
Dopo un lungo periodo di funzionamento, è possibile che si depositi acqua all’interno del frigorifero. Questo è
normale poiché l’umidità dell’aria, raffreddandosi, si condensa.
Il frigorifero non è guasto. Se necessario, eliminare l’eccessiva umidità con un panno asciutto.
• Nota!
Il raffreddamento avviene mediante sistema refrigerante Peltier privo di CFC e di liquidi refrigeranti.
Sul coperchio sono presenti un display (A-B) e una tastiera (C), che permettono la gestione del frigorifero elettrico.
Le impostazioni sono le seguenti:
ACCENSIONE / SPEGNIMENTO: tenere premuto il tasto centrale per almeno 2 secondi.
IMPOSTAZIONE TEMPERATURA INTERNA:
1) Selezionare la funzione con il tasto .
2) Impostare la temperatura . (* Nel modello Mr.Hyde é possibile impostare anche una temperatura superiore
a quella ambiente -funzione di riscaldamento- ).
3) Confermare con il tasto centrale.

6 PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
• Attenzione!
Prima di effettuare la pulizia del frigorifero elettrico scollegare il cavo di allacciamento dalla presa di rete o dalla
presa dell’accendisigari.
• Attenzione!
Non immergere mai il frigorifero sotto acqua corrente.
• Per la pulizia non impiegare detergenti corrosivi oppure oggetti ruvidi.
• Pulire di tanto in tanto l’interno e l’esterno del frigorifero con un panno umido.
• Proteggere il coperchio refrigerante dalla penetrazione di liquidi, sabbia o polvere.
4) Impostare scala gradi °C o in °F tramite tasti e confermare con tasto centrale .
L’ illuminazione della spia indica che è attiva la funzione di raffreddamento.
*Solo per il modello Mr.Hyde, l’ illuminazione della spia indica che è attiva la funzione di riscaldamento.
IMPOSTAZIONE AUDIO:
1) Selezionare la funzione con il tasto .
2) Impostare 01 per attivare l’audio, 00 per disattivarlo.
3) Confermare con il tasto centrale.
PROTEZIONE BATTERIA:
1) Selezionare la funzione con il tasto .
2) Impostare con il livello di protezione della batteria dell’auto durante il funzionamento del frigorifero
elettrico

3) Confermare con il tasto centrale.
IMPOSTAZIONE ACCENSIONE PROGRAMMATA:
1) Selezionare la funzione con il tasto .
2) Impostare timer con il numero di ore mancanti alla partenza tramite i tasti .
3) Confermare con il tasto centrale.
SEGNALAZIONE ALLARME:
1) Batteria scarica (Intervento soglia batteria auto).
2) La ventola non funziona correttamente o è bloccata da un corpo estraneo.
3) Il Peltier non funziona correttamente.
In caso di allarme, premere il tasto centrale per impostare il comando RESET;
Se il problema persiste, rivolgersi a personale specializzato per effettuare la riparazione
(*vedi: Problemi e soluzioni / Garanzia).
7 PROBLEMI E SOLUZIONI
Il frigorifero non funziona e il display non si
accende (se collegato alla presa
accendisigari).

L’accendisigari del veicolo è privo di
tensione. In molti autoveicoli occorre accendere il
quadro comandi per far funzionare
l’accendisigari.
Il fusibile della spina accendisigari è
bruciato. Sostituire il fusibile (fig.3) con uno uguale. Leggere sul fusibile i dati tecnici.
Il fusibile del veicolo è bruciato. Sostituire il fusibile osservando il manuale
d’uso dell’autoveicolo.
Se collegato alla rete domestica 230V,
il frigorifero non funziona e non si accende
il display.
L’alimentatore integrato è guasto.
Il cavo di alimentazione della corrente
alternata è guasto. Sostituire il cavo con uno nuovo originale.

