WARNING: Always wear ear protection where the sound level exceeds 85dB(A) and limit the
time of exposure if necessary. If sound levels are uncomfortable, even with ear protection,
stop using the tool immediately and check the ear protection is correctly tted and provides
the correct level of sound attenuation for the level of sound produced by your tool.
WARNING: User exposure to tool vibration can result in loss of sense of touch, numbness,
tingling and reduced ability to grip. Long term exposure can lead to a chronic condition. If
necessary, limit the length of time exposed to vibration and use anti-vibration gloves. Do not
operate the tool with hands below a normal comfortable temperature, as vibration will have
a greater effect. Use the gures provided in the specication relating to vibration to calculate
the duration and frequency of operating the tool.
Sound and vibration levels in the specication are determined according to EN60745 or
similar international standards. The gures represent normal use for the tool in normal
working conditions. A poorly maintained, incorrectly assembled, or misused tool may produce
increased levels of noise and vibration. www.osha.europa.eu provides information on sound
and vibration levels in the workplace that may be useful to domestic users who use tools for
long periods of time.
General Safety
WARNING Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings
and instructions may result in electric shock, re and/or serious injury.
WARNING: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced, physical or mental capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
The term "power tool" in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or
battery-operated (cordless) power tool.
1) Work area safety
a) Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
b) Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of
ammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust
or fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can
cause you to lose control.
2) Electrical safety
a) Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not
use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodied plugs and
matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.
b) Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators,
ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is
earthed or grounded.
c) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will
increase the risk of electric shock.
d) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the
power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged
or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
e) When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor
use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
f) If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current
device (RCD) protected supply. Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
3) Personal safety
a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a
power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the inuence of
drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may
result in serious personal injury.
b) Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective
equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection
used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
c) Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before
connecting to power source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool.
Carrying power tools with your nger on the switch or energising power tools that have
the switch on invites accidents.
d) Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or
a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury.
e) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better
control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing
and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be
caught in moving parts.
g) If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection
facilities, ensure these are connected and properly used. Use of dust collection can
reduce dust-related hazards.
4) Power tool use and care
a) Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The
correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
b) Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool
that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
c) Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power
tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools.
Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
d) Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons
unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool.
Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
e) Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage
of parts and any other condition that may affect the power tool’s operation. If
damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by
poorly maintained power tools.
f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting
edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
g) Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these
instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be
performed. Use of the power tool for operations different from those intended could result
in a hazardous situation.
5) Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualied repair person using only identical
replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.
Circular Saw Safety
Cutting procedures
a) DANGER: Keep hands away from cutting area and the blade. Keep your
second hand on auxiliary handle, or motor housing. If both hands are holding the
saw, they cannot be cut by the blade.
b) Do not reach underneath the workpiece. The guard cannot protect you from the blade
below the workpiece.
c) Adjust the cutting depth to the thickness of the workpiece. Less than a full tooth of
the blade teeth should be visible below the workpiece.
d) Never hold piece being cut in your hands or across your leg. Secure the workpiece to
a stable platform. It is important to support the work properly to minimise body exposure,
blade binding, or loss of control.

e) Hold the power tool by insulated gripping surfaces only, when performing an
operation where the cutting tool may contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Contact
with a "live" wire will also make exposed metal parts of the power tool "live" and could
give the operator an electric shock.
f) When ripping, always use a rip fence or straight edge guide. This improves the
accuracy of cut and reduces the chance of blade binding.
g) Always use blades with correct size and shape (diamond versus round) of arbour
holes. Blades that do not match the mounting hardware of the saw will run eccentrically,
causing loss of control.
h) Never use damaged or incorrect blade washers or bolts. The blade washers and bolt
were specially designed for your saw, for optimum performance and safety of operation.
Further safety instructions for all saws
Kickback causes and related warnings
– kickback is a sudden reaction to a pinched, bound or misaligned saw blade, causing an
uncontrolled saw to lift up and out of the workpiece toward the operator;
– when the blade is pinched or bound tightly by the kerf closing down, the blade stalls and
the motor reaction drives the unit rapidly back toward the operator;
– if the blade becomes twisted or misaligned in the cut, the teeth at the back edge of the
blade can dig into the top surface of the wood causing the blade to climb out of the kerf
and jump back toward the operator.
Kickback is the result of saw misuse and/or incorrect operating procedures or
conditions and can be avoided by taking proper precautions as given below.
a) Maintain a rm grip with both hands on the saw and position your arms to resist
kickback forces. Position your body to either side of the blade, but not in line with
the blade. Kickback could cause the saw to jump backwards, but kickback forces can be
controlled by the operator if proper precautions are taken.
b) When blade is binding, or when interrupting a cut for any reason, release the
trigger and hold the saw motionless in the material until the blade comes to
a complete stop. Never attempt to remove the saw from the work or pull the saw
backward while the blade is in motion or kickback may occur. Investigate and take
corrective actions to eliminate the cause of blade binding.
c) When restarting a saw in the workpiece, centre the saw blade in the kerf and check
that saw teeth are not engaged into the material. If saw blade is binding, it may walk
up or kickback from the workpiece as the saw is restarted.
d) Support large panels to minimise the risk of blade pinching and kickback. Large
panels tend to sag under their own weight. Supports must be placed under the panel on
both sides, near the line of cut and near the edge of the panel.
e) Do not use dull or damaged blades. Unsharpened or improperly set blades produce
narrow kerf causing excessive friction, blade binding and kickback.
f) Blade depth and bevel adjusting locking levers must be tight and secure before
making cut. If blade adjustment shifts while cutting, it may cause binding and kickback.
g) Use extra caution when sawing into existing walls or other blind areas. The
protruding blade may cut objects that can cause kickback.
Lower guard function
a) Check lower guard for proper closing before each use. Do not operate the saw
if lower guard does not move freely and close instantly. Never clamp or tie the
lower guard into the open position. If saw is accidentally dropped, lower guard may
be bent. Raise the lower guard with the retracting handle and make sure it moves freely
and does not touch the blade or any other part, in all angles and depths of cut.
b) Check the operation of the lower guard spring. If the guard and the spring are
not operating properly, they must be serviced before use. Lower guard may operate
sluggishly due to damaged parts, gummy deposits, or a build-up of debris.
c) Lower guard may be retracted manually only for special cuts such as "plunge
cuts" and "compound cuts".Raise lower guard by retracting handle and as soon as
blade enters the material, the lower guard must be released. For all other sawing, the
lower guard should operate automatically.
d) Always observe that the lower guard is covering the blade before placing saw
down on bench or oor. An unprotected, coasting blade will cause the saw to walk
backwards, cutting whatever is in its path. Be aware of the time it takes for the blade to
stop after switch is released.
