is covered by a 1-year warranty, and Filter Cartridge is covered by a 30-day warranty from date of purchase.

5224) to receive the replacement item. Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) from the original consumer
purchaser must be made available for all Glacier Bay warranty claims.
This warranty excludes incidental/inconsequential damages and failures due to misuse, abuse or normal wear and
tear. This warranty excludes all industrial, commercial and business usage, whose purchasers are hereby extended
a five year limited warranty from the date of purchase, with all other terms of this warranty applying except the

Read and follow Use Instructions before installation and use of
this system.
Installation and use MUST comply with all state and local
plumbing codes.
Do not use hot water supply for the filtration portion of this system.
Cold water supply should be used for the filtration.
Protect from freezing, remove filter cartridge when temperatures
are expected to drop below 35° F (1.7° C).
Do not install if water pressure exceeds 125psi (8.8 Kg/cm ).
If your water pressure exceeds 80 psi (5.6 Kg/cm ), you must
install a pressure limiting valve. Contact a plumbing professional
if you are uncertain how to check your water pressure.

Do not install systems in areas where ambient temperatures
may go above 110° F (43.3° C).
The disposable filter cartridge should be replaced every 6
months, at the rated capacity or sooner if a noticeable reduction
in flow rate occurs.
Where a backflow prevention device is installed on a water
system, a device for controlling pressure due to thermal
expansion must be installed.
Do not install where water hammer conditions may occur.
If water hammer conditions exist you must install a water
hammer arrester. Contact a plumbing professional if you are
uncertain how to check for this condition.
Ensure all tubing and fittings are secure and free of leaks.
On plastic fittings, never use pipe sealant or pipe dope. Use PTFE
thread tape only as pipe dope may deteriorate the plastic.
Do not use a torch or other high temperature sources near
system, cartridges, plastic fittings or plastic plumbing.
Do not install in direct sunlight or outdoors.
Do not install near water pipes which will be in path of a drilling
tool when selecting the position to mount the bracket.
Mount system in such a position as to prevent it from being
struck by other items used in the area of installation.
Ensure that the location and fasteners will support the weight of
the system when installed and full of water.

Installation

CAUTION: Always shut off the water supply before
removing an existing faucet or replacing any part of a
faucet. Open the faucet handle to relieve water pressure
and ensure that the water is completely shut off.
□Shut off the water supply.
□Install the faucet assembly (A)-including outlet
tube (1), hose (2), supply hose (3), supply
hose (4), outlet tube (5) and sensor cable (6)
-through the hole in the sink in sequence.

NOTE: Silicone sealant is required under the gasket (E).
NOTE: This step is for no escutcheon installation (optional).
If the escutcheon will be used, install the faucet assembly
as described in step 2.

Installing the faucet assembly Installing the faucet assembly
□Place the escutcheon (D) and the gasket (E) on
the bottom of the new faucet assembly (A).
□Install the faucet assembly (A)-including outlet
tube (1), hose (2), supply hose (3), supply
hose (4), outlet tube (5) and sensor cable (6)
-through the hole in the escutcheon (D) in
sequence.

3 Securing the faucet assembly
□From underneath the sink, secure the faucet
assembly to the sink with the FastMount™
system (B). The FastMount™ system (B) through
the outlet tube (1), hose (2), supply hose (3),
supply hose (4), outlet tube (5) and sensor
cable (6) in sequence. Push the FastMount™
system (B) up over the threads until it stops
against the bottom of the sink, then hand turn
(clockwise) to tighten (Fig 1).

4 Attaching the quick connector
to the receiving block
□Push the quick connector (C) with the blue tab
firmly upward and attach it to the receiving
block (1) with blue. Pull down moderately to
ensure the connection has been made. If it is
necessary to remove the quick connector (C),
squeeze the tabs on the quick connector (C)
and then pull down to disconnect.

