
Introduction
The new MY-501H Panic Button from GlobalSat has a front facing panic button with no other
buttons. The GlobalSat Panic Button is specifically designed for both indoor and outdoor
location tracking using both BLE and GPS technology. It is compact, light, and easy to use. The
device is also equipped with the rechargeable battery to provide basic power usage.
IoT Plug and Play certified device simplifies the process of building devices without custom
device code. Using Solution builders can integrate quickly using the certified IoT Plug and Play
enabled device based on Azure IoT Central as well as third-party solutions.
This getting started guide provides step by step instruction on getting the device online within
minutes and feeding data into Azure IoT Hub, Azure IoT Central, Azure Events Hub, Azure
Storage, Power BI or any other 3rd party platform
Additional Hardware & Software
Requirements
The MY-501H Panic Button has both an additional hardware and software dependency that are
required in order to connect to Azure:
•To use this device, it must be connected to a LoRaWAN gateway
•To use this device, you must also use the IoT in a Box service from MyDevices