Additional circular saw safety
a) Do not allow anyone under the age of 18 years to operate this saw
b) When operating the saw, use safety equipment including safety goggles or shield, ear
protection, dust mask and protective clothing including safety gloves
c) Hand-held power tools may produce vibration. Vibration can cause disease. Gloves may
help to maintain blood circulation in the ngers. Hand-held tools should not be used for
long periods without a break
d) Whenever possible, use a vacuum dust extraction system to control dust/waste
e) Do not attempt to cut material thicker than detailed in the Specications section of this
manual
f) Adjust the cutting depth to the thickness of the workpiece i.e. less than a full tooth of the
blade should be visible below the workpiece
g) Ensure work is correctly supported. Large panels may sag under their own weight and
bind the saw blade. Supports must be placed under the panel on both sides, close to the
line of cut and near the edge of the panel
h) Ensure all supports and power cables are completely clear of the cutting path
i) Always secure the workpiece to a stable platform, ensuring body exposure is minimised,
avoiding blade binding, or loss of control
j) Always stand at an angle to the tool when operating
k) Be aware that the blade will project from the underside of the workpiece
l) Do not reach beneath the workpiece where the guard cannot protect you from the blade
m) Note the direction of rotation of the motor and the blade
n) Inspect the workpiece and remove all nails and other embedded objects prior to starting
work
o) Do not apply any sideways or twisting force to the blade whilst cutting
p) If a cut does not extend to the edge of the workpiece, or if the blade binds in the cut,
allow the blade to come to a complete stop and lift the saw out of the workpiece
q) Do not attempt to free a jammed blade before rst disconnecting the machine from power
r) Do not move the saw backwards at any time whilst cutting
s) Beware of projected waste. In some situations, waste material may be projected at speed
from the cutting tool. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure other people in the work area
are protected from the possibility of projected waste
t) If you are interrupted when operating the saw, complete the process and switch off before
diverting your attention
u) Check the lower guard for proper closure before each use. Do not operate the saw if the
lower guard does not move freely and close instantly. Never clamp or tie the lower guard
into the open position. If the saw is accidentally dropped, the lower guard may be bent.
Raise the lower guard with the retracting handle and make sure it moves freely and does
not touch the blade or any other part, in all angles and depths of cut
v) Always observe that the lower guard is covering the blade before resting the saw on a
surface after use. An unprotected, coasting blade will cause the saw to move backwards,
cutting whatever is in its path. Be aware of the time it takes for the blade to stop after the
trigger switch is released
w) Periodically check that all nuts, bolts and other xings have not become loose, and
tighten where necessary
The tool must be used only for its prescribed purpose. Any uses other than those
mentioned in this manual will be considered a case of misuse. The user, and not the
manufacturer, shall be liable for any damage or injury resulting from such cases of misuse.
The manufacturer shall not be liable for any modications made to the tool nor for any
damage resulting from such modications. Even when the tool is used as prescribed it is not
possible to eliminate all residual risk factors.

Battery Safety
WARNING: Li-Ion batteries, if incorrectly used, stored or charged are a re, burn and
explosion hazard.
• Keep the battery out of reach of children
• ONLY charge Li-Ion batteries using the charger provided or designed specically for your
product
• ONLY use Li-Ion batteries provided with a product or specically designed to be
compatible
• Allow batteries to cool for 15 minutes after charging or heavy use. Failure to follow these
instructions may cause overheating or re
• When not in use batteries should be stored at room temperature (approximately 20˚C)
• Ensure that battery contacts cannot accidentally short in storage. Keep batteries clean;
foreign objects or dirt may cause a short. Keep away from other metal objects, for
example, paperclips, coins, keys, nails and screws
• Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery. This liquid may cause
skin irritation or burns. Avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, ush with water. If
liquid contacts eyes, seek medical help
• DO NOT open, disassemble, crush, heat above 60°C or incinerate. Do not dispose of in
re or similar
Battery Charger Safety
Use the battery charger correctly
• Refer to the section of this manual relating to use of the battery charger before attempting
to charge the battery.
• Do not attempt to use the charger with any batteries other than those supplied. Keep your
battery charger clean; foreign objects or dirt may cause a short or block air vents. Failure
to follow these instructions may cause overheating or re
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard
• Examine the battery charger regularly for damage, especially the cord, plug and enclosure.
If the battery charger is damaged, it must not be used until it has been repaired
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance
WARNING: DO NOT attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
Battery and charger safety features
The battery and charger are tted with a number of safety features which may be triggered
during charging or operation:
• Over-charge protection: Charger automatically switches off when the battery has reached
full charge capacity, protecting the internal components of the battery
• Over-discharge protection: Prevents the battery from discharging beyond the
recommended lowest safety voltage
• Over-heat protection: Sensor switches off if the battery becomes too hot during operation.
This can happen if the tool is overloaded or being used for extended periods of time. Up to
30 minutes cooling time may be required depending on the ambient temperature
• Overload protection: Battery temporarily stops if it is overloaded or the maximum current
draw is exceeded, protecting the internal components. The battery will resume normal
operation when the current draw returns to a normal safe level. This may take a few
seconds
• Short circuit protection: The battery will stop working immediately if a short circuit occurs,
this prevents damage to the battery or tool

Intended Use
Hand-held battery-powered electric circular saw for cross, rip and bevel cutting of hard and
softwood timber and sheet material. Suitable for creating pocket/plunge cuts when used
carefully by a skilled operator.
Unpacking Your Tool
Carefully unpack and inspect your tool. Familiarise yourself with all its features and functions.
Ensure that all parts of the tool are present and in good condition. If any parts are missing or
damaged, have such parts replaced before attempting to use this tool.

Before Use
Dust extraction
• For a cleaner, safer work environment, and to protect the tool from dust and over-heating,
connect a dust extraction system or workshop vacuum cleaner to the Dust Extraction Port
(9) and ensure the Motor Vents (27) are kept free of wood chippings and dust. Regularly
clean the area of the tool with a vacuum when a dust extraction system cannot be tted
or used
Notes:
• The supplied blade is pre-tted; make sure the Blade Securing Bolt (13) is securely
tightened before rst use
Removing a battery
• Remove the Battery (6) from the tool by pressing the Battery Release (5), then slide the
Battery out of the Battery Slot (7)
WARNING: DO NOT try to remove the Battery without pressing the Battery Release button.
The tool or Battery could be damaged.
Fitting a battery
1. Fit a battery by sliding it on to the Battery Slot (7) of the tool until it clicks and locks into
position
Note: Make sure the Battery and tool are lined up correctly. If the Battery does not slide into
the tool easily, do not force it. Instead, slide the Battery out of the tool again, check the top of
Battery and the tool battery slot are clean and undamaged and that the contacts are not bent.
Setting up the battery charger
1. If tted, remove any Battery from the Battery Charger (30)
2. Insert the Battery Charger mains plug into a suitable mains socket
Note: The Green LED (31) on the Battery Charger will ash to indicate that the charger is
ready to charge the battery.
WARNING: Use this charger ONLY to charge the supplied battery or additional purchased
batteries that are specically designed for this tool.