8 GARANZIA
9 SMALTIMENTO
• Il frigorifero è garantito per 48 mesi a partire dal giorno di acquisto contro difetti di fabbricazione che non siano attribuibili ad un
uso non appropriato.
• Qualora il prodotto risultasse difettoso, La preghiamo di rivolgersi al servizio consumatori Gio’style sul sito:
www.giostyle.com, oppure contattare il distributore più vicino (vedi elenco sul retro del manuale).
• Perché siano valide le condizioni di garanzia è necessario essere in possesso della seguente documentazione:
- una copia della fattura con la data di acquisto del prodotto.
- un motivo su cui fondare il reclamo, oppure la descrizione del guasto.
Smaltire i materiali d’imballaggio negli appositi contenitori, senza disperderli nell’ambiente.
Quando l’apparecchio viene messo fuori uso definitivamente, informarsi al centro di riciclaggio piú vicino, oppure
presso il proprio rivenditore specializzato, sulle prescrizioni adeguate riguardanti lo smaltimento.
Gio’Style Lifestyle S.p.A. aderisce a Consorzio Remedia per adempiere agli obblighi operativi e finanziari
posti a carico dal Dlgs 151/05, trasporto, reimpiego, trattamento, recupero, riciclaggio e smaltimento dei
RAEE domestici.
Sistema collettivo per la gestione dei RAEE (Rifiuti di Apparecchiature Elettriche ed Elettroniche), costituito da
aziende che producono e/o commercializzano apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche di tipologie e funzionalità
diverse.
Il Decreto Legislativo 151/05 stabilisce che i costi delle attività di raccolta e trattamento dei RAEE sono a carico dei
produttori i quali, attraverso il sistema collettivo al quale hanno aderito, adempiono agli obblighi stabiliti dalla legge
in questo ambito.

2 SAFETY WARNINGS
• Do not operate the appliance if it is visibly damaged.
• Carefully clean the inside of the box before use.
• Do not place the appliance near naked flames or other heat sources, nor dip it into water.
• Avoid covering the ventilation vents.
• This appliance may only be repaired by qualified personnel. Improper repairs can lead to considerable
hazards (please read § “Guarantee”).
• We suggest you store your food products in the original packaging or in suitable food trays.
• The appliance is not suitable to store corrosive materials or substances containing solvents.
• Electrical appliances are not toys!
Keep and use the appliance out of reach of children.
Children must not be left unattended when using the appliance.
• The appliance shall only be connected as instructed below:
- use a 230Vac cable for connection to AC household mains outlet.
- use a 12Vdc cable for connection to your vehicle cigarette-lighter socket.
•Never unplug the appliance from the cigarette-lighter socket or the household mains socket by pulling the power
cable.
•If the connection cable is damaged, it must be replaced with a new one of the same type and sharing the same
specifications. Do not touch exposed cables with your bare hands. This especially applies when operating the
appliance on an AC mains:
Caution: Danger of fatal injury!
•Always disconnect the power cable before cleaning and after use.
•Always compare the voltage data provided on the rating plate with that of the available sockets and outlets.
•Before operating the electrobox, always ensure that the power supply line and the plug are dry.
•Do not operate the device in excessively dusty places. Dust is likely to obstruct the air ducts and bring damages to
the coolbox.
Caution: Danger of overheating!
• Check that any heat produced during operation is adequately given off. Ensure that the distance between the
appliance and the walls or other objects allows a free circulation of air (30 cm at least).
• Do not pour any liquid or ice into the inner box.
• Never place the appliance in water.
• Protect the device and all wires from heat and humidity.
• To avoid overheating or malfunction, ensure the plug fits into the vehicle cigarette-lighter socket to make proper
electrical contact.
• Do not touch the metal end of the plug after use, as it may be very hot and cause burns.
• Gio’Style declines all responsibilities for damages caused by improper use or misuse of the appliance.
3 CONNECTIONS