5 Installing the weight
□Insert the weight (F) onto the clip (G) by sliding
it down onto the clip (G).
□Install the weight clip (G) at the point of the
hose marking “weight here”.
6Making the water supply
connections
□Attach the tee connector (H) onto the outlet of
the cold water supply valve (1) and tighten with
wrench. Do not overtighten.
□Thread the nut (2) on the cold supply line onto
the tee connector (H) and tighten with wrench.
Do not overtighten.
□Thread the nut (3) on the hot supply line onto
the outlet of the hot water supply valve (4) and
tighten with wrench. Do not overtighten.
NOTE: The hot side inlet tube is indicated by a label. Avoid
twisting wires together or placing the wires close to each
other and damaging.

7 Connecting the hose
□Connect the other end (3) with inlet indicated by the tag of the hose (I) into the end (4) with inlet indicated
of the filtration manifold (J). Pull moderately to ensure the connection has been made.
□After connection is completed, turn on the cold water supply valve to flush the water line for ten minutes.
This flushes out any harmless carbon fibers that may be present. Check for leaks. Place a bucket or sink
to catch the water during this flush around the end (5) with outlet indicated of the filtration manifold (J)
and make sure the water does not overflow from the bucket or sink.
□Turn off the cold water supply valve.
□Connect the end of the hose (I) with the quick connector to the tee connector (H). Push the quick connector
with the green tab on the hose (I) firmly upward and attach it to the receiving block with green on the tee
connector (H). Pull moderately to ensure the connection has been made. If it is necessary to remove the
quick connector, squeeze the tabs on the quick connector and then pull to disconnect.
NOTE: Incorrect application may result in failure or leaks.

□Install the filter set (K) onto the filtration manifold (J). After the thread of the filter set (K) is completely
screwed into the filtration manifold (J), it cannot be rotated manually.

9 Installing the filtration system
□Before installation, select the location for the filtration manifold (J). The screws should be placed a
minimum of 15 in. above the bottom of the floor where the filtration system is to be mounted. Any
distance lower may result in the filter set (K) interfering with the floor when removing the filters for
maintenance.
□Use the filtration manifold (J) as a template to mark the screw hole locations where the screws are to be
installed.
Installing into drywall: Drill two 1/4 in. holes and insert the anchors (M) and screws (L).
Installing into wood: Drill two 1/8 in. holes and insert the screws (L). Do not use anchors (M).
Install screws into the wall, leaving 3/16 in. to 3/8 in. clearance between the head of the screw and wall.

□Hang the filtration manifold (J) on screws (L) until the filtration manifold (J) is held firmly.
NOTE: The base of the control valve will flash red when its time to change filters and batteries. When it double flashes, 6 months have
passed and its time to replace the filters. When it flashes a single fading flash, 1 year has passed and it is time to replace the filters and
the timer batteries, then press reset button for 5 seconds to reset timer.

10 Installing the sensor cable
□Install the sensor cable (1) to the connection (2) of the timer (O). Ensure the holes (3) on the sensor cable (1)
and the pillars (4) on the timer (O) are aligned to one another to ensure proper installation. Ensure they are
tightly connected by firmly pushing together.
□If it is necessary to remove the timer (O), squeeze the tabs (5 & 6) on the sensor cable (1) and timer (O)
at the same time.
CAUTION: If the connections are made properly, the base of the control valve will flash red for 2 seconds and flash for 3 times, the
timer (O) will work. If the connections are not made properly, the timer (O) will not work.

11 Installing the batteries
□To open the timer (O), push out the cover (4).
□Install the two AA batteries (N) included by matching the positive (+) and Negative (-) ends on the
battery (N) to the (+) and (-) markings in the timer (O). The negative ends of the battery (N) should
always connect to the spring end of the battery slots in the timer (O).
□Reinstall the timer cover (4) by pushing into place.
NOTE: The base of the control valve will flash red when its time to change filters and batteries. When it double flashes, 6 months have
passed and its time to replace the filters. When it flashes a single fading flash, 1 year has passed and it is time to replace the filters and
the timer batteries, then press reset button for 5 seconds to reset timer.
NOTE: Use only AA Alkaline batteries. Identify the Anode (+) and the Cathode (-) to install the batteries properly.
To avoid battery damage: Do not recharge or disassemble batteries; Do not mix old batteries with new batteries; Do not use carbon
batteries; Do not expose batteries to extreme heat. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (ni-cad, ni-mh, etc)
batteries.