WARNING: The charger is designed for indoor use only, and MUST NOT be used in damp
or wet conditions.
Charging the battery
WARNING: Failure to follow the correct procedure when charging batteries will result in
permanent damage.
Note: Normal charging time is approximately 80 minutes for a recently discharged 4.0Ah
capacity battery. However, if the Battery (6) has been left in a discharged state for some time,
it may take additional time to charge.
1. Slide a fully or partially discharged Battery on to the Battery Charger (30)
Note: Make sure the Battery and Battery Charger are lined up correctly. If the Battery does
not slide on to the Battery Charger easily, don’t force it. Instead, remove the Battery, check
the top of Battery and the Battery Charger slot are clean and undamaged and that the
contacts are not bent.
2. Once charging commences, the Red LED (29) will illuminate
3. When the Battery is fully charged, the Green LED (31) will illuminate
Battery Charge Level: The Battery has a built-in Battery Charge Indicator (10) (Fig. I).
Pressing on the button to the right will indicate the charge level. The right LED indicates a
high charge level and the left a low charge level that will mean the battery pack will require
charging soon.
IMPORTANT: When a low charge level is indicated, the tool may stop operating while in use,
which is dangerous when operating a circular saw. Always ensure the battery pack has a
good charge level.
Note: It is highly recommended to only use 3.0Ah and 4.0Ah batteries with this tool due to
the high current motor and safety issues with the battery fully discharging in use stopping the
tool operating.
Notes about battery charging:
• The battery should be charged at ambient temperatures between 10 and 40°C (ideally
around 20°C)
• After charging, allow 15 minutes for the battery to cool before use
• Ensure that the charger is disconnected from the mains supply after use, and is stored
correctly
• DO NOT leave batteries on charge for extended periods and NEVER store batteries on
charge
• The Battery Charger monitors battery temperature and voltage while charging. Remove
the Battery once charging is complete to maximise charge cycles of the battery and not
waste power
• Batteries can become faulty over time, individual cells in the battery can fail and the
battery could short. The charger will not charge faulty batteries. Use another battery, if
possible, to check correct functionality of the charger and purchase a replacement battery
if a faulty battery is indicated
• DO NOT store lithium-ion battery packs in a discharged state over a long period as this
can damage the lithium-ion cells. For long-term storage, store batteries in a high charge
state disconnected from the power tool
• The capacity of batteries will reduce over time. After 100 charge cycles, the battery’s
operation time and the maximum torque performance of the driver will slightly reduce. This
decline will continue until the battery has minimal capacity after 500 charge cycles. This is
normal and not a fault with the battery pack
Fitting and removing blades
WARNING: Remove battery pack if tted.
WARNING: Wear cut-proof gloves when handling sharp blades.
• Always check the blade being tted is suitable for the material being cut
• Only t blades that are in perfect condition. Blunt, bent, and cracked blades should be
discarded
1. Press in the Spindle Lock Button (28) and carefully rotate the blade by pushing on the side
face of the saw blade until the spindle lock engages. Unscrew the Blade Securing Bolt (13)
anti-clockwise using the supplied hex key
2. Remove the Blade Securing Bolt, washer (if tted) and Blade Flange (15).
3. Use the Lower Guard Lever (12) to rotate the Lower Guard out of the way
4. Fit the required blade, making sure the direction indicator on the face of the blade is in the
same direction as the Direction Indicator (26)
5. Re-t the Blade Flange, washer and Blade Securing Bolt. Press in the Spindle Lock Button
and tighten using the hex key
6. Ensure the blade is secure before use
Setting bevel angle
• This saw is equipped with a tilting Base Plate (14). This allows bevel cuts to be made
• Alter the angle of the Base Plate by loosening the Bevel Angle Locking Knob (22). The
Base Plate will now be free to pivot
• Select the angle required (0-45°) using the Bevel Angle Gauge (25) and retighten the
Bevel Angle Locking Knob
• Ensure accuracy by checking the angle between the Blade (11) and the Base Plate using
a suitable protractor
Setting depth adjustment
• This saw is equipped with a depth adjustment mechanism
• Alter the depth of the cut by loosening the Depth Locking Knob (23). The Base Plate (14)
is now free to adjust to the required depth
• Adjust the Base Plate to the required depth using the Depth Scale (24) or a ruler and
retighten the Depth Locking Knob
• When set correctly, the blade teeth should project approximately 3mm from the underside
of the material being cut

Operation
• Before using the saw, practise on scrap material. The settings of the machine are crucial
to achieving a good quality nish, and your work could easily be damaged by using an
incorrect setting
Handling your circular saw
• Always hold the saw securely, with both hands, by the handles provided
• Always allow the blade to come to a complete stop before placing the machine down
• Always make sure that work will not move whilst being cut. Use clamps where appropriate
Making a cut
1. Hold the saw securely and rest the front edge of the Base Plate (14) on the edge of the
workpiece
2. Check the blade is not in contact with the workpiece or any other object
3. Start the machine by pressing in the Lock Off Button (2) and squeezing the On/Off Trigger
(3)
Note: The saw is tted with two Lock Off Buttons - one on each side of the saw - to allow left
or right-handed operation.
4. Allow the motor to reach full speed and push the saw forwards smoothly across the
workpiece
5. Maintain a steady movement and ensure the Base Plate is kept pressed against the
workpiece
NOTE: The front edge of the Base Plate features an indentation. For normal 0° cutting, align
the left side, 0° Line (18) with the line to be cut, for 45˚ bevel cutting align the right side, 45°
Line (19) with the line to be cut.
6. Allow the blade to pass through the material and release the On/Off Trigger. Alternatively, if
the cut does not reach the edge of the workpiece, release the On/Off Trigger and allow the
blade to stop moving before lifting out of the cut
7. Do not place the machine down until the blade has stopped completely

Maintenance

General inspection
• Regularly check that all the xing screws are tight. They may vibrate loose over time
• Repairs should be carried out by an authorised GMC service centre.
Lubrication
• Lubricate all moving parts with a suitable lubricant spray, at regular intervals
Cleaning
WARNING: ALWAYS wear protective equipment including eye protection and gloves when
cleaning this tool.
• Keep your tool clean at all times. Dirt and dust will cause internal parts to wear quickly, and
shorten the device’s service life
• Regularly vacuum exposed vents on the tool to prevent the build up of dust and chippings
within the tool housing
• Clean the body of your machine with a soft brush, or dry cloth
• Never use caustic agents to clean plastic parts. If dry cleaning is not sufcient, a mild
detergent on a damp cloth is recommended

WAARSCHUWING: Bij een geluidsintensiteit van 85 dB(A) of hoger is het dragen van
gehoorbescherming en het limiteren van de blootstellingstijd vereist. Bij oncomfortabel
hoge geluidsniveaus, zelfs met het dragen van gehoorbescherming, stopt u het gebruik
van de machine onmiddellijk. Controleer de pasvorm en het geluiddempingsniveau van de
bescherming.