•Connection to AC 230Vac household power supply mains
- Connect the 230Vac cable to the coolbox lid
- Plug the power cable (fig.2) into the alternating current socket
Caution!
Ensure you ALWAYS plug in the power cable from the correct side.
Caution!
For models where a dual power supply mode is provided: NEVER connect the 12 Vdc and the 230 Vac cables at the same
time.
4 USE
• For health-related reasons, always clean the appliance inside and outside with a wet cloth any time you use the coolbox.
• Always store previously cooled food and drinks in the coolbox.
• Let warm food cool down before storing them in the coolbox.
• Connect the device on a stable base.
• The coolbox must be opened as little as possible, and it must be reclosed in the shortest time so that a constant temperature
can be held inside.
• The special insulation allows food and drinks to remain fresh for a long time even when the coolbox is off. To maximize and
extend the cooling effect over time, we suggest you use the ice packs (seeACCESSORIES).
• Caution!
In cases when medications need to be cooled, please ensure the device has a cooling power rating that suits the
requirements of all medications (see table of performance).
• Caution!
This coolbox is not a traditional refrigerator. It is a food storage device.
Never use the product for more than 36 hours of continuous operation.
Prolonged and continuous use may reduce performance or even damage the cooling system.
Once the coolbox is off, wait at least 2 hours before turning it on again.
• Caution!
After a long period of operation, water may form and accumulate at the bottom of the coolbox. This is normal, as air
humidity condenses during the cooling process. This means the coolbox is not broken.
If necessary, remove excess humidity with a wet cloth.
• Caution!
The cooling is produced by a Peltier cooling system that does not contain CFC or coolants.
The lid hosts a display unit (A-B) and a keypad (C), to operate the electrical coolbox. The settings are:
POWER ON/ POWER OFF: hold the middle key pressed for at least two seconds.
INTERNAL TEMPERATURE SETTING:
1) Select the function by pressing the key .
2) Set the temperature by suing (* In the Mr. Hyde version, a temperature even higher than room temperature
may be set – warm-up function - ).
3) Confirm by pressing the middle key.
4) Set the scale in °C or °F degrees by means of the cursor keys and confirm by pressing the middle key.
If indicator lamp is on, the cooling mode is enabled
*For the Mr. Hyde version only, the lighting up of the indicator lamp indicates the warming-up mode is enabled.
AUDIO SETTING:
1) Select the function by pressing the key .
2) Set 01 to enable the audio function, 00 to inhibit the audio function.
3) Confirm the entry by pressing the middle key.
5 OPERATION
The coolbox performance values are listed in the tables referring to the various product types (see section: TESTS). In these
tables, each external temperature value matches an average internal temperature value. This data refers to an empty coolbox,
after 180 minutes of operation, and may vary above or below 1.5°C.

BATTERY PROTECTION:
1) Select the function by pressing the key .
2) Set the car battery protection level during coolbox operation by means of the keys .

PROGRAMMABLE SWITCHING ON FUNCTION:
1) Select the function by pressing the key .
2) Set the timer with the number of hours to go before start through the keys .
3) Confirm the entry by pressing the middle key.
ALARM INDICATIONS:
1) Battery down (car battery threshold trip)
2) The fan does not operate properly or is blocked by a foreign body
3) The Peltier member does not operate properly
In the event of an alarm, press the middle key to actuate the RESET function;

6 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Warning!
Before cleaning the electrobox, disconnect the power cable from the mains socket or the cigarette lighter socket.
• Caution!
Never clean the appliance under running water.
• Do not use corrosive detergents or rough objects for cleaning purposes.
• Clean the coolbox inside and outside from time to time with a wet cloth.
• Protect the cooling lid from penetrating liquids, sand or dust.
7 TROUBLE-SHOOTING
The coolbox does not operate and the
display unit does not go on (if connected to
the cigarette lighter socket).
PROBLEM

The coolbox does not operate when it is
connected to the 230 V household mains,
and the display unit does not go on.
The fan turns but the coolbox does not
cool.
Water forms inside the coolbox during
operation.
The vehicle cigarette lighter does not
receive voltage.
Ventilation slots are partly or thoroughly
obstructed.
The coolbox has been operating for a
long time, which causes the formation of
condensate.
Battery low: immediate actuation of the
automatic lock-out device provided for this
model.
In many motor vehicles, switching on
the dashboard is required to operate the
cigarette lighter.
The cigarette lighter socket fuse is blown.
The built-in power feeder is faulty.
Replace the fuse (fig.3) with another one
equal in type. Read the technical rating
printed on the fuse.

The AC power cable is faulty.
Replace the fuse according to the instruc-
tions provided by the vehicle user’s manual.
Replace the cable with a new original one.
Check both internal and external ventilation
slots. Move the coolbox to a place where it
can be more ventilated.
Dry up excess water with a cloth, ensuring
that the coolbox is disconnected.
Wait a few hours before switching it on
again.
Start the car engine or unplug the coolbox
from the cigarette lighter socket.

8 GUARANTEE
•The coolbox is under guarantee for 48 months from the purchase date against manufacturing defects that do not depend on
improper use.
• If the product turns out to be defective, please address Gio’Style Consumer Service on website: www.giostyle.com, or
contact the nearest distributor (see list on the back cover of this handbook).
•The guarantee conditions only apply if the following documents are available:
- a copy of the invoice bearing the product purchase date.
- a sound reason for complaint or fault description.
9 DISPOSAL
Dispose of packing materials by using the special containers, without scattering them freely.
When the appliance is ultimately scrapped, please enquire on the location of the nearest recycling point, or ask
your specialized dealer for appropriate instructions for disposal.
