Intended use
This charger is intended to charge hearing instruments.
Read and follow the instructions of this user guide to
avoid injuries or damage to the charger and the hearing
instrument.
Symbols:
Be aware of information marked with the warning sym-
bol WARNING, CAUTION or NOTICE!
WARNING points out a situation that could
lead to serious injuries,
CAUTION indicates a situation that could
lead to minor and moderate injuries.
NOTICE NOTICE indicates possible property
damage.
Advice and tips on how to handle your
charger better.

Important notes
This product does not have a power switch. It is tur-
ned on when the power cord is plugged in.
The charger is intended only for indoor use.
CAUTION
Risk of malfunction through incompatible parts.
Use only the power-supply and country-specific adapt-
er that is provided with the charger.
WARNING
Choking hazard posed by small parts.
Keep batteries and hearing instruments out of
children's reach.
If swallowed consult a physician or a hospital immedi-
ately.
Do not expose the charger to extreme temperatures
or high humidity.
Do not expose to direct sunlight.
WARNING
Risk of injuries caused by electric shock!
Do not touch the charging contacts in the charger.
If cleaning is required, disconnect the charger from the
power supply.

Notes for batteries
Use only rechargeable batteries that
are provided by your Hearing Care Pro-
fessional.
For information about battery size
check the user guide of your hearing
instruments.
Make sure the rechargeable batteries
are inserted correctly.
Charge the rechargeable battery be-
fore first use.
NOTICE
Batteries contain harmful substances that pollute the
environment.
Do not throw used batteries into household trash.
Return them to your Hearing Care Professional for en-
vironmentally correct disposal.

How to charge
Preparation
Connect the charger to a power
supply.
Charging
Press the front button to open
the charger.
The lid unlocks.
Place your hearing instruments
into the charging slots.
Close the lid of the charger.
The hearing instruments are
switched off automatically and
the charging process starts.
The green LED is blinking.
Charging is complete when the green LED stays on
continuously.
Remove the hearing instruments from the charger
when you next want to use them.
Check if the hearing instruments are turned on.

How to charge
If type and polarity of batteries are

to clean the contacts of the hearing
instruments and charger.
Ask your Hearing Care Professional
to check the functioning of the
rechargeable batteries and the
charger.
Consult your Hearing Care Professional if you encounter
further problems.

Useful tips for charging
Wear you hearing instruments a full day.
Charge the rechargeable batteries over night.
A charging cycle takes about 6 hours.
When a charging cycle is disrupted (e.g. by opening the lid
of the charger) a new charging cycle starts.
To maximize the lifetime of your rechargeable batteries:
Avoid to disrupt an ongoing charging cycle.
When the hearing instruments are fully charged and you
do not want to use them, leave them in the charger.
Avoid to recharge before at least 5 hours of use.
Remove the batteries if you intend not to use the hear-
ing aids for several days.
If you need to remove the hearing instruments before
the charging cycle is complete, the operation time can
be shorter than usual.

Maintenance and care
NOTICE
The charger will be damaged by dissolver.
Do not sterilise or disinfect the charger.
Dry function
Place a drying capsules into the
holder located inside the lid of the
charger.
Leave the lid of the charger closed
when possible to extend the lifetime
of the drying capsule.
Exchange the drying capsule when
its yellow content has turned
whitely.
CAUTION
Hazard of poisoning, when swallowing content of
drying capsule.
Keep drying capsule out of children's reach. If swallo-
wed consult a physician or hospital immediately.
Use a dry, soft tissue to clean the charger.
Ask your Hearing Care Professional if the charging con-
tacts need cleaning.