WAARSCHUWING: Blootstelling aan trilling resulteert mogelijk in gevoelloosheid, tinteling en
een vermindert gripvermogen. Langdurige blootstelling kan leiden tot chronische condities.
Limiteer de blootstellingsduur en draag anti-vibratie handschoenen. Vibratie heeft een grotere
invloed op handen met een temperatuur lager dan een normale, comfortabele temperatuur.
Maak gebruik van de informatie in de specicaties voor het bereken van de gebruiksduur en
frequentie van de machine.
Geluid- en trillingsniveaus in de specicatie zijn vastgesteld volgens EN60745 of een

Algemene veiligheid voor elektrisch gereedschap
WAARSCHUWING Lees alle bediening- en veiligheidsvoorschriften. Het niet opvolgen
van alle voorschriften die hieronder vermeld staan, kan resulteren in een elektrische schok,
brand en/of ernstig letsel.
WAARSCHUWING: De machine is niet geschikt voor gebruik door personen met een
verminderde mentale of fysieke gesteldheid of een gebrek aan ervaring, tenzij de
persoon wordt begeleid of geïnstrueerd door een persoon verantwoordelijk voor de
veiligheid
Bewaar deze voorschriften voor toekomstig gebruik.
De term “elektrisch gereedschap” in alle hieronder vermelde waarschuwingen heeft
betrekking op uw elektrische gereedschap dat op de stroom is aangesloten (met een snoer)
of met een accu wordt gevoed (snoerloos).
Kinderen mogen niet met de machine spelen
1) Veiligheid in de werkruimte
a) Houd de werkruimte schoon en zorg voor een goede verlichting. Rommelige en
donkere ruimtes leiden vaak tot ongelukken.
b) Werk niet met elektrisch gereedschap in explosieve omgevingen, bijvoorbeeld in
de aanwezigheid van ontvlambare vloeistoffen, gassen of stof. Elektrisch
gereedschap brengt vonken teweeg die stof of dampen kunnen doen ontbranden.
c) Houd kinderen en omstanders uit de buurt wanneer u elektrisch gereedschap
bedient. Door aeiding kunt u de controle over het gereedschap verliezen.
2) Elektrische veiligheid
a) De stekkers van het elektrische gereedschap moeten passen bij het stopcontact.
Pas de stekker niet aan. Gebruik geen adapterstekkers bij geaard elektrisch
gereedschap. Het gebruik van ongewijzigde stekkers en passende stopcontacten
vermindert het risico op een elektrische schok.
b) Vermijd lichamelijk contact met geaarde oppervlakken zoals pijpen, radiatoren,
fornuizen en koelkasten. Het risico op een elektrische schok neemt toe als uw lichaam
geaard wordt.
c) Laat elektrisch gereedschap niet nat worden. Wanneer elektrisch gereedschap nat
wordt, neemt het risico op een elektrische schok toe.
d) Beschadig het snoer niet. Gebruik het snoer nooit om het elektrisch gereedschap
te dragen, te trekken of om de stekker uit het stopcontact te trekken. Houd het
snoer uit de buurt van hitte, olie, scherpe randen of bewegende delen. Een
beschadigde of in de knoop geraakte snoer verhoogt het risico op een elektrische schok
toe.
e) Wanneer u elektrisch gereedschap buiten gebruikt, maak dan gebruik van een
verlengsnoer dat geschikt is voor gebruik buitenshuis. Gebruik een verlengsnoer
dat geschikt is voor gebruik buitenshuis om het risico op een elektrische schok te
verminderen.
f) Indien het onvermijdelijk is elektrisch gereedschap te gebruiken in een vochtige
omgeving, gebruik dan een energiebron met een aardlekschakelaar (Residual
Currency Device). Het gebruik van een RCD vermindert het risico op een elektrische
schok.
3) Persoonlijke veiligheid
a) Blijf alert en gebruik uw gezonde verstand wanneer u elektrisch gereedschap
bedient. Gebruik het elektrisch gereedschap niet wanneer u vermoeid bent of
onder invloed bent van drugs, alcohol of medicijnen. Onoplettendheid tijdens het
bedienen van elektrisch gereedschap kan leiden tot ernstig letsel.
b) Maak gebruik van persoonlijke bescherming. Draag altijd een veiligheidsbril.
Passende bescherming voor de omstandigheden, zoals een stofmasker, niet-slippende
veiligheidsschoenen een helm of gehoorbescherming, vermindert het risico op persoonlijk
letsel.
c) Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat niet per ongeluk wordt gestart. Controleer of de
schakelaar in de ‘uit’ stand staat voordat u de stekker in het stopcontact steekt.
Het dragen van elektrisch gereedschap met uw vinger op de schakelaar of het aansluiten
op de stroom van elektrisch gereedschap met de schakelaar ingeschakeld kan tot
ongelukken leiden.
d) Verwijder alle stel- of moersleutels voordat u het elektrische gereedschap
inschakelt. Een moer- of stelsleutel die zich op een draaiend onderdeel van het
elektrische gereedschap bevindt, kan leiden tot letsel.
e) Reik niet te ver. Blijf altijd stevig en in balans staan. Zo houdt u meer controle over
het elektrische gereedschap in onverwachte situaties.
f) Draag geschikte kleding. Draag geen loshangende kleding of sieraden. Houd
haren, kleding en handschoenen uit de buurt van bewegende delen. Loshangende
kleding, sieraden en los hangende haren kunnen vast komen te zitten in bewegende
delen.
g) Als er onderdelen voor stofafvoer- en stofverzameling worden meegeleverd, sluit
deze dan aan en gebruik deze op de juiste wijze. Het gebruik van deze onderdelen
kan het risico op stof gerelateerde ongelukken verminderen.
4) Gebruik en verzorging van elektrisch gereedschap
a) Forceer elektrisch gereedschap niet. Gebruik elektrisch gereedschap dat geschikt
is voor het werk dat u wilt uitvoeren. Geschikt elektrisch gereedschap werkt beter en
veiliger op een passende snelheid.
b) Gebruik het elektrische gereedschap niet als de schakelaar van het apparaat niet
in- en uitschakelt. Elektrisch gereedschap dat niet bediend kan worden met de
schakelaar is gevaarlijk en moet gerepareerd worden.
c) Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u instellingen aanpast, toebehoren
verwisselt of het elektrische gereedschap opbergt. Dergelijke voorzorgsmaatregelen
verminderen het risico op het per ongeluk starten van het elektrische gereedschap.
d) Berg elektrisch gereedschap dat niet in gebruik is op buiten bereik van kinderen
en laat mensen die niet bekend zijn met het elektrische gereedschap of met
deze instructies het elektrische gereedschap niet bedienen. Elektrisch gereedschap
is gevaarlijk in de handen van onervaren gebruikers.