□Before installation, select the location for the timer (O).

Operation
1Flushing and checking for leaks
1a Unfiltered water model
□Pull the hose assembly out of the spout and
remove the spray head by unscrewing it from
the hose in a counterclockwise direction. Be
sure to hold the end of the hose down into the
sink and turn the faucet to the warm position
where it mixes hot and cold water.
□Flush the water lines for one minute. This
flushes away any debris that could cause
damage to internal parts. Check for leaks.
□Pulling the handle towards yourself will turn
the water to cold. Pushing the handle away
from yourself will turn the water to hot.
□Re-tighten any connections if necessary, but
do not overtighten. Reinstall the spray head
by hand tightening it back onto the spray
hose in a clockwise direction.
1b Filtered cold water model
□Make sure the the faucet is closed and do not
open the handle outward, as shown in the Fig 1.
□Flush the water lines for one minute. This
flushes away any debris that could cause
damage to internal parts. Check for leaks.
□Maintain the state of the Fig 1, pulling the handle
towards yourself will activate the filtered water,
as shown in the Fig 2.
□Maintain the state of the Fig 1, pushing the
handle away from yourself will turn off the
filtered water, as shown in the Fig 2.
IMPORTANT: After installation is completed, turn on the hot and cold water supplies. Check for leaks.

Care and Cleaning
□To clean, wipe down with a damp cloth and dry with a towel.
Troubleshooting
Problem Possible Cause Solution
There are leaks
underneath the handle.
The bonnet nut has come loose and the
o-ring on the cartridge is dirty or damaged.
□Tighten the bonnet nut. Clean
or replace the o-ring.
The aerator leaks or has
an inconsistent water
flow pattern.
The aerator is dirty or misfitted.
The cartridge may be clogged.
□Remove the aerator and check
for debris in the aerator screens.
□Remove the cartridge and check
for debris.
□Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or harsh chemicals when cleaning this faucet, or the warranty will
be voided.
NOTE: Refer to the service parts section in this manual for a detailed drawing showing the location of the parts listed below.
□Ensure the aerator is properly
installed.
There are leaks from the
hose underneath the deck.
The hose and discharge tube connection
may be loose.
□Tighten the connection between
the discharge tube and hose.
The hose does not retract. The weight is not installed in the
appropriate position.
□Reinstall or readjust the weight.
The water pressure is low. The connector underneath the deck is
clogged with debris.
The aerator is clogged.
□Turn off the water supply and
disconnect the connector
/ aerator.
□Unscrew the connector / aerator
and clean under running water.
□Screw the connector / aerator
back.
□Test water flow. If water
pressure is still low then replace
the connector / aerator.
There is no hot or cold
water.
The water inlet hose was accidentally
kinked during installation and is limiting
the water flow through.
□Reinstall the water inlet hose.

Water contains tiny black
particles.
New filter canisters contain activated carbon. □Turn on the filtered water faucet
and allow to run for 11 gallons
(or 10 minutes) to flush out any
harmless carbon fibers that may
be present.

Indicator light on the
control valve is flashing.
Six months usage has occurred. This is the
maximum life of the filter canisters.
□If double flash, replace filters.
□If single fading flash, replace
filters and batteries.

The filters have been installed for too long. □A six-month change-out period
is recommended. Replace both
filter canisters.
The filter canisters have become clogged. □High sediment levels can cause
premature clogging. Replace
both filter canisters.
Filter not installed fully. □Ensure filter is fully installed,
label should be centered and
facing forward.
Fittings are leaking. Tubing may not be installed properly. □Fully follow the installation

tubing is free of nicks, burrs,
