1. Remove mounting and battery housing plates.
2. Install Qty 4 Energizer ultimate lithium AA 1,5v batteries (or equivalent) lithium
batteries see Battery Specifications.
3. IMPORTANT: The antenna is mounted on the same side as battery housing and
MUSTface towards the sky.
4. Once the batteries have been installed the SmartOne can be mounted in its
operational location.
5. The SmartOne unit is shipped in the off position.

6. Remove connector cover plate.
7. Replace the connector cover plate in the on position to enable reporting functionality.