e) Onderhoud uw elektrisch gereedschap. Controleer op foutieve uitlijning of het
vastslaan van bewegende delen, gebroken onderdelen en elke andere afwijking
die de werking van het elektrische gereedschap zou kunnen beïnvloeden. Indien
het elektrische gereedschap beschadigd is, moet u het laten repareren voordat u
het weer gebruikt. Veel ongelukken worden veroorzaakt door slecht onderhouden
elektrisch gereedschap.
f) Houd snijwerktuigen scherp en schoon. Goed onderhouden snijwerktuigen met
scherpe messen slaan minder snel vast en zijn gemakkelijker te bedienen.
g) Gebruik het elektrische gereedschap, de accessoires en onderdelen, etc.
volgens deze instructies en volgens bestemming voor het specieke type
elektrisch gereedschap, en houd daarbij rekening met de werkomstandigheden
en het uit te voeren werk. Gebruik van elektrisch gereedschap voor werkzaamheden

5) Accu machine gebruik en onderhoud
a) Laad de accu enkel met de door de fabrikant gespeciceerde accu op. Het gebruik
van een accu, geschikt voor één accusoort, voor een andere accusoort resulteert
mogelijk in brand
b) Gebruik accu machines enkel met speciek bedoelde accu’s. Het gebruik van andere
accu’s resulteert mogelijk in persoonlijk letsel en brand
c) Wanneer een accu niet gebruik is, houdt u deze uit de buurt van metalen
voorwerpen als paperclips, munten, spijkers, schroeven, etc. Het kortsluiten van een
accu resulteert mogelijk in brand
Wanneer accuvloeistoffen in uw ogen terecht komt, zoekt u onmiddellijk medische
hulp. Accuvloeistoffen veroorzaken mogelijk irritatie en brandend gevoel
d) Misbruik van de accu resulteert mogelijk in vloeistof uitstoot. Voorkom contact.
Spoel, wanneer contact plaatsgevonden heeft, onmiddellijk met water. Wanneer de
vloeistof in uw ogen terecht komt zoekt u onmiddellijk medische hulp.
Accuvloeistoffen veroorzaken mogelijk irritatie en brandend gevoel
6) Onderhoud
a) Laat uw elektrische gereedschap onderhouden door een gekwaliceerde vakman
en gebruik alleen identieke vervangstukken. Zo bent u er zeker van dat de veiligheid
van het elektrische gereedschap gewaarborgd blijft.
Cirkelzaag veiligheid
Zaagprocedures
a) WAARSCHUWING: Zorg dat uw handen uit de buurt van het zaagblad blijven. Houd
één hand op het hulphandvat, en houd de andere hand op de motorkast. Wanneer beide
handen op het gereedschap geplaatst zijn, kunnen ze niet beschadigd raken door het
zaagblad
b) Reik niet onder het werkstuk waar uw handen niet beschermd zijn tegen het
zaagblad
c) Pas de zaagdiepte, aan de breedte van het werkstuk aan. Minder dan een volledige
tandhoogte dient onder het werkstuk uit te komen
d) Houd het werkstuk tijdens het zagen nooit met de hand vast of steunend op uw
benen. Bevestig het werkstuk op een werkbank. Ondersteun het werkstuk juist om de
kans op persoonlijk letsel, bladbuiging en controleverlies te minimaliseren
e) Machines dienen tijdens gebruik bij de geïsoleerde handvaten vast gehouden te
worden. Zo bent u beschermd wanneer het blad in contact komt met het snoer van
de zaag of andere bedrading. Komt het blad in contact met draad wat onder spanning
staat, dan komen metalen onderdelen van de zaag onder spanning te staan, wat de
gebruiker van de zaag een schok kan geven wanneer de handvaten niet gebruikt worden
f) Maak bij schulpen te allen tijde gebruik van een schulpgeleider. Dit maximaliseert de
nauwkeurigheid van de snede en minimaliseert de kans op bladbuiging
g) Gebruik te allen tijde aanbevolen zaagbladen van de juiste grootte en vorm. Bladen
die niet passen bij het montage hardware van de zaag lopen excentrisch wat leid tot
controleverlies
h) De blad bout en de sluitringen zijn speciaal ontworpen voor uw zaag. Voor een
optimale prestatie en een optimale veiligheid, gebruikt u geen beschadigde of onjuiste
sluitringen
Bijkomende veiligheid voor alle zaagmachines
Terugslag
- Terugslag is een plotselinge reactie op een vastlopend, geforceerd of een foute uitlijning
van het zaagblad, waardoor de zaag uit het materiaal omhoog, naar de gebruiker wordt
geschoten.
- Wanneer het zaagblad plots klem komt te zitten in het werkstuk, schiet de machine in de
richting van de gebruiker dankzij de kracht van de motor
- Wanneer het zaagblad gedraaid of fout uitgelijnd in het werkstuk komt te zitten, graven de
tanden aan de achterzijde van blad in het werkstukoppervlak waardoor het zaagblad
mogelijk uit het werkstuk gedrukt wordt
Terugslag is het gevolg van misbruik en/of onjuiste gebruiksprocedures of –
omstandigheden, en kan voorkomen worden door het volgen van de volgende
voorzorgsmaatregelen:
a) Houd de zaag met beide handen stevig vast en positioneer uw armen
zo, dat terugslag tegengewerkt kan worden. Positioneer uw lichaam links een zijkant
van de zaag en niet in lijn met het zaagblad. Door het nemen van de juiste
voorzorgsmaatregelen kunnen terugslagkrachten door de gebruiker onder controle
gehouden worden
b) Wanneer het blad stroef in het materiaal draait of wanneer u tijdens het zagen
onderbroken wordt laat u de trekker schakelaar los en houd u de zaag stil in het
materiaal tot het blad volledig stil staat. Probeer de zaag nooit uit het materiaal te
halen of naar achteren te trekken wanneer het zaagblad roteert
c) Wanneer de zaag in een onafgemaakte snede herstart wordt, zorgt u ervoor dat de
zaag recht in de snede ligt en dat de tanden niet in het materiaal grijpen (een
vastzittend blad kan bij het her starten van de machine omhoog geschoten worden)
d) Een groot werkstuk hoort dicht bij de snede en dicht bij de rand ondersteund te
worden om inzakking te voorkomen en de kans op terugslag te minimaliseren
e) Gebruik geen beschadigde of botte bladen. Deze bladen produceren een smalle nerf
wat resulteert in overmatige wrijving, het buigen van zaagbladen en terugslag
f) Voor het maken van sneden horen alle verstel vergrendelingshendels goed vast
gezet te worden. Het bewegen van bladverstellingen kan leiden tot het buigen van
bladen en terugslag
g) Ben uitermate voorzichtig bij het zagen in muren en andere verborgen gebieden.
Het zaagblad raakt mogelijk verborgen voorwerpen wat kan leiden tot terugslag
Onderste beschermkap functie
a) Controleer voor elk gebruik of de onderste beschermkap juist functioneert.
Gebruik de machine niet wanneer de beschermkap niet juist functioneert.
Vergrendel de beschermkap niet in de open of gesloten positie. Wanneer u de
zaag laat vallen buigt de beschermkap mogelijk. Controleer de vrije beweging van de
beschermkap met behulp van de hendel
b) Controleer de werking van de beschermkapveer. Wanneer de veer niet juist
functioneert dient deze, samen met de beschermkap gerepareerd worden voordat
u de machine gebruikt. De beschermkap sluit en opent mogelijk langzaam dankzij
beschadigde onderdelen of een stofopbouw
c) De beschermkap mag enkel met de handgesloten worden bij het uitvoeren van
speciale zaagsneden als een vrije inval zaagsnede. Verhoog de beschermkap met de
hendel en zodra het zaagblad in het werkstuk zaagt, laat u de beschermkaphendel los
d) Controleer of het zaagblad volledig door de beschermkap bedekt wordt voordat
u de machine neerlegt. Wanneer het zaagblad roteert en niet volledig bedekt is, kan de
machine in de richting van de gebruiker of omstanders gevuurd worden wat kan
resulteren in ernstige ongelukken
Cirkelzaag veiligheid
a) Laat niemand, jonger dan 18 jaar oud, de zaag gebruiken
b) Wanneer u de zaagt gebruikt, hoort u te allen tijde bescherming te dragen. Denk
hierbij aan een veiligheidsbril, gehoorbeschermers, mondkapje, beschermende kleding
en handschoenen
c) Elektrisch handgereedschap kan trillingen veroorzaken. Trillingen kunnen ziektes
veroorzaken. Handschoenen die de handen van de bediener warmhouden kunnen een
goede circulatie van het bloed in de vingers bevorderen. Gebruik handgereedschap niet
langdurig zonder onderbreking
d) Gebruik wanneer mogelijk een stof ontginningssysteem om het zaagsel/afval op te
vangen

e) Zaag geen materiaal, dikker dan beschreven in de specicaties van deze handleiding
f) Pas de zaagdiepte, aan de breedte van het werkstuk aan. Minder dan een volledige
tandhoogte dient onder het werkstuk uit te komen
g) Zorg dat het werkstuk stevig gemonteerd is, en niet te ver uitsteekt over de werkbank om
buiging van het zaagblad en controleverlies te voorkomen
h) Zorg ervoor dat steunen en stroomsnoeren uit de zaag lijn verwijdert zijn
i) Zet het werkstuk met een minimale blootstelling op een stabiel platform vast, om het
buigen van het zaagblad en controleverlies te voorkomen
j) Wanneer u aan het zagen bent, staat u aan de zijkant van het werkstuk
k) Het zaagblad steekt onder de tafel uit
l) Reik niet onder het werkstuk waar uw handen niet beschermd zijn tegen het zaagblad
m) Let op de draairichting van de motor en het zaagblad
n) Inspecteer het werkstuk en verwijder alle voorwerpen in de buurt van de zaag voordat u
begint met zagen
o) Oefen tijdens het zagen geen zijwaartse of draaiende druk op het zaagblad uit
p) Wanneer het zaagblad niet tot de volledige breedte van het werkstuk reikt, of wanneer
het zaagblad in het werkstuk klemt, laat u de zaag volledig tot stilstand komen voordat u
de zaag uit het werkstuk tilt
q) Wanneer het zaagblad vast geklemd zit in het werkstuk hoort u de machine uit te
schakelen voordat u het blad los probeert te krijgen
r) Beweeg de zaag niet naar achter tijdens het zagen van een werkstuk
s) Kijk uit voor rondvliegend zaagafval. Het is de gebruikers verantwoordelijkheid
omstanders te beschermen tegen rondvliegend zaagafval
t) Wanneer u onderbroken wordt tijdens het zagen, maak de snede dan eerst af en schakel
de machine uit voordat u opkijkt
u) Controleer voor elk gebruik of de onderste beschermkap juist functioneert. Gebruik
de machine niet wanneer de beschermkap vrij beweegt en volledig sluit. Vergrendel
de beschermkap nooit in de open positie. Wanneer de zaag per ongeluk valt raakt de
beschermkap mogelijk beschadigd. Zorg ervoor dat de beschermkap in elke hoek en op
elke zaagdiepte vrij beweegt en het zaagblad of enig ander deel van de machine niet
raakt
v) Controleer of het zaagblad volledig bedekt wordt door de beschermkap voordat u
de machine neerlegt. Een onbeschermd zaagblad beweegt de machine achterwaarts
en zaagt alles wat in de weg staat. Het zaagblad staat niet meteen stil wanneer u de
trekker schakelaar loslaat
w) Controleer regelmatig of alle bouten, moeren en andere bevestigingen goed vastgedraaid
zijn
De zaagmachine mag alleen gebruikt worden voor het voorgeschreven doel. Elk ander
doel dan vermeld staat in deze handleiding wordt beschouwd als misbruik. De gebruiker en
niet de fabrikant is vervolgens aansprakelijk voor eventuele schade of eventueel letsel ten
gevolge van dergelijke gevallen van misbruik.
De fabrikant is niet verantwoordelijk voor eventuele wijzigingen die gedaan worden aan het
gereedschap, noch voor eventuele schade die het resultaat is van dergelijke wijzigingen.
Zelfs wanneer de machine als voorgeschreven gebruikt wordt zijn alle riscifactoren nooit
volledig uit te sluiten
Accu veiligheid
WAARSCHUWING: Li-ion batterijen, wanneer onjuist gebruikt, opgeborgen of
opgeladen, zijn een brand- en explosiegevaar
• Houdt de accu uit de buurt van kinderen
• Laad Li-ion accu’s enkel op met de oplader, inbegrepen bij het product of speciaal
ontworpen voor uw product
• Gebruik enkel Li-ion accu’s inbegrepen bij uw product of speciaal ontworpen voor
compatibiliteit
• Laat accu’s na het opladen of na zwaar gebruik 15 minuten afkoelen om oververhitting en
brand te voorkomen
• Wanneer niet in gebruik dienen accu’s op kamertemperatuur (ongeveer 20°C) opgeborgen
te worden
• Zorg ervoor dat de accu, wanneer opgeborgen, geen kortsluiting kan veroorzaken. Houdt
accu’s schoon; vreemde voorwerpen kunnen kortsluiting veroorzaken. Houdt accu’s uit de
buurt van metalen voorwerpen als paperclips, muntjes, sleutels, etc.
• Bij verkeerd gebruik kan vloeistof uit de accu lekken. De vloeistof veroorzaakt mogelijk
huidirritatie brandwonden. Wanneer de vloeistof in contact komt met de huid spoelt u
uw huid onmiddellijk met water. Wanneer de vloeistof in de ogen terecht komt zoekt u
onmiddellijk medische hulp
• Open, demonteer, breek, verwarm (boven 60°C) en verbrand accu’s niet. Gooi accu’s niet
in het vuur
Acculader veiligheid
Juist gebruik van de oplader
• Raadpleeg het deel in deze handleiding wat betrekking heeft op het gebruik van de
oplader, voor het opladen van de accu.
• Gebruik de oplader niet in combinatie met een accu, anders dan die verstrekt bij de
machine. Houd de oplader schoon; stof en/of vuil kan leiden tot kortsluiting en een
geblokkeerde ventilatie wat kan resulteren in oververhitting en/of brand
• Wanneer het stroomsnoer beschadigt is, laat u deze door de fabrikant vervangen om
gevaren te voorkomen
• Controleer de oplader regelmatig op schade, vooral het stroomsnoer en de stekker.
Gebruik een beschadigde oplader niet totdat deze gerepareerd is
• Kinderen mogen niet met de oplader spelen
Waarschuwing: Herlaad geen niet-oplaadbare accu’s
Accu en oplader veiligheidskenmerken
De accu en de oplader zijn voorzien van een aantal veiligheidskenmerken welke tijdens
opladen of gebruik getriggerd kunnen worden
• Overlading bescherming: De oplader schakelt automatisch uit wanneer de accu volledig is
opgeladen om zo de interne delen van de accu te beschermen tegen beschadigen
• Ontlading bescherming: Beschermt de accu tegen ontlading verder dan het aangeraden
laagste spanningspunt
• Oververhittingsbescherming: Een ingebouwde sensor schakelt de machine uit wanneer
de accu te heet wordt. Dit kan gebeuren wanneer de belasting te groot is en wanneer de
machine voor langere periode gebruikt wordt. Afhankelijk van de temperatuur heeft de
accu mogelijk een koelperiode van 30 minuten nodig.
• Overbelasting bescherming: De accu stopt tijdelijk wanneer deze wordt overbelast of
wanneer de maximale spanning wordt overschreden om zo de interne onderdelen te
beschermen tegen beschadiging. De accu zal de werking hervatten wanneer de spanning
terug op een veilig niveau komt. Dit duurt mogelijk een aantal seconden.
• Kortsluiting bescherming: De accu stopt onmiddellijk wanneer kortsluiting plaats vindt. Dit
voorkomt beschadiging aan de accu en de machine.

Gebruiksdoel
Accu cirkelzaag, voor het maken van afkorten, afschuinen en verstek sneden in harde en
zachte houtsoorten en plaatmetaal. Geschikt voor het maken van inval zaagsneden wanneer
gebruikt door vakkundige personen
Het uitpakken van uw gereedschap
• Pak uw toestel / gereedschap uit. Inspecteer het en zorg dat u met alle kenmerken en
functies vertrouwd raakt
• Controleer of alle onderdelen aanwezig zijn en in goede staat verkeren. Als er onderdelen
ontbreken of beschadigd zijn, zorg dan dat deze vervangen worden voor u dit toestel /
gereedschap gebruikt
Voor gebruik
Stofontginning
• Voor een schonere en veiligere werkomgeving en om de machine te beschermen tegen
stof en oververhitting, houdt u de stofpoort (9) en motor ventilatiegaten (27) vrij van
houtspaanders en stof. Verwijder spaanders en zaagsel regelmatig met een stofzuiger,
waar de machine niet aangesloten kan worden op een stof ontginningssysteem
Let op: De machine wordt geleverd met het zaagblad bevestigd. Zorg ervoor dat de bladbout
(13) goed vast zit voordat de machine gebruikt
Het verwijderen van de accu
• Ontkoppel de accu (6) van de machine door het indrukken van de accu verlosschakel (5).
Schuif de accu uit de accugleuf (7)
WAARSCHUWING: Probeer de accu niet te verwijderen zonder het indrukken van de
verlosschakel. De accu en of machine raken mogelijk beschadigd
Het aansluiten van een accu
1. Schuif een accu in de accugleuf (7) van de machine tot de accu vastklikt en in positie
vergrendelt
Let op: Zorg ervoor dat de accu en de machine juist zijn uitgelijnd. Forceer de accu niet op
de machine. Schuif de accu van de machine, controleer de aansluitingspunten op vuil en
beschadiging en zorg ervoor dat de contacten niet gebogen zijn
Het opzetten van de oplader
1. Ontkoppel de accu (wanneer aangesloten) van de oplader
2. Steek de accu oplader stekker in een geschikte stroombron
Let op: Het groene LED lampje (31) van de oplader brand wanneer de oplader klaar is voor
het opladen van de accu
WAARSCHUWING: Gebruik de oplader enkel voor het opladen van de inbegrepen accu, of
voor aangeschafte accu’s, speciek ontworpen voor de machine
WAARSCHUWING: De oplader is enkel geschikt voor binnen gebruik en dient niet in
vochtige omstandigheden gebruikt te worden
Het opladen van de accu
WAARSCHUWING: Wanneer de instructies niet opgevolgd worden raakt de accu mogelijk
permanent beschadigd
Let op: De normale laadtijd bedraagt ongeveer 80 minuten, voor een recent ontladen 4,0 Ah
accu. Wanneer de accu voor langere tijd ontladen is, bedraagt de laadtijd mogelijk langer
1. Schuif de ontladen/gedeeltelijk ontladen accu op de oplader (30)
Let op: Zorg ervoor dat de accu en de oplader juist zijn uitgelijnd. De accu dient gemakkelijk
in de oplader te schuiven. Forceer de accu niet. Wanneer de accu niet soepel op de oplader
schuift, controleert u de accu, de oplader gleuven en de contactpunten voordat u het opnieuw
probeert
2. Wanneer het opladen start brandt het rode LED lampje (29)
3. Wanneer de accu volledig is opgeladen brand enkel het groene LED lampje (31)
Accu laadniveau: De accu is voorzien van een laadniveau indicator (10) (Fig. I). Druk de
knop aan de rechter zijde in om het laadniveau weer te geven. Het rechter LED duidt op een
hoog laadniveau en het linker LED duidt op een laag laadniveau
BELANGRIJK: Wanneer de machine een laag laadniveau aangeeft, stopt de machine
mogelijk tijdens gebruik. In sommige gevallen is dit gevaarlijk. Het is aanbevolen de accu te
gebruiken met een redelijk laadniveau
Let op: Dankzij de hoge stroomvraag van de motor en veiligheidsrisico’s met een volledig
ontladen accu, is het aanbevolen minimaal gebruik te maken van 2,0 Ah capaciteit accu’s.
De 3,0 Ah en 4,0 Ah capaciteit accu’s zijn aanbevolen voor extra gebruiksveiligheid en een
optimale gebruiksduur

Opmerkingen betreft het opladen van de accu:
• De accu dient bij een omgevingstemperatuur tussen de 10 en 40°C (dicht bij 20°C is
ideaal) opgeladen te worden
• Na het opladen vereist de accu een afkoelperiode van 15 minuten
• Zorg ervoor dat de oplader na het opladen van de stroombron wordt ontkoppeld en juist
wordt opgeborgen
• Laad accu’s NOOIT voor langere periodes op en berg accu’s NOOIT op wanneer deze
worden opgeladen
• De oplader houdt de temperatuur en spanning van de accu constant in de gaten.
Ontkoppel de accu wanneer deze volledig is opgeladen, om de laadcyclussen te
optimaliseren en het verspillen van energie te voorkomen
• Accu’s kunnen na verloop van tijd stuk raken, individuele cellen breken wat leidt tot
kortsluiting in de accu. De oplader laadt zulke accu’s niet op. Gebruik de andere accu om
de werking van de oplader te controleren en schaf een nieuwe accu aan
• Li-ion accu’s mogen niet voor langere tijd ontladen opgeborgen worden. Dit beschadigt de
Li-ion accucellen mogelijk. Accu’s dienen volledig opgeladen (ontkoppeld van de oplader)
te zijn wanneer deze voor langere tijd opgeborgen worden
• De capaciteit van accu’s wordt na verloop van tijd lager. Na 100 laadcyclussen zullen de
gebruiksduur en de maximale koppel van de boormachine lichtelijk verkorten/verlagen. Na
500 laadcyclussen is de minimale capaciteit van de accu bereikt. Dit is normaal en duidt
niet op een foutieve accu
Het bevestigen en verwijderen van zaagbladen
WAARSCHUWING: Ontkoppel de accu
WAARSCHUWING: Bij het hanteren van scherpe zaagbladen is het dragen van
beschermende handschoenen aanbevolen
• Controleer of het bevestigde zaagblad geschikt is voor het te zagen materiaal
• Bevestig enkel zaagbladen die in perfecte staat verkeren. Botte, gebogen en/of
beschadigde zaagbladen dienen weggegooid te worden
1. Druk de as-vergrendelhendel (28) naar binnen en draai het zaagblad met de hand rond
tot de vergrendeling ingrijpt. Draai de vergrendelbout (13) met de inbegrepen inbussleutel
los
2. Verwijder de vergrendelbout, sluitring en blad ens (15)
3. Gebruik de beschermkap intrekhendel (12) om de beschermkap in te trekken en het
zaagblad te verwijderen
4. Let bij er bij het plaatsen van het zaagblad op dat de rotatierichting, aangegeven op het
zaagblad in de zelfde richting als de zaagblad richting indicator (26) wijst
5. Bevestig de blad ens, sluitring en vergrendelbout terug op de machine. Druk de as-
vergrendelknop in en draai vast met de steeksleutel
6. Laat de as-vergrendelhendel los en controleer of het zaagblad goed vast zit
Het stellen van de afschuiningshoek
• De machine is voorzien van een kantelende basisplaat (14), voor het maken van schuine
zaagsneden
• Draai de afschuiningshoek vergrendelknop (22) los om de basisplaat te kantelen
• Plaats de machine in de gewenste hoek (0-45°) met behulp van de
afschuiningshoekindicator (25) en draai de vergrendelknop vast
• Controleer de nauwkeurigheid door het controleren van de hoek tussen het blad (13) en
de basisplaat, met gebruik van een gradenboog
Zaagdiepte stelling
• De machine is voorzien van een zaagdiepte stelmechanisme
• Draai de diepte vergrendelknop (23) los voor een vrije verstelling van de basisplaat (14)
• Stel de machine op de juiste zaagdiepte met gebruik van de diepteschaal (24) of een
liniaal en draai de vergrendelknop vast
• Bij een juiste instelling, steken de tanden ongeveer 3 mm onder de onderkant het te zagen
werkstuk uit
Gebruik
• Het is aanbevolen te oefenen op een stuk afvalmateriaal voordat u het werkstuk
zaagt. Juiste machine instellingen zijn cruciaal voor het verkrijgen van nauwkeurige
zaagresultaten. Bij onjuiste instellingen raken werkstukken mogelijk beschadigd
Het hanteren van de cirkelzaag
• Houdt de machine stevig, met beide hanen bij de handvaten vast
• Zorg ervoor dat het zaagblad volledig stilstaat voordat u de machine neerlegt
• Zorg ervoor dat het werkstuk goed vast staat zodat het niet beweegt tijdens het zagen.
Klem het werkstuk wanneer mogelijk vast
Het maken van een snede
1. Houdt de machine stevig vast en rust de voorste rand van de basisplaat (14) op de rand
van het werkstuk
2. Zorg ervoor dat het zaagblad niet in contact staat met het werkstuk en/of andere
voorwerpen
3. Druk de uit-stand vergrendelknop (2) in en knijp de trekker schakelaar (3) in om de
machine in te schakelen
Let op: De machine is voorzien van twee uit-stand vergrendelknoppen – één aan elke zijde
van de machine voor zowel links- mals rechtshandig gebruik
4. Laat de motor volledig op snelheid komen en geleid de machine soepel door het werkstuk
5. Houdt een constant snelheid en zorg ervoor dat de basisplaat te allen tijde op het werkstuk
gedrukt is
Let op: De voorste rand van de basisplaat is voorzien van een inkeping. Voor normaal 0°
zagen, lijnt u de 0° lijn (18) met de zaaglijn uit. Voor 45° afschuiningssneden, lijnt u de 45°
lijn (19) met de zaaglijn uit
6. Zorg ervoor dat het zaagblad het werkstuk volledig passeert voordat u de trekker
schakelaar loslaat. Wanneer de zaagsnede voor de rand van het werkstuk eindigt laat u de
trekker schakelaar los en laat u het blad volledig tot stilstand komen, voordat u de machine
uit het werkstuk tilt
7. Leg de machine niet neer voordat het zaagblad gestopt is
Accessoires
• Verschillende accessoires en verbruiksmiddelen, waaronder zaagbladen, zijn verkrijgbaar
bij uw GMC handelaar. Reserve onderdelen zijn verkrijgbaar bij uw GMC handelaar en op

Onderhoud
WAARSCHUWING: Ontkoppel de accu voordat u de machine schoonmaakt of enig
onderhoud uitvoert
Algemene inspectie
• Controleer regelmatig of alle bevestigingsmiddelen nog goed vast zitten. Door vibratie
kunnen ze na enige tijd los gaan zitten
• Reparaties dienen uitgevoerd worden bij een geautoriseerd GMC service center
Smeren
• Smeer alle bewegende onderdelen regelmatig met een geschikt smeermiddel
Schoonmaak
WAARSCHUWING: Bij het schoonmaken van de eenheid is het dragen van de juiste
beschermende uitrusting, waaronder een veiligheidsbril en handschoenen, aanbevolen
• Houd uw machine te allen tijde schoon. Vuil en stof doen de interne onderdelen sneller
slijten, wat de levensduur van de machine aanzienlijk vermindert
• Verwijder stof en spaanders regelmatig uit de stofpoort en de ventilatiegaten en voorkom
zaagsel ophoping binnen de machinebehuizing
• Maak de behuizing van de machine met een zachte borstel of droge doek schoon
